"I love my 2015 Hyundai Accent"

- kporter9

It was finally time to retire my 2005 Hyundai Accent so I called the dealership and was put through to Bob Louie - who was absolutely great through the entire process! He was patient and supportive and answered all my questions as I worked through not 1, not 2, but almost 6 different options. Without a doubt he is the best salesman I have ever had the pleasure of working with and I can guarantee your experience with him, and Destination Hyundai, will be a positive one...they go above and beyond to earn your loyalty, explain everything about your options and then walk you through every function of your car. Best of luck with YOUR purchase at Destination Hyundai!

"Made an online appointment for recall work and their gal..."

- Ihaterichmond

Made an online appointment for recall work and their gal tried to talk me into an oil change. No biggie as I was due. Even my home dealership mailed me a reminder to service 1 at about $70. I get there and the rep tried to push as 38 clicks service 3 when I only had 18 clicks on the car. What was umore outrageous, hyundai recommends a basic service 3 at about $135. Destination up sells to their service 3 plus at $308! What a rip . I write the service manager, Robert Dent. He writes back with a condescending remark that he is sorry I find Hyundai of Canada recommended service intervals unnecessary. He should be sorry he lost a customer. Btw. The plus as I know involved removing the brake callipers and shoes to clean them with brake cleaner. As well there are a number of fluid flushes. All additions Not recommended in the owners manual. Furthermore, brake service and flushes are useless on late model low Kms. Cars. Cash grab rip off anyone?

"I purchase brand new car there . The problems starts when..."

- Kamila27

I purchase brand new car there . The problems starts when I went there for service even if I'm paying for it they doing big favour to customer with shuttle somewhere. At first visit the people from service told me they drop customers only in Vancouver area and preferably to the closer skytrain but when I was buying the car nobody asked me for adress and inform me that when I bring my car for service I would have to plan on my own what to do with myself for few hours when they do my service . The way how they treat customers it's far from customers friendly . Stay away if you not live close otherwise everytime when you need service you would have either wait there for several hours or take bus or skytrain both ways !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"I had my oil changed at this location while on a trip to..."

- Debbie Raymer

I had my oil changed at this location while on a trip to the Lower Mainland from my home in Vernon.I will never go there again. My Hyundai was new and this was it's first oil change. They screwed it up by not getting the oil filter properly installed, whereupon oil leaked all over the engine, creating a big mess and it had to be re-done at my home dealership in Vernon. I had to pay as much again as the original cost to fix the mess Destination Hyundai caused. I was advised to seek a refund from Destination Hyundai, which I did by letter before Xmas, enclosing copies of the invoices and a letter of complaint/explanation. The invoice from Vernon Hyundai clearly states this problem was caused by the first improperly done oil change. I have so far (over a month) heard absolutely NOTHING from Destination Hyundai, no refund, no apology. That is why I am rating the price as "VERY BAD" because so far, I have had to pay for service that was faulty, which should not happen.
