- PatiCakesI went to Moffat mazda in January 2019 to get my rear brakes changed on my 2016 CX 5. 7 months later the brakes felt like they were vibrating and I had them checked at another mazda location who indicated the brakes had worn out on one side to 3mm and the other side was good at 6mm. When I inquired at a 3rd party location as to why that would be, they said faulty installation. Now I mostly do highway driving and everyone one I talked to says you should not have to change your brakes after 33 314km. As a matter of fact, most companies will guarantee your brakes up until 40 000km but Mazda Canada stated, since I had not done the brake cleaning at 24k km ... I was SOL. Never again Mazda

- Medic_wrightSo I bought a Mazda here 18 months ago. Walked in knowing what I wanted so it was probably one of the easiest sales they've ever made. They had a deal at the time where if you buy a car from them you get one of those sets of bose speakers. . . 18 months later still haven't seen my speakers. They are always busy, I was told I would have to book 3 weeks in advance just to change my tires. I don't know my schedule that far in advance so that doesn't work for me so I told them I would come and pick them up, change them myself and then return the winters for storage. Get them changed over and come back to drop them off. Like I said, they're busy so I get out and give the attendant a hand at the hatchback door getting 2 of them out before getting back in the driver's seat. The attendant goes around the passenger side and gets the last one out from there and says "ok you're good to go ". I back up and there is a crunch. The service attendant left the door open. So I now need a new door. I go to talk to the service manager who is immediately defensive and despite agreeing that there is shared blame was rude and dismissive and said the best he could do was $200 off a new door (which would still need painting and fitting). I was sent to "their guy" who quoted $3200 to do this. If this is Moffatts idea of "helping me out" they are scam artists. As somebody who has owned Mazda in the past and would have readily given Moffatts my business for as long as I live in Barrie I am appalled by the way I was treated. Jason may be a great service manager but is clearly a terrible business man. Like I said he admitted fault and refused to do anything. Moffatts has lost my business. I will gladly drive to another dealership to have my car serviced from now on as I refuse to give them a penny more of my money. Avoid this dealership like the plague.

They are incredibly efficient, friendly, and always have the service completed quickly. Their shuttle service is great and I've never had a single bad experience or complaint in any of my trips there. I recommend this service department to anyone.
