I have been looking for a new SUV for over 3 months and have dealt with numerous salespeople and dealerships. West Ed Hyundai was by far the best. I found Alan in particular to be very knowledgeable and fair. There was no pressure at all from him and he really did do his best to give me a fair deal. Likewise, my experience with both Aaron and Vance was great as well. The only downside to my experience was Krystal (the second finance manager I dealt with). To be fair it was her first or second day at the dealership. However, she was pushy, rude, condescending and I almost walked out of the dealership after having to deal with her. Had it not been for the other professional, knowledgeable and courteous sales team members I had dealt with I probably would have left at that point.
I highly recommend Alan, Aaron and Vance for financing, but do avoid Krystal if you can.

I was interested in purchasing the Hyundai Tucson, and had had previous dealings with another dealership. I was referred to West Edmonton Hyundai, and to Alan Sugiyma in particular, and am very happy I went with them. Alan was very knowledgable about the vehicle and answered all of my questions thoroughly. He, along with Aaron, were very upfront and honest with what they could, and couldn't do for me which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend this dealership.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted very friendly. I was given my space to browse around at first and when I had question, Richard Lam was there and more than capable of helping. Richard was very informative and honest during my entire purchase, but most importantly, didn't pressure me at any point throughout the process. He didn't hesitate to offer to show me the many features and options that the 2013 Santa Fe's have, and was more then happy to take me on a test drive. Aaron Ratsoy was very friendly as well, offered to do what he could to assist during the process, and didn't push for anything. Overall, my experience at this dealership was excellent and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to make a purchase. Thank you for my new car West Edmonton Hyundai.

Before I decided to buy my new vehicle, I did my research. I went to West Edmonton Hyundai knowing exactly what vehicle I wanted and how much I expected to pay for it. After a bit of negotiating with Aaron Ratsoy and Richard Lam, I got the vehicle that I wanted with all of the accessories at the financing rate & term that I expected. I worked out the financing details with Vance Yue who was very easy going and just enhanced my overall buying experience and perception of the dealership. From start to finish, Richard Lam took care of my every need and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle from West Edmonton Hyundai.

Second vehicle purchase, original sales associate no longer with Hyundai, requested that Aaron suggest a sales associate who would be a fit. Aaron did a great job of assessing fit and recommended Richard Lam who was excellent. Richard was approachable and respectful and provided a thorough overview of the vehicles of interest. Richard was relaxed on the test drive and encouraged testing of any of the features. Our vehicle was ready for pick up with additional features requested within two days. On the day of pick up we met with Vance and he completed the paperwork in a thorough and efficient manner so that we could get on the road. Richard did an outstanding job of orientating us to our new vehicle and went above and beyond to describe a couple of features not in the manual that he was eager to share with us. A great team, but Richard made our decision to purchase as he is very knowledgeable and patient in responding to all of our many questions. Richard has provided prompt responses to those few questions that we have asked since the vehicle purchase. Thanks Richard!

Christa was our Sale Associate and we could not have asked for a better experience. I will guarantee that any concerning pre-conceived ideas you have of Car salespeople will be totally put to rest when dealing with Christa. At times it felt as though she was a friend doing the car shopping with us and not trying to sell us a car. This is how the shopping experience should be…. very inviting (10 out of 10 for Christa). Diane and Vance in the finance department was outstanding and very patient with our situation. Diane clearly outlined options for us and was very accommodating. The price I negotiated was good and compared to negotiations I had made with other brand dealerships while shopping, and prior to coming to West Edmonton Hyundai. The 2013 Santa Fe was our choice among the vehicles we negotiated. It was the attention to details, concern for the customer’s needs and, most of all, total customer service that sets this dealership apart from the rest. Do yourself a favor and visit this dealership the next time you are vehicle shopping. So nothing is perfect but our experience was pretty close. 10 out of 10.

One word to describe this dealership: INTEGRITY .

This dealership is unlike any other dealerships we have dealt with. They are very transparent about the total and final cost of the vehicle and exactly how it was calculated. Have you ever been to a dealership and you ask for a price and they come back to you with a monthly payment instead? Then you get all excited because it's within your monthly budget? Well, I would bring a calculator if I were you. That dealership is probably overcharging you for the vehicle and making the payments look small because it's over 96 months!

You will not be getting that sort of treatment from West Edmonton Hyundai. From the beginning, they will tell you how much the vehicle is going to cost including what's included (oil changes, etching, mats, etc...) and any other additional cost they much charge for selling the vehicle (a/c taxes, tire taxes, tag fees, etc).. Then they show you how they calculate the monthly payments for 48, 60, 72 or 84 months. In addition, they are knowledgeable, friendly and they RESPECT your time! No back and forth about anything (unlike other dealerships) and they are quick at getting back to you.

In addition, they give you a fair trade value for your car and there is no BS whatsoever. We dealt with Richard Lam and he was very polite, friendly and trustworthy. I highly recommend this salesperson.

You will not regret buying your vehicle from this dealership.
