I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Car-On Auto Sales has been deeply disappointing and, quite honestly, concerning. I purchased a vehicle from this dealership believing it had been properly inspected and safetied prior to sale. Since then, multiple issues have surfaced, including non-functioning heated seats, a heavy main seal leak, and most concerning, a tire containing what appeared to be a temporary repair patch that required immediate replacement of all four tires. The tire issue was identified immediately during routine maintenance elsewhere, which raises serious concerns about the thoroughness of the safety inspection completed before the vehicle was sold. I trusted that a dealership-certified safety inspection meant the vehicle met a reasonable standard of safety for my family. Equally frustrating has been the complete lack of communication and accountability afterward. Over the course of several months, I made repeated attempts to contact the dealership by phone, email, service requests, and direct messages to both the salesperson and sales manager. Virtually none of these attempts were acknowledged. I also encountered issues regarding winter tires that were included as part of the purchase agreement. I was later told there was “no record” of the agreement until I produced written text confirmation from the salesperson. I understand that used vehicles can develop issues. What I do not understand is how obvious concerns appear to have been missed during inspection, followed by months of ignored communication afterward. As a customer, the experience left me with very little confidence in the dealership’s professionalism, transparency, or commitment to standing behind the vehicles they sell. More

Customer service has been very poor, especially once the sale was completed. Concerns are often left unresolved for weeks, and it feels like you are constantly waiting without proper follow-up or support. We purchased a warranty, but later found out that basic issues such as heating and cooling are not covered, and even diagnostics are excluded. This was not clearly explained at the time of purchase, which was frustrating. The service centre experience has also been disappointing. Booking basic maintenance such as an oil change has been inefficient and slow, with limited availability and poor scheduling coordination. On top of that, after a service visit, there was damage found on the driver’s door of the vehicle, which added to the frustration and lack of confidence in their handling of the car. More
