finance guy (steven) called me a fraud because i got insurance knowing i get laid off once a year. When i tried to use my insurance he told me no because i just recently bought the car. Steven was probably the worst guy ive wver dealt with at a dealership. The car it self was nice but a week later the bumper was drooping( body work needs to be done now from previous owner) the headlights stopped working (had to replace because mounts for lights were broken) and the window cracked from them “filling in” stone chips instead of replacing the front window. Still waiting on all my paper work as they said they would be sending it all through the mail i have not recieves even a junk mail from carvista never mind the paper work for the purchace of the vehicle.... DO NOT DEAL OVER THE PHONE CHECK THE VEHICLES THOUROGHLY BEFORE YOU BUY FROM CARVISTA

So i bought a vehicle from these guys. I Lived out of town and dealt mainly thru phone. And they delivered the vehicle to me Which was awesome. Love the Suv i got. But later that evening i started to notice a lot wrong with the vehicle. Stalling, Vibration, Broken Buttons that didn't work. Check engine light came on, So i talk to the dealership they agreed to take it to a shop and they would cover it. They even Called the shop ahead of time yo now i was coming down. Fine. So i do that. Then i find out there's more wrong with it. Like Ball Joints. Brakes, Sensors, That switch, Possible Timing belt replacement needed. Cost for repair $3500- $5000. Then they say they only want to cover $1000 of the repairs. And expected me to cover the rest. lol. So Not happening. few days After they offered me $1500. Meanwhile i have no vehicle, Cause it's in the shop. Which by the way this is only 4 Days after getting the car in the first place. I ended up telling them. I'm backing out of the deal. Went to the shop took my things out of the vehicle. Called the financial company in charge of my loan, Told them what happened. They agreed And they called off the load with the company...

From the minute I walked in to the dealership to the minute I left I was extremely happy with the overall customer experience these guys have to offer. It's truly next to none. The best overall experience for me to date when it comes to shopping for a vehicle. My sales person Glen was absolutely phenomenal in his dedication and determination in making it all happen for me. He was straight forward and very clear on what my options were and to the very detail. He left nothing out. He answered all my questions and got me the best possible deal for my situation. I am very happy with my purchase of a 2014 Chevy Sonic LT and it all came to fruition because of Glen and Ride Time. At Ride Time it's not about them, It's about you the customer. If you are looking to purchase a very good quality used vehicle, Ride Time is the only place to go. It's the best. Your overall experience in going to Ride Time will be next to none. I've had several dealings here. Some we bought and some we didn't. Having said that we've bought 4 over the years and I think that's a lot from one dealership. They don't deal in Eastern, rusty stuff and are friendly and easy to deal with.
Time for an update (Rounds 2, 3 and 4) - myob192831
So we originally (back in 2015) had a great experience with this dealership. From sales to finance was pretty smooth.. No real issues..
Fast forward to.. 2017
We went in to upgrade our Primary Car (2015 Sonata Hybrid) to 2017 Sonata Hybrid under a "promotion" they had (pretty trash promotion). We got stuck with some younger sales person who knew nothing about the car we were wanting (I knew more than they did) and we ended up having to get inventory from Vancouver to get even close to the color/trim level we wanted.. I should note, they under valued our trade about 3200$ less than a competitor did (and their promotion wasn't worth the difference). We also within about a month bought a second used vehicle from them.. Where they refused to negotiate on price or anything.. They couldn't find our winter tires after the trade in, they lost the hub nut covers as well. . And on a service of the used car left us a nice long scratch.. Oh also, for the 2017 we ordered in, they gave us a delivery date.. Called in to see if it was ready and it wasn't... They had to "rush it" and didn't do a very good job on the initial clean. Dennis had no qualms helping us cheat the system on financing either
Their service department is pretty awful to, the 2017 had a short with a wire harness (no big deal, all cars will have their issues) which caused the heated wiper landing to.. smoke.. Aside from not only not believing us on this, it took numerous shop visits to get it fixed.. At which point, the heated/cooled seats stopped working properly which took another.. 3-4 visits to deal with, and the head rest color (blue leather) peeled and that took a good month to get a part in for..
Fast forward to Summer 2019, we are shopping for a new car for our Mother in law.. a 2019 Kona Ultimate... They had very little stock period, they didn't even bother looking to see if they could get one in from another location.. And when we said we'd review numbers and go over her budget.. We got the "last ditch" sales pitch.. We asked if they could come up on the trade in by 1000$ (it was a 2015 Trax, which they already offered 3500$ less than a competitor did) and they wouldnt... Sales guy was also pushy and frankly rude when he called back. . We ended up going to a competitor (Murray Hyundai.. Review on that one is next)
Bottom line is, since they changed ownership they don't value the customer nearly as much.. It's pretty sad, as you used to get the bonus of dealing with a small local dealership (I believe its now owned by the same dingus's who own the Benz dealership)

Went there a couple of months ago..... Complete waste of time. I saw a vehicle that I liked on the website. Went there to check it out. Got to talk with Arlin (he was very rude by the way). Talked to their sales guy, then we found out the vehicle that I wanted was from Crown Nissan. So the sales guy showed me other vehicles from their inventory but I did not like them. So they said they will find a way to get the car that I wanted from Crown Nissan. After 2 hours of waiting at Automax sales guy said he will just give me a call asap so see how things worked out. So I waited 3 days no call... decided to call him and he said he still has no news regarding the car I wanted but he said he will call me back the next day. 2 days passed no call... i called him back maybe twice a week for 2 weeks but all I get is his answering machine. I left several messages asking him to call me back.
At 3rd week my wife stopped me from calling them. It felt like I was waiting for a job interview or something... frankly they made me look like a fool or desperate. I was going to spend my money on them and this is how they treat customers?!
What got me even mad was they collected all my details and got me pre approved (they did a credit inquiry).... all for nothing!!!
Wasted my time visiting Automax... looked like a fool waiting for their call... wasted a credit inquiry that will now show on my credit history.

Was all set to buy a Journey but the Uconnect didn't work...needed a software update but instead of offering to fix it, they decided to walk away. Wasted 3 hours of my time, with an old man that had no clue what he was doing, had to call the boss 20 times, couldn't even refund my deposit back properly, had to write a cheque. They clearly sell vehicles they know are faulty, cuz whoever buys a silver 2013 Journey from them, they know about it and it'll be your problem. Avoid them at all costs

This is the worst dealership ever! I was naive and 18 when I purchased a car. They sold it to me for 28% interest, they sold the car with plenty of misinformation, when I thought I’m almost done paying the car off and called them they told me I owed another $25,000. I’m now having to almost file bankruptcy. The company has a corporate culture of greed and deception. They’ve pushed several customers to bankruptcy. There will come a time when all this is going to catch up with them, and I hope one day they try to rip someone off with resources and capability to fight back.
