great experience - tommy/michelle
I had a great experience at Auto Gallery of Winnipeg in purchasing my very first car! Darryl with Auto Gallery was great to work with! He was very knowledgeable and helpful and made the process easy. John in finance was also helpful and the financing process was very efficient. Not only did he go above and beyond but he continued to work on our financing on his day off so we could get our vehicle ASAP. They helped to make the process seamless & quick! Would recommend Auto Gallery to all! Thank you all very much!!

satisfied buyer - jake rempel
Our total buying experience was excellent. Scott Penner, the salesman was most helpful. He was not pushy. He led us through the features of the car in a very professional way. Scott is a first class person. We can't say the same for salesmen at other dealerships. We would highly recommend Scott to others.
Excellent - jaliroma
We just bought our fourth car here. As usual, it was a positive experience. We were able to trade our 2015 Accent and got into a Tucson . There is always have a good atmosphere. Thank you !

20 years later... - Jason Gross
Everything about my experience was fantastic!
I’ve had my old truck for 20 years and figured it was time to upgrade to something newer. The entire experience is something I won’t forget. The building and layout isn’t your normal dealership. It’s very welcoming. There is no pressure in purchasing a vehicle and talking “business”. They will work with you to fit your needs! Everyone there makes you feel like family. We were there on one of their busier days, my wife had worked an over night shift and David and Tyler did everything to make sure she got home in time to rest.
I love Elias! He’s fantastic. It was always whatever I wanted. Whatever was best for me.
Joe kept us entertained while we were waiting for a technical issue to be fixed. Ty joined in and explained the best way to get the vehicle back there for detailing. He was even willing to pick it up from work to help out.
Thanks to everyone for making this a great experience and we will definitely be back to buy another.
Sorry Ryan still can’t get my dad to part with the avalanche.

Very Professional and Kind Staff at this Dealership! - MoMo Rocks
This was our first new car purchase (always bought used before) and was pleasantly surprised by the professional and exceptionally kind Staff at Go Autohaus VW in Winnipeg. Our Salesperson Nia Albertin was especially wonderful to deal with, so professional, knowledgeable and personable that made purchasing a car flawless, it was not an intimidating or overwhelming experience. Nia was so courteous and has excellent communication skills in getting back to us with any questions or concerns we had to make this transaction easy for us. We also met Cody Wood and Primini Ismath in our dealings regarding this purchase and they too were so very kind in dealing with us and our questions, they went above an beyond to assist us with this transaction. Thank you so much to Go Auto Haus VW for your professional service!
Great First Car Buying Experience and Excellent Service - brittanymaria423
I came to Kia knowing that I wanted a Soul. Dan showed me the car, explained all the options and took me on a test drive. He was friendly and knowledgeable and I appreciated that he was not a high pressure salesperson. Setting up financing was a smooth and straightforward process. I am very happy with my new Soul and absolutely love the car! Thank you to Dan for helping me find my dream vehicle and for making my first car buying experience a good one.
"Nice upgrade with great service" - Georges
Mark Elliott sold me an F150 back in 2016 and recently a nice 2019 upgrade. Even though one day he was away from his office he went out of his way to respond to my queries in order to maintain contact. His level of service should be the norm for other sales people. I guess history repeats itself as Mark once again exceeded my expectations. Thank you Mark!
Excellent Customer Service - Jie Huang
Professional and friendly staff. It was a great experience purchasing our vehicle here, Obviously, love the service, and I'm looking forward to making my next purchase!
Great Experience - Achahal

Best Deals & Friendly Staff - jhemi
They are very friendly here and I never felt pressured to make a purchase. After checking out several other dealers we bought our chevy cruze here as they had the best deal and friendliest staff. Also finacning was very straight forward. A great family owned business!
A gem of a dealership! - james
A gem of a dealership! We had the best car buying experience. We dealt with Tony, Craig and Kevin, all three did a very good job and got us the car we really like! Salute to all the staff!
Great service. Great people. - JG
My experience was very positive. I had an oil change and new battery replacement. Very quick service and shuttle service was also greatly appreciated. Although I understand the need for surveys I do find them very annoying and somewhat of a deterrent for using a dealership. If you need to do a survey for every visit you make it may cause people to make fewer visits. I for one do not appreciate having to analyze every experience I have. It is too time consuming. In this world of social media we spend far too much wasted time on these devices and very little time on the things that really matter. Thanks for this opportunity to vent.
New Vehicle Purchase - Cindy
Gino made my experience of buying a vehicle at McNaught the best experience that I have ever received at any dealership. I would highly recommend Gino and McNaught to any family or friends for there purchase of there next vehicle.
Sharp, concise, informative, - SDM
The sales person (Nik) was very polite and professional. If he did not know the answer to my questions he quickly found it. The inventory is a huge list of low KM, excellent condition vehicles. The staff as a whole were friendly and courteous. The facility very clean and not cluttered. The lot is organized in a manner that makes sense. Pricing was good. Great job Nik, kudos to the staff! I will be back for service.

Repeat Customer - Another Great Experience!!! - gunasauras
Bought a 2019 Tiguan last week and was very happy with the dealership. I had originally taken my 2018 Atlas in for a new windshield (rock damage from a highway tractor) and a couple of small recall repairs, so my wife and I decided to take advantage of the timing and trade in her 2014 Tiguan on a new 2019 Tiguan (we live a few hours outside of Winnipeg). Mary Rose Mirando was the salesperson we dealt with for the purchase of the new Tiguan. She was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely professional throughout the whole process. With Mary looking after us, everything went perfect!I would highly recommend St. James VW if you are looking to purchase a new VW. Ask for Mary, you will be more than happy with everything!
Worst Place I've ever dealt with. - MRBIG
So i bought a vehicle from these guys. I Lived out of town and dealt mainly thru phone. And they delivered the vehicle to me Which was awesome. Love the Suv i got. But later that evening i started to notice a lot wrong with the vehicle. Stalling, Vibration, Broken Buttons that didn't work. Check engine light came on, So i talk to the dealership they agreed to take it to a shop and they would cover it. They even Called the shop ahead of time yo now i was coming down. Fine. So i do that. Then i find out there's more wrong with it. Like Ball Joints. Brakes, Sensors, That switch, Possible Timing belt replacement needed. Cost for repair $3500- $5000. Then they say they only want to cover $1000 of the repairs. And expected me to cover the rest. lol. So Not happening. few days After they offered me $1500. Meanwhile i have no vehicle, Cause it's in the shop. Which by the way this is only 4 Days after getting the car in the first place. I ended up telling them. I'm backing out of the deal. Went to the shop took my things out of the vehicle. Called the financial company in charge of my loan, Told them what happened. They agreed And they called off the load with the company...
Very satisfied - AlbertoAuto
My experience with this dealership has been great. The employees have gone above and beyond to ensure that I am satisfied with my purchase. I plan on referring family and friends to this dealership.
Not a welcoming experience - Dennisp1989
finance guy (steven) called me a fraud because i got insurance knowing i get laid off once a year. When i tried to use my insurance he told me no because i just recently bought the car. Steven was probably the worst guy ive wver dealt with at a dealership. The car it self was nice but a week later the bumper was drooping( body work needs to be done now from previous owner) the headlights stopped working (had to replace because mounts for lights were broken) and the window cracked from them “filling in” stone chips instead of replacing the front window. Still waiting on all my paper work as they said they would be sending it all through the mail i have not recieves even a junk mail from carvista never mind the paper work for the purchace of the vehicle.... DO NOT DEAL OVER THE PHONE CHECK THE VEHICLES THOUROGHLY BEFORE YOU BUY FROM CARVISTA
Bought a few from here - wingrif2019
I've had several dealings here. Some we bought and some we didn't. Having said that we've bought 4 over the years and I think that's a lot from one dealership. They don't deal in Eastern, rusty stuff and are friendly and easy to deal with.
car looked like new - Mrfresh
I bought my car from Nott and I was amazed how it looked like new. They did a phenomenal job in the back very impressed!
2015 Jeep Cherokee North - K Griffin
After dealing with the big dealerships and not having the best experiences, Craig was a breathe of fresh air.
I love my Jeep. Excellent car buying experience, and he was open on a Sunday !Highly recommend!
OVERALL GOOD EXPERIENCE - Debra's Honda Civic Coupe Ex

Time for an update (Rounds 2, 3 and 4) - myob192831
So we originally (back in 2015) had a great experience with this dealership. From sales to finance was pretty smooth.. No real issues..
Fast forward to.. 2017
We went in to upgrade our Primary Car (2015 Sonata Hybrid) to 2017 Sonata Hybrid under a "promotion" they had (pretty trash promotion). We got stuck with some younger sales person who knew nothing about the car we were wanting (I knew more than they did) and we ended up having to get inventory from Vancouver to get even close to the color/trim level we wanted.. I should note, they under valued our trade about 3200$ less than a competitor did (and their promotion wasn't worth the difference). We also within about a month bought a second used vehicle from them.. Where they refused to negotiate on price or anything.. They couldn't find our winter tires after the trade in, they lost the hub nut covers as well. . And on a service of the used car left us a nice long scratch.. Oh also, for the 2017 we ordered in, they gave us a delivery date.. Called in to see if it was ready and it wasn't... They had to "rush it" and didn't do a very good job on the initial clean. Dennis had no qualms helping us cheat the system on financing either
Their service department is pretty awful to, the 2017 had a short with a wire harness (no big deal, all cars will have their issues) which caused the heated wiper landing to.. smoke.. Aside from not only not believing us on this, it took numerous shop visits to get it fixed.. At which point, the heated/cooled seats stopped working properly which took another.. 3-4 visits to deal with, and the head rest color (blue leather) peeled and that took a good month to get a part in for..
Fast forward to Summer 2019, we are shopping for a new car for our Mother in law.. a 2019 Kona Ultimate... They had very little stock period, they didn't even bother looking to see if they could get one in from another location.. And when we said we'd review numbers and go over her budget.. We got the "last ditch" sales pitch.. We asked if they could come up on the trade in by 1000$ (it was a 2015 Trax, which they already offered 3500$ less than a competitor did) and they wouldnt... Sales guy was also pushy and frankly rude when he called back. . We ended up going to a competitor (Murray Hyundai.. Review on that one is next)
Bottom line is, since they changed ownership they don't value the customer nearly as much.. It's pretty sad, as you used to get the bonus of dealing with a small local dealership (I believe its now owned by the same dingus's who own the Benz dealership)
Disappointed.... - CarguyHeero
Went there a couple of months ago..... Complete waste of time. I saw a vehicle that I liked on the website. Went there to check it out. Got to talk with Arlin (he was very rude by the way). Talked to their sales guy, then we found out the vehicle that I wanted was from Crown Nissan. So the sales guy showed me other vehicles from their inventory but I did not like them. So they said they will find a way to get the car that I wanted from Crown Nissan. After 2 hours of waiting at Automax sales guy said he will just give me a call asap so see how things worked out. So I waited 3 days no call... decided to call him and he said he still has no news regarding the car I wanted but he said he will call me back the next day. 2 days passed no call... i called him back maybe twice a week for 2 weeks but all I get is his answering machine. I left several messages asking him to call me back.
At 3rd week my wife stopped me from calling them. It felt like I was waiting for a job interview or something... frankly they made me look like a fool or desperate. I was going to spend my money on them and this is how they treat customers?!
What got me even mad was they collected all my details and got me pre approved (they did a credit inquiry).... all for nothing!!!
Wasted my time visiting Automax... looked like a fool waiting for their call... wasted a credit inquiry that will now show on my credit history.
Sketchy and Untrained - Drummer
Was all set to buy a Journey but the Uconnect didn't work...needed a software update but instead of offering to fix it, they decided to walk away. Wasted 3 hours of my time, with an old man that had no clue what he was doing, had to call the boss 20 times, couldn't even refund my deposit back properly, had to write a cheque. They clearly sell vehicles they know are faulty, cuz whoever buys a silver 2013 Journey from them, they know about it and it'll be your problem. Avoid them at all costs
Worse dealership - raterofmanitoba
This is the worst dealership ever! I was naive and 18 when I purchased a car. They sold it to me for 28% interest, they sold the car with plenty of misinformation, when I thought I’m almost done paying the car off and called them they told me I owed another $25,000. I’m now having to almost file bankruptcy. The company has a corporate culture of greed and deception. They’ve pushed several customers to bankruptcy. There will come a time when all this is going to catch up with them, and I hope one day they try to rip someone off with resources and capability to fight back.
Low-km Minivan with Lots of Problems. Poor Service. - Schnitzel
I was very disappointed with my purchase of a low-mileage minivan at CAPS Int'l, Selkirk, MB. Neither the van nor the service from this company met my expectations. I would not purchase from this business again.
Here's my experience:
Sep 24, 2016: 2005 Montana SV6 van purchased from CAPS International, Selkirk, MB, with 122K km for $5250 + taxes. Before concluding the purchase I asked the salesman what would happen if I discovered problems with the van the first week or two after purchase. Salesman said that in that event they would do what they could to help me. (He said they couldn't give me a new engine, of course, but they would do what they could to help, since they have a reputation to uphold.)
When I got the van home, I noticed that the tires were underinflated (< 20 lbs per tire).
Sep 25: Van driven from Winnipeg to Grand Forks. Several issues with van discovered.
Sep 26: I emailed CAPS and reported the issues:
(1) Check Engine Light - PO171,
(2) Fuel gauge malfunctioning, reading empty shortly after fill-up,
(3) Non-functional CD player,
(4) Electric door locks not working,
(5) Key fobs not working.
Oct 3: Van brought into CAPS Int'l. Code PO171 confirmed by the techs and cleared. CAPS told me to continue to drive and see if the code reappears. CAPS promised to look for a replacement CD Player.
Oct 7: I emailed CAPS and reported that engine code PO171 had re-appeared.
Oct 7: CAPS replied, saying they would speak to the techs about the PO171 code.
(no other reponses from CAPS)
Oct 25: I emailed CAPS asking if they intended to fix any of these reported issues.
(no other reponses from CAPS)
Nov 9: I forwarded my Oct 25 email to CAPS again, asking to please reply.
(no other reponses from CAPS)
Nov 12: I phoned CAPS to ask why they had not responded to my two previous emails. They claimed that my emails had gone to a Spam folder. (Strange, since none of my previous emails with the same Subject line had apparently gone to Spam.) I also reported a new problem with smoke coming from the driver-side rear wheel. CAPS promised to send tech(s) the following week to release the rear wheels and drive the van to Selkirk for repair.
(no van pickup and no calls or emails from CAPS)
Dec 2: I phoned CAPS to ask what happened to their promise to pick up the van. They expressed "surprise" that no one had picked up the van. I told them I had scheduled a tow for the van from my home to CAPS in Selkirk.
Van towed to CAPS Int'l Selkirk at my expense.
Dec 27: CAPS reported to me that they had fixed the emergency brake, the engine light, and the fuel gauge. It seems that the emergency brake and engine light are indeed fixed, but I can't confirm whether the fuel gauge is fixed. I ended up fixing the door locks and fobs myself.
The CD Player is still not fixed.
Bottom Line: I expected better from a low-km vehicle from this business. CAPS ignored many of my requests for help. Not once did CAPS International apologize for failing to respond to my requests for help or for not following thru or dragging their feet on their promises.
