Shockingly bad experience with Focus service department this week. 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe flashed warning lights on dashboard - engine redlined and then shut off - on the Perimeter Highway on Monday morning this week. 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe flashed warning lights on dashboard - engine redlined and then shut off - on the Perimeter Highway on Monday morning. Couldn't get into our preferred Murray dealership for a week so took it to Focus. Focus service desk said tech looked into it and said oil was very low so did an oil change (had one done 6 weeks ago at another location). Proceeded to give us a list of other recommended non-motor work to be done totaling $3,900.00 - but said nothing else about the motor. Left the dealership with the fresh oil change and the next morning the motor suffered a catastrophic failure, again on the Perimeter - and was lucky not to be run over by a semi when the car stopped running in the middle of the outside lane. This time had it towed to Murray Hyundai. Within an hour the Murray service tech knew the engine had suffered a main bearing and rod failure destroying the engine. He figured it out from the report of what happened the day before, the known issue with that model and year of Hyundai engine, and the report of the final breakdown, and finally a thorough detailed look into the engine. Thank goodness the service people at Murray took the initiative to contact and work with Hyundai and they are replacing the engine at Hyundai's expense. To Focus - knowing that model and year of the engine and the issues we reported - how could you not have run troubled codes and done a little more digging to figure out what happened - other than low oil - which was obviously caused by a beginning to fail engine. More

Went to a different Hyundai dealer and bought a 24 Kona with 0 hassle and $1200 cheaper. Dealers like this give the whole industry a bad name. More

Worst customer service ever, bought tire insurance and they lied 5 times to try and avoid replacing my tire. Still waiting has been 5 days can’t even gove me a loaner car because they in their words “los they lied 5 times to try and avoid replacing my tire. I have been dealing with Focus for two years now. I have been totally happy with everyone I have dealt with. I just purchased my second vehicle there Justin was really helpful in getting me started. Alex was really professional in setting up the financial end of the deal and finally Adeeb was great in helping with the final vehicle preparations. Previously Randy has been excellent in maintenance and the staff in the body shop were also very helpful. Everyone that I have had the pleasure of dealing with have been courteous, friendly and very helpful. I would have no problem recommending them to any of my family or friends. More
Our first experience with this dealership was fantastic! The communication was the biggest thing that lacked from our previous dealer and my expectations were exceeded thanks to our service advisor Albert. Went in for first oil change (3700 kms), got vehicle back within a timely manner but only to find the interior was left dirty by the technician. Seat, drivers side door panel and door sill Also was told by the service provider that the car was washed when it clearly wasn’t. Not impressed getting my vehicle back dirtier on the inside than when I brought it in. Obviously it passed through a couple of employees without anyone taking the time to inspect the vehicle upon completion. It makes me question how well the actual service was performed. Although they did clean the vehicle when I brought it to their attention but it should not have gotten to that point. Not sure if I want to continue getting my vehicle serviced here. More
