I brought my 2024 F-150 Limited into your service bay - Joe

I brought my 2024 F-150 Limited into your service bay (2nd service station on n the west bay) this afternoon with what I consider an emergency issue: the oil pressure dropped to 0 and the onboard power is not functioning. I requested that someone take a look at it, and your technician told me the vehicle couldn’t be inspected for two weeks because they were busy changing seasonal tires. This is completely unacceptable. The truck is under warranty and currently unsafe to drive, yet I’m being told to wait two weeks for a basic diagnostic or go somewhere else. A situation involving oil pressure should be treated with urgency, not delayed due to routine tire service. On top of that, your technician made a concerning comment suggesting that these vehicles “consume too much oil,” which does not reflect confidence in either the product or the level of service being provided. If there are known issues or specific service requirements, your staff should be properly trained to handle them and accurately.

The 12 volt battery in my 2-year old F150 hybrid went dead, so I called Kanata service and they arranged for me to bring it in right away. They were very thorough testing it and even though the battery was “marginally OK”, they replaced it with a new AGM heavy duty battery, which was covered by warranty. This is the second F150 I have bought at Kanata Ford and the service has always been excellent - very professional and friendly. Special mention to my customer service representative, Thomas.

We spent almost two weeks negotiating a Ford F-150 Raptor. We gave all trade-in info, made several follow-up calls, and paid a deposit to secure the truck. The dealership even placed a “SOLD” sign with our name on the vehicle. After days of excuses and delays, we discovered on Dec. 2 that they had sold the truck to someone else. Completely unacceptable and a serious failure in professionalism.
