Experience with sales and financing was phenomenal. No problems with that. Unfortunately the used car I bought was sold to me in not the best condition. First there was the fact they were supposed to replace a light that was missing and no one did, thankfully I noticed when I was picking it up and they put it in that day. I noticed on my drive home there was rattling and wasn’t sure if it was normal, it had been extremely windy since I bought the car and before the week was over I messaged my sales associate, he confirmed it sounded like rattling and to get them to look at it. Also within the first 2-3 days of having the car a crack showed up from below the passenger side wiper blade (dealership said not their problem so that’s a $1000 expense I’m getting hit with when I know whatever chip would have been there prior to me having it). My washer fluid was low as well and fall leaves were still under the hood, my passenger side wiper wasn’t hooked in correctly either so them missing a chip seems likely to me. My key fob battery is low too so just so many minor inconveniences for a car I just bought. I had to take a day off work to go to the service department since they only have the service area opened during work hours, it’s also 45 mins from me and I didn’t have many options to get to work after. When the rattling noise was looked at the service department tried to charge me an amount for tightening it and telling me to drive more careful as I probably hit it on snow. I said I just bought the car and there hasn’t been snow. I also mentioned that it was rattling from day 1. They eventually told me they wouldn’t charge me after I had to stand up for myself that I wouldn’t pay, but they added to be “mindful” when driving over snow. Now that I don’t have the rattling I can hear a new noise when driving, I can’t take another day off to get them to look at it so I guess I’ll have to go to my mechanic and just eat the costs. This experience went from fantastic to terrible as I can tell they didn’t actually look under the hood. Just because certification is all digital doesn’t mean they still can’t miss things. As of right now I wouldn’t recommend buying a used car through this dealership as a car I financed for over $25k is costing me in the thousands now and time off work to deal with. I was hoping to invest in a new car in the next 5 years but it definitely won’t be here.

One of the issues with dealers, they typically aren't allowed to fix things like this and are forced to replace the whole thing, at customers expense. There are a lot of positives to this dealership. Very friendly, informative. Having dealt with service too I can share the experiences. Previously, I had purchased 9 vehicles from another dealer. I changed and made a deal to purchase at LH. Now, I made an inquiry, I received information, follow ups from sales. Worked out a deal on my 2022 trade. And signed the documents. Next day, I receive a call, they wish to talk about financing? Hmmm, we have financed my current truck with Ford credit and 5 previous. Never a late payment, never a missed payment. I get the call, I return the call. I call back a second time and send 2 emails. No reply. I’m wondering what is the issue. It’s frustrating to not get the information. When you think you have a deal. Although, I declined all the extras they were selling. So I thought it best to simply cancel this deal. They seem very busy and I thought each deal was important. I remember when you made a deal, shock hands and signed and it was a deal. Now days, I guess not. Dealer reserves the right to change the deal or modify it or do whatever. I don’t know because I did not wait around to find out. I’m disappointed and I did not expect this to happen. Pros and cons to ever dealership and situation. I wish LH nothing but, the best. They just won’t be getting my business.

January 23/26 This is an event that started of great,summer 2025 time to order a new F350 and out of my norm chose Thorncrest for once,close to home and they've been around for at least 50 years,normally l stay with my salesman at Summit for years and for fun l would like to see what they are all about. I walked in and meet Jim Zenetos, for me , the face of Thorncrest, sat down and built my truck,90k no questions went unanswered, no "l will get back to you", he's been there 40 years and knows his xxxx. I've had some 20plus trucks so the process is not new to me, as most know you get home and remember something you wanted on the truck or take something away, normal prices changed and Jim immediately corrected the quote, we are all on the same page, ordered it and arrived early and was ready for pick-up on September 30. This is when l went l from Jim's office to the rest of Thorncrests people, signing papers with other departments (normal) then comes lease manager Bryan man, right off the I'm questioning an additional charge of $375.00 for a yellow safety inspection sticker on a new 2026 new truck,he couldn't answer and was saying different things, l have never paid for a yellow sticker on a new truck but they will look into it. Then bill of sale was wrong, changed ,lease agreement printed incorrectly,different people are getting involved and I'm going on a 6 hours when should have taken 1 hour, Jim Zenetos being the nice guy he is is coming in and apologizing , and I'm thinking incompetence of Thorncrest Ford,I,m not the first sale ever. Now this is just the beginning and I'm going to try and summarize . By Oct 7 got a call Bill Of Sale (BOS) was incorrect, need to Docusign again,, done No correction on lease, nothing matches Up until mid Dec 19 I have had approx. 5-6 BOS changes No Lease agreement to match BOS Not finished November 19/25 Ford Credit sends overdue payment on old F450 Not finished November 19/25 Ford Credit sends overdue on new F350 non payment. Ford Credit reports default payment to credit bureau (confirmed my score drops by 140) Nov 19 informed by Ford Credit (month and a half Thorncrest had not paid off F450) Informed Thorncrest about everything that's happening.. Nov 25/25 letter from Ford Credit asking for proof of insurance, I'm Like W.T.F. I'm alling Ford Credit and they are telling me Thorncrest should have resolved it on day of pick-up. I decided to escalate to the G.M. Christpher Lina Dec1-2,he was very quick at responding but nothing more was accomplished then was before. Dec 5 went in to receive the last change to BOS. Jan 20/26 Ford Credit sent another letter for a copy of insurance that Throncrest should have sent on Sept 30/25 prior to the releasing of the new truck. In summary, almost 4 months passed,5-6 bills of sale, no lease agreement,unexplained unrefunded charges ($375) Ford credit rating ruined. My personal credit rating has dropped from 875 to 735. Thorncrest Ford sells thousands of vehicles so I can't be the only person this has happened to, Thorncrest was incompetent in my transaction so Just beware, read other reviews. Final note was when presenting to the G.M. Christoper Lina of said documentation and follow up emails,I felt that l should have been compensated in some form or another for gross neglect and incompetence for lack of checks and balances between departments. For this lack of customer satisfaction ,I feel that as a customer you should have used better discretion in your final decision on not to reimburse. If one person reads this then Maybe the Dilawri Group might take notice. I leave you a note, if you still are willing to support Thorncrest Ford at Least pay respect Jim Zenetos , you will leave knowing you got a fair and honest salesperson, as for the rest.... Beware,check,check,and double check, I'm worn out from this ordeal but it's a lot easier to lose a customer then to gain a new one.

Service department is a joke! They don't call back, don't give any reliable information from the advisor side and both my son and I had the service tech tell us one thing and the advisor something different an hour later? Took a month to get a Ford Transit transmission repaired under warranty....blamed Ford for most of the delay but it seemed to take a long time to even get to the point that they could send it to Ford? When we finally got it back, strange noises.....we make them aware, schedule an appt, take it in.....a day later they want to keep it over the weekend to do a cold test...it was warm when we brought it in 8 hours before? Ok, Monday, not call, Tuesday, no call or call backs.....6pm, message from advisor...we need 10 hours of shop time to remove the engine to find the problem? we need you to authorize it? but we can't do it now, you'll have to bring it back next week? We take it back the next monday.....no call Monday, no call Tuesday, Wednesday morning....we think its the bearing in the starter motor? really....that doesn't make sense but if you feel it needs to be replaced, go ahead....no call Wed, no call Thursday....late in the day, it's ready.....oops no sorry we didn't do the oil change you asked for....wait a couple hours....we pick it up Thursday evening....still making the noise and we tell the advisor....she assured me she would let Lori know and also how frustrated and unhappy I was! We need the truck for jobs on the weekend and early in the week....the noise continues to get worse...I drive the vehicle Wednesday and ask that my admin calls the dealership about how bad it is.....bring it right in....we take it back first thing Thursday morning....play and forward a video of the noise....Lori assures me she will take to Steve the tech and the Service manager and get it dealt with! No call Thursday, No call Friday, we call late Friday and my admin is told they haven't even put it on the hoist yet? My admin calls Monday midday, not answer, no call back. I call with a pretty ugly message Monday afternoon. Lori calls back, nothing has been done....a truck is on the only hoist that they have that can lift my truck and they don't know when it will be fixed and they have no idea when they can look at let alone fix my truck? I've made appts, been blown off, I've paid diagnostic charges that obviously were not money well spent.....I've paid to have parts replaced that were not the cause of the noise we brought it in for and now after 10 business days of the last month, not only do I not have a vehicle to use in my business....I have not indication on how long it will be or what they are going to do to make it better? A large, long standing Ford dealer like White Oaks should be able to do a much better job providing service and communications to customers and represent the Ford brand with a much better experience than I've had. I have 6 Fords in my extended business and personal fleet.....makes me wonder what the next vehicle should be.....probably not a Ford. Good Job White Oak.....I'm sure Ford will be proud of your job representing the brand! Sarcasm totally indented... you only received a one star rating because zero stars was not an option.

The 12 volt battery in my 2-year old F150 hybrid went dead, so I called Kanata service and they arranged for me to bring it in right away. They were very thorough testing it and even though the battery was “marginally OK”, they replaced it with a new AGM heavy duty battery, which was covered by warranty. This is the second F150 I have bought at Kanata Ford and the service has always been excellent - very professional and friendly. Special mention to my customer service representative, Thomas.

I looked at a 2019 F150 at this dealership. Hamoody, the salesman was great being very engaging and friendly. The first thing I had noticed about the truck was that the tires had very minimal tread. In discussion with Hamoody, he acknowledged the minimal tread and stated that the tires should be replaced to pass safety. I asked what brand of tires they would be replaced with. He said that typically they are replaced with the same brand that are already on the truck. I made the deal to purchase the truck and would be returning to pick it up after it had been detailed and safetied. Four days later when I came back to pick up the truck, the tires had not been replaced. The dealership made the decision that there was enough tread on the tires to pass the safety. If the roads had been snowy or icy that day I would not have taken the truck because I would not have felt safe. The management expressed no concern for my disappointment for the tires not being replaced as previously discussed. The detailing was poorly done. It looked to have been a rush job with some areas missed. I give Hamoody a five star for his service. I give the dealership a one-star. In reflection, I should have gotten it in writing that the tires would be replaced.
