I bought my truck at this dealership for service always as I bought my truck there. So thus the sense of loyalty. However I am a bit frustrated about the length of time it takes to do what may be considered a simple service. (ie) oil change, tire rotation and a cabin air filter change. The distance? Well I live is across town to the dealership. I bring the truck in as the dealership opens or a half hour after it opens all the time. Through my booking I’m ask if I can leave the vehicle. Which I always say yes. The service I consider simple (maybe I’m wrong) should not take all day. Inevitably the truck gets done just before closing, then it’s a mad scramble to pick me up when the service department finds out I need a lift to pick up my vehicle just in time for rush hour across town. Understand the service isn’t the issue, it is always top quality. The issue is booking the time, and the length of the service. I never expect to pick up my truck before noon. Which would be 5 hours in the dealerships possession to do the job. When I received the call that they would not be able to get to my truck and if I could leave it for the weekend or just drive it back the following Monday. I was extremely unhappy. I let the service tech know that and before I knew it the truck was done around 5pm. I didn’t pick up the text until 20 minutes later. So no phone call. Mad rush to get me to the dealership again so that I could have my truck for the weekend. I’m having second thoughts about bringing my truck in not because the service maintenance is bad. But it’s about being fit in and getting a minor job done at the last minute. I appreciate the dealership has issues that have to tend with and stuff happens. But I to have stuffing happening in my busy life and I dislike being at the whim of the dealership as being fitted in and if they got time. What’s is the point of making a booking then? Anyways it’s not world ending, but gees I have to be made a priority if I book for same day service and not just be finished at the end of day as I feel like I’m just being squeezed in at the end of the day. That’s it, I guess.

As it was a used vehicle it had to go through the inspection process which revealed it needed new tires. Glenn went to bat for us and has a set of heavy duty all weather truck tires installed instead of more basic tires. Glenn's service was fantastic.

If the truck was "100% Reliable" according to the salesperson, why did it show up with $10,000 in engine damage? I don’t leave negative reviews lightly, but after two months of dealing with Westridge GMC, my experience needs to be shared. I was promised by Keeley S a vehicle that had "gone through the shop" and had "the opposing province's inspection performed". When I asked about its mechanical condition, I was told, verbatim: "100%. If it wasn't I wouldn't have even offered having it delivered and i'd have wanted you to see it first." The vehicle was delivered, and immediately upon my first start, I saw "Low Coolant" on the cluster. A third-party shop and my local GMC dealer both confirmed the diagnosis: Bad head gaskets. Day 1. Quotes ranged from $8,600 to $10,500 for a truck I was promised was 100% reliable. Sales Manager Josh G’s best offer was for ME to drive the truck 7 hours each way and still pay 50% of their shop's cost. Roughly $2,900 out of my pocket for their mistake. They refused to unwind the sale or cover the actual cost of the damage they sold me. I diagnosed the blown head gaskets in 30 minutes with no tools. Why couldn't a GMC dealership, one that sold this truck new and serviced it most of its life, do the same? I initially planned to sue, but after an AMVIC investigation and consulting a lawyer, I decided against it because proving they "ought to have known" is nearly impossible. AMVIC noted the previous owner was "very uncooperative" with their investigator. Crucial Advice: AMVIC told me directly that Mechanical Fitness Assessments (MFAs) provided by dealerships DO NOT require them to look at the engine, transmission, or driveline at all. You cannot trust the salesperson or the dealership’s paperwork. A pre-sale inspection by an independent shop is mandatory if you still choose to buy here. If you value transparency and mechanical integrity, do not buy from Westridge GMC. They were in a hurry to sell and offered a $5k discount, but a discount is not a license to sell broken vehicles without disclosure. When they sold me a truck with major engine damage, they failed to offer a reasonable resolution. The truck was repaired at my own expense. The final bill was $7,619.60. I am fortunate enough to be in a position to cover a disaster like this. Are you?

Well I wish I could say something positive... but shop local, support local screwed us with this particular business. My boyfriend took his truck in because the gas tank takes a half an hour to fill due to the gas pump clicking off CONSTANTLY as if it were full. Who wants to stand out in -30°C pumping gas for 30 minutes, right? So call Westlock Motors, service department tell him sure, we'll look at, they run a diagnostic, explain what's wrong and a quote to fix the problem, $800! So boyfriend says yes, fix it (his truck is pretty well his job). So almost 4 hours later he gets his truck back expecting that 4 hours and $800 later that its fixed. So he goes to fill it up... nope, not fixed, can't fill it. Not sure why the service consultant would not have checked to see if the problem had been resolved before returning it and charging my boyfriend for 'fixing' the problem. Call the dealer to see what had happened and what could be done to resolve the problem, speak with the manager and he tells us that if we bring it back in they will run a free diagnostic... hmmm so what is the new diagnostic going to say that the last one didn't? How much is it going to cost to fix the new problem since the last $800 didn't fix it..... why would we bring it back? We are feeling completely scammed by this dealership and all they want to say is bring it back in and we'll look at it again? If you didnt catch the problem the first time in the 4 hours you had it, why would we trust that it would be fixed this time? Are we stupid or something? Worst service experience we've had anywhere.

The service manager was just fantastic dealing with our 2016 Buick Encore engine light problem we encountered on our journey back home to BC. They got us in first thing and we were back on the road by 2:30 that afternoon. Adrian in parts was just super. I can’t say enough good things about the staff and management. They truly make you feel like you are in good hands.

We purchased a 2025 Buick enclave all wheel drive. From Shawn Kisling he was an OK sales rep. lol. He ran us through everything spent a lot of time with us about two days. Less than new cars, sales manager listen to what we had to say and came up with a price and I told him what I wanted to pay and they got their price now Mike and in financing that’s another story that man knows his job inside and out and is so helpful. The staff in parts and in-service the young the girl at the desk the overall boss everyone was so nice to us. Now for the vehicle, it is one of the smoothest riding vehicles I have ever driven. It’s has a little bit of road noise more than I was expecting for a car of this quality but overall, I would give this a 10 . So if you’re looking for a new car go and talk to Shawn less and Mike make a deal with them and come out with something that you’ll be proud to own for a long time. We couldn’t be happier.
