Bought a 2020 Rav4 in Apr '24 from North Bay Toyota and made an appointment for May '25 for the first oil change. Took the day off work to drive from Sudbury and upon arrival was told by the service desk there was no record of an appointment and there weren't enough kilometers on the vehicle to warrant an oil change. After returning home, I sent an email to the general service email account, and copied Peter Kalmo, the service manager, attaching the confirmation email of the appointment and the surprise of an unnecessary day off work and trip. I received no reply, acknowledgement, expression of concern or thanks for the feedback. This week (Sep '25), I had a 2 p.m. scheduled oil change/service and was told it would take approx. 1 1/2 hrs. While waiting, I watched vehicles being washed before being returned to customers. At 4:20 p.m., the service rep advised me the rear brakes and rotors should be replaced and that they could be done before closing at 5 p.m. at an added cost of $750. I had already been waiting for almost 2 1/2 hrs, so advised I would have the brakes done later. At 4:45 p.m. service was complete. I asked if they would wash my vehicle as they had done for prior customers and was told the washing bay was closed. I don't know the reasons for the lack of consideration or complacent view towards customers, but after having only two experiences with the service department and both being unpleasant, I won't return for a third. Expressing my disappointment to the service manager will be disregarded, so instead, I'm posting this review.

I have had excellent service Auto Lune Toyota . My car was bought in Kingston, Ontario and while other local Niagara dealerships were reluctant to service our two Toyotas,Auto Line has been excellent. I usually book through a service advisor because the only disappointment is the call centre who don’t seem to be able to book what I need. My most recent problem was with our RAV4, it was a problem with the infotainment system. I got an appointment within two days and it was fixed in two hours. Excellent service.

Once again Toyota Pickering has showed me that that's the only place I need to go to service my car. I wanted a quick easy fix so I walked into Mr Lube to change over my winter tires to my summer tires. Long story short they tried to charge me almost $800+ for 2 new tires plus the service, my tires are brand new but they told me for safety reasons I needed new tires. I quickly said NOPE (then realized how stupid that idea was)put my tires back on I jump in my car jumped on the 407. I drove my car into the service area I was greeted at my car. Ryan quickly told me "I got this, go have a seat it won't be long" ...I helped myself to a bag of popcorn I grabbed a coffee, and sat for 45 minutes. They washed my car, changed my tires AND charged me the proper amount for a tire swap. I will never go anywhere else and I appreciate all the hard work that Toyota Pickering does to satisfy their customers All the employees are wonderful but I just want to point out Brad & Ryan because they literally made my day, after that horrible experience at Mr lube where I could have spent over $800+ that was not needed. Thanks always.

My last 2 service calls are just atrocious from my tire being in your storage and having a puncture or a leak on the side. wall and having to replace all four . Then when the tires where replaced the winter tire studs/nuts where not back in the vehicle. When i left the dealership the 3 remaining tires were not put back in the vehicle . My last service was tire rotation i’m know experiencing tir or front end vibration. When the tires where replaced the locking wheel nuts where not on or inthe car like the winter ones which cost me at the time 66 dollars is this a common occurrence it will know cost me wheel nuts and locks ????

Their service is terrible. I bring my car in for scheduled service. They tell me the cabin filter needs replacement, and the HVAC needs cleaning. I said no to the HVAC. I get the truck 2.5 hrs later, no mention of the filter on the work order, and I wasn't charged. So it obviously wasn't done. I mentioned the Instrument cluster glass was cracked, probably from the extreme outdoor heat. It has to be ordered. My previous Toyota truck had the same problem. They tell me it isn't covered under warranty, but after I raised a stink they said they will do it "this time". If it happens again and they don't cover it, I will go to Toyota Canada, and make a complaint with OMVIC. Next day, they called me said the part was in. I make an appointment for 11am the following day. I arrived early, gave my keys to the clerk, and and walked all the way to Tim Hortons at Gardiners rd/Bath. A different clerk calls and says they can't do the job until 2pm! I'm fuming! I upheld my part, and then this! Then he calls me back says they will try to fit me in within the next 30 minutes. Not good enough!

I am extremely disappointed with Markville Toyota. I bought my Sienna Hybrid less than two years ago, and I’ve already had to bring it back more than four times for the same hybrid and electronic system problems. Each time, they insisted it might be caused by my dashcam, but that excuse has been proven wrong. I disconnected the dashcam fuse completely, just as they told me, and yet the exact same issue happened again. And every time, they asked me to leave the car at the dealership for 2–3 days “for testing,” causing huge inconvenience to my family. On a family trip more than 5,000 km away from home, the engine light came on again, the cruise control failed, and the hybrid system shut down while accelerating. It was so unsafe that we had no choice but to cut our vacation short and return home early. I now have another inspection scheduled for Monday—and I honestly wonder what excuse they’ll come up with this time. I may not be a car expert, but it is absolutely clear that this is a defect in the vehicle itself. When I first purchased this car at Markville, they even asked me to leave a 5-star review in exchange for free oil changes and other services. But when the vehicle has serious recurring problems, no one takes responsibility. After this experience, I can no longer trust the glowing 5-star Google reviews for this dealership. I’ve been driving Toyota vehicles for over 15 years, and I’ve never been this disappointed.
