It was like 50 years ago but I still recalled what my teacher taught me when I attended a “customer services” classes, teacher said PR, “P” represents “Patience” whereas “R” means “Respect”. It sounds like a kind of old school, but these two factors are the must in nowadays customer service. We had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Toni Chan in Markville Toyota where we bought our third Toyota since we migrated to Canada 40 years ago. From the moment we met, his professionalism, expertise, plus his commitment to excellence were evident. In additions to this Mr. Toni Chan demonstrated his super patience and respectfulness to an old man like me. He repeatedly provided valuable advice, marketing strategies and trends throughout the entire process. You must aware that people in my age have a common resistance of modern technologies; unwillingness to learn new things, does not want to touch any new electronic, absolutely uncomfortable when sitting into a new RAV4 with thousands of different buttons in front of my eyeballs. However, Mr. Toni Chan patiently explained to me in fine details the different between new and old of each function of operating the vehicle, that make me regaining my confidence and explored the new technologies. Toni has walked an extra mile by offering me two tutorial classes to make me to have a better understanding of everything about the new car. Markville Toyota recognizes that there are many choices in dealerships, but why people chose to make purchase with them? It is because you have the top sales person like Mr. Toni Chan in you company. You have to understand even you have the greatest products in the world you still need great people to sell it. Back in 2021 August, I went to Marvkille Toyota to purchase Toyota Prius Prime because it was closest dealership from my house. The first thing sales person asked was 'do you live in Markham? Because purchase Toyota Prius Prime because it was closest dealership from my house. The first thing sales person asked was 'do you live in Markham? Because we only sell the vehicle to locals who would get service from us in the future'. and i told her yes, i removed to markham 2 month ago. Then she brought some upsell products. First thing was 3 years maintenance, which cost about $200 for oil change. I told her that i do not want to spend $200 for oil change, and i am licensed automotive technician, so i can do it by myself. She told me that hybrid is so complicated that i may need this, and I told her, no, because Toyota offers 96 month hybrid components warranty and 120 month battery warranty. Then she asked me to get corrosion module, which cost thousands. I told her this is 100% scam, it doesnt work. Furthermore, I asked her if Toyota has corrosion warranty included, but she said No. The only warranty Toyota has 3 years basic warranty. (which is not true. I searched and Toyota offers 5 years corrosion warranty). Then read out the detail of the contract, and there was 'Weins care', and i asked her what it is, and is it mandatory, and she said 'kinda'. I asked her to remove it, and she told me that 'can you just buy it? just consider that i gave you discount for not buying extra warranty'. lol I was speechless. When i got home, I was so mad that I was trying to be the most easy going customer. I didnt ask for the test drive, discount, accessories, but they tried to upsell their stuff. i sent an email to weins auto group customer service and the sales manager, ethan, called 2 days later. When i picked up the phone, and he said 'this is Sales manager from Markville Toyota, Ethan. Did we talk before? Did we? Did we talked in person?' and i said ' well, no. I spoke with your salesperson, Blair, and Blair went back and forth to talk with you' and he said 'Oh, ok. so we didnt talk in person. I think there was a communication misunderstanding. you know, i am the person who would upsell those service to even my grandmother. So what do you want? do you want your deposit back?' I told him to just remove the weins care stuff, and he told me to come back tomorrow. This january, i went to the dealer to rewrite for 2024 model, and the financial guy told me to get the premaintenance package. I told him i do not need it because i can do it by myself. He told me that the warranty will be void if i dont get the service from their dealership. lol Its funny how they scam their customer for the money. 16 months later, I asked her whats the estimated wait time, and she doesnt know, she does not have any info, estimate, nothing, but just wait. I told her i cant wait anymore, and i want my deposit back, and she didnt reply anymore. I went to the dealership in person, and guess what? she quit!!!! I was surprised that she quit without saying anything, and the dealer didnt mention anything about it to the people who was dealing with her. It was the worst decision to deal with this people. More

Keep in mind the paperwork he had to do behind the scenes to complete the sale! You simply can't find such level of customer care and professionalism these days or yesteryear. This dealer pressures you to purchase an extended warranty and other unwanted items. If you choose not to buy them or not opt for a lease instead, you won't have a car, and there's no communication t warranty and other unwanted items. Visited the dealership with the intention of purchasing a Rav4 Hybrid. After agreeing on the quote, signing the papers, and providing my credit card, the manager unexpectedly insisted on approval contingent Rav4 Hybrid. After agreeing on the quote, signing the papers, and providing my credit card, the manager unexpectedly insisted on approval contingent upon the mandatory purchase of $1500 worth of additional services. This sudden inclusion of an extra deal at the very last minute eroded my trust, and I am now hesitant to engage in any business with them, nor would I recommend their services to others. More
