I have had very bad experiences with this dealership, and - Joseph Karaparambil
I have had very bad experiences with this dealership, and the most recent one was the worst. My Jeep had a problem where the vehicle would jerk around 40–50 km/h. I took it in for diagnosis, and they told me a motor bracket had play. They charged me over $300 for inspection/diagnosis and another $500+ for parts and labour.
After the repair, the problem was still there. When I looked at the paperwork, the mechanic even wrote that he test-drove the vehicle and noticed a problem between gear 3–4, but they still gave the car back to me without fixing anything. That was the whole reason I went there in the first place.
When I returned, the shop foreman test-drove my Jeep and immediately confirmed the real issue—a transmission flare. Clearly the original diagnosis was wrong, and I paid for a repair I did not need.
I was told they would call me within two days. Nobody contacted me for a week. I called back repeatedly and was asked to leave the vehicle for more “diagnosis” for an unknown number of days. They refused a loaner vehicle and even stopped answering my calls. My family struggled for transportation.
Only after I personally met the service manager did they apologize and finally give me a loaner. The dealership kept my Jeep for about another 10 days.
When I picked up my vehicle, I requested a full refund for the wrong diagnosis and unnecessary repair. The manager agreed and asked me to call after the weekend. I followed his instructions, but since then, he has stopped responding completely.
After spending money, time, two weeks without my vehicle, and dealing with ignored calls and poor communication, I still have not received the refund I was promised. I have decided to escalate the matter.
This has been a very stressful and disappointing experience. I will not return to this dealership, and I hope others are aware of how this situation was handled.
