I don’t live in the area — I was 300 km away from home when my Ford Transit 250 broke down. After stopping by another garage that couldn’t figure out the issue, I went straight to this shop without an appointment — and I’m so glad I did. The staff were incredibly helpful, kind, and professional from the moment I arrived. Stephen, the Assistant Service Manager, was the one I spoke with — he was amazing throughout the whole process. I didn’t get the name of the mechanic, but they did a great job diagnosing and fixing the issue quickly and efficiently. I was back on the road within just a few hours. Honestly, 5 stars don’t feel like enough for this experience. They truly went above and beyond. Highly recommended! Thank you, Stephen and team, for the outstanding service!

Unbelievable. Repair went wrong, I picked up my car after repair. . Next day I was left stranded on the highway. called CAA. towed in and thye realized the mechanic forgot to reconnect the gas gauge. I ran out ouf gas at 1/2 tank. Antonio denies any responsibility for mechanic error even though blatently obvious what had happened.. Lies, upon lies. No apology. In the market for a new car, but would not consider Kanata Ford.

I first signed a lease for a Ford F-150. After weeks without updates, I contacted the dealership and was told the vehicle I ordered was unavailable. I then signed a new lease for a different F-150, with a $50 higher biweekly payment. Then before my scheduled pickup, I was informed that the lease terms could not be honored due to an unapproved interest rate — and that my biweekly payment would now increase by over $200, despite signing the agreement 10 days earlier. Very disappointing experience, avoid this dealer.

I looked at a 2019 F150 at this dealership. Hamoody, the salesman was great being very engaging and friendly. The first thing I had noticed about the truck was that the tires had very minimal tread. In discussion with Hamoody, he acknowledged the minimal tread and stated that the tires should be replaced to pass safety. I asked what brand of tires they would be replaced with. He said that typically they are replaced with the same brand that are already on the truck. I made the deal to purchase the truck and would be returning to pick it up after it had been detailed and safetied. Four days later when I came back to pick up the truck, the tires had not been replaced. The dealership made the decision that there was enough tread on the tires to pass the safety. If the roads had been snowy or icy that day I would not have taken the truck because I would not have felt safe. The management expressed no concern for my disappointment for the tires not being replaced as previously discussed. The detailing was poorly done. It looked to have been a rush job with some areas missed. I give Hamoody a five star for his service. I give the dealership a one-star. In reflection, I should have gotten it in writing that the tires would be replaced.

The sales man told us last minute when we came to pick up our car that it’s not ready for pickup even though we confirmed 2 hours prior to leaving our house. We live 2 hours away left work early and this caused a lot chaos. Then when the managers came they didn’t promise anything the man said and told the sales man to leave because he told you he would provide a resolution and compensate us. The managers infront of my face told the sales man to leave as he promised us things they could not provide us with. After all this mess they didn’t provide and resolution other than have my car delivered to my house which wasn’t enough for the inconvenience this caused.

Stealership is more appropriate. Wanted to end my lease 12 months early. 2022 F150 XLT, no accident, with 70km. I've had so many recalls, I did not want another Ford. Buy out was 32K. I contacted my former salesperson, Clint. He indicated they would be interested in the truck for their used lot. The Wizard (the person upstairs no one sees) determined if I PAID them 5K, they would take the truck. My research indicated my truck retail value was 45K roughly. That means they wanted to make an 18K profit on my truck. I know. Right? In that moment I lost all respect for Clint for wasting my time. I presented it to 2 other dealers, 1 a non Ford, and they both offered to GIVE me 5K. I went with Leggat Ford's offer in the end. I admit they advertise competitive prices, but they absolutely low ball on any trade ins. They had twice before when I leased this truck, and when we also bought an Edge from them. Buyer, be informed, stick to your guns, or you will 100% over pay here.

We had nothing but trouble with our 2018 Ford Escape. In March 2025, we paid for an extensive diagnosis and then almost $7000 in repairs. Two months later they said the car needed another $5000 in repairs. We decided instead to trade it in. Luckily the dealership had a Mazda on the lot. The negotiation was questionable at best (they said one thing but at the last minute put in a different number for our trade-in value) but we ultimately traded in ourFord for the Mazda. The final straw was when I went to pick up the Mazda - they charged me over $400 for the diagnosis of the problems with the Ford I was trading in. They needed to diagnose it anyway and so essentially I paid for that. Don't buy a FORD and if you do, don't use this dealership.

Today at 7:00am I dropped my car at Summit Ford for schedule Service, I am doing this for 8 years. I also requested a shuttle pick up at 2:30pm Ryan Knox was the Service Advisor. He did not text or call me all day. (0)communication all day. I called him at 2pm to see if my car was ready and to confirm pick up. he said my car was ready, nd my pick up was schedule on the board, at 3:10pm or 40 minutes later waiting for the unknown I had to find my own ride to the dealership. This is the worse service I experienced in this Dealership in the last 8 years. Never been left out with (0) communication. I did tell Ryan Knox that I was going to leave the feedback he deserved.

BUYER BEWARE. - SD

BUYER BEWARE...Brought my car in and was quoted nearly $700.00 for tire rod repair.($419.97 for labour!!) Took it to another mechanic was charged $70.00 and was told tire rods were fine, had a loose break pad. Saved myself over $600.00. Rude service, and lost all trust in this "Family run" business. NEVER AGAIN. ( AND was told I could not speak with the mechanic who worked on my car...just the receptionist...unheard of!! )

Brian Henry does not keep his word on promised items. Does not answer texts and hangs up on you when called. All ok when buying vehicle after papers signed, no help to keep his word. First I brought a 2022 Hybrid Escape because of knock in engine, traded and lost money for Escape Titanium with the promise to provide cargo cover. Almost 9 months now still waiting. Always making excuses eg; on vacation, virus, no part, ordered, parts department will call me, nothing pans out and still no part. Refuses to return calls or text and hangs up when he realizes who is calling. Dealership seems great but salesman Brian Henry is not to be trusted to keep his word .

What can I say, when it comes to selling a vehicle, I am sure you get red carpet treatment. When it comes to service, I think the manager has some incentive rigged up for the mechanics. You bring a vehicle that has been driving well and now needs a semi-annual inspection. You think you will have a clean pass and just pay for sticker? WRONG! They will find something to replace or repair. Because you have to pay for sticker regardless, they hook you with unnecessary work and not even done well. Example....they changed a rear center brake light that was never broken and when they did, it was not even screwed in....literally held on by the wire. It never surprises me what they find...another example, they said it won't pass because there is a hairline crack on speedometer....they need to replace the whole unit because it doesn't come with cover only. I challenged them and they retracted. The vehicle standards manual states it is defective if unreadable, non-visible or not working at all. This, if not investigated would have cost $1700CDN and I am guessing labour will have an added bonus because it was not easy to replace. I can go on with this dealership like trying to speak with manager....which apparently is impossible. I got burned 2x and when I brought a newly certified vehicle and they managed to find a xxxxxxxx problem....that hit am ultimate high. Where is the honesty is the best policy anymore. Feel sorry for others there that are doing their job respectfully, such a shame. Lost my trust in them. All companies with fleet vehicles, be wary if they find issues, they are having a feast at your expense. No lies from me....this is just a few I mentioned.

Excellent staff especially the service desk, above and beyond great service and finished product , detailed my car made it look like new, other retailers can learn from this dealership especially when others charge a lot more. Worth every penny I spent. I am also disabled and they helped me get the wheelchair out of the trunk and push me inside. Thank you again

Had Been looking for a used truck at a reasonable price and found it at Leslie motors. An hours drive from Guelph but worth a look. 1st time I booked a test drive that the dealership ( I looked at 2 others before coming to Leslie) didn't sell the truck the night before my drive (one was listed on Car gurus for 22 days). The Truck was there and ready for me to test. Rubber was worn but Curt said no problem we will replace with the same tires that originally came with the vehicle. I was impressed. After about a week of driving I noticed a grinding noise when at low rpms. Curt said no problem we'll book it in for a look , Flavia called me the next Day and we booked a day for them to have a look and it was fixed that day with new parts (not just WD40). My son bought his 2022 Ranger from Curt the same week. Overall the experience has been great and I wouldn't hesitate to send a friend their way. Curt, Flavia and Zach, thanks for a great experience so far...

Dealing with this dealership is so sickening I advise everyone to STAY AWAY from Maitland ford what a disgrace of a service department 3 months fighting to get my 2023 f150 truck fixed i called and booked an appointment 2 weeks till I could get in ok ill wait the day of my appointment it went in for a "drive control fault" and the back passenger running light didn't work they kept it 3 days on day 2 I called and they told me they ordered a sensor and on day 3 at 4p.m I called and they told me they changed the sensor and it didn't fix it so I would have to bring it back or leave it for the weekend but I use my truck for work and I needed it so they told me they would call me when they find a time and date so I called highland ford and booked an appointment so 3 days later my truck went in to highland they called 4 times in 3 hours with everything they found and found the part numbers and mapped out where the problems were and I took it to Maitland because highland dosent deal with Maitland extended warranty with the parts list and where the wires were broken they copied it and the older guy then argued with me about me not giving them enough time lol 3 days wasnt enough so they booked me in again were they said they would fix it so I dropped it for at 7 a.m. and I called at 4 to see how it was coming and they told me "oh ya its been done since noon we only needed pictures" so another day I missed out on money because they had it all day so I got annoyed so they said they would call me when the parts came in a few weeks went by they called me to book it in 2 weeks from then so I dropped it off again 7a.m. and they said it would be done by the end of the day and then they called me at 12 to ask if they can keep it the night were I angrily agreed and then called again at 3 to tell me to come get the truck because they can't get to it that day or the next so I was pissed went in a asked to speak the the service manager where she rudely ignored me and then wouldn't come speak to me so they said they couldn't get me in to fix it for another 10 days so I was even more mad so I sat across and waited for her and watched her keep looking at me and not come talk to me about this clear problem I was having with her service department so now this morning I took it in there were she then was short extremely ignorant with me then laughed at me when I asked her about my bill from having to take it elsewhere and ive called to speak to the manager and still nothing needless to say what a complete BULL CRAP place to deal with and so many ignorant people Maitland ford I will never be back and you people deserve to loss your jobs over the way you treat your customers

We went to this dealer to take a test drive and being pleased with this vehicle we purchased it. Our salesman Randy was very nice easy to talk to. The vehicle had a very little chip on the front window and they replaced it. Being close to the Christmas holidays Randy told us that with having to do a hundred something point check we would have to wait till Thursday of next week to have all the work done but that night called us to come get our car. The reason I believe was Randy was trying to get us into the car before Christmas good for him. The only thing I didn't like was the detailing of the car was not close to what I would have expected.

This is not a 5 star service. I have been coming here for over 5 years. The service has gone downhill. I had a scheduled works package on my Lincoln. Could not take my car in so my 19 year daughter took it in. She waited 3 hours and was asked to authorize $$$ of unnecessary repairs like $$ cabin air filters and servicing wheel hubs. Any experienced manager would realize she is not the vehicle owner. Not an honest establishment anymore. Take your care elsewhere.

The worst Ford dealership in the whole GTA. Service manager is completely incompetent. Technicians greedy, lazy, didn’t fix my car. I had to bring it back 3 times to have a noise in the suspension checked. And they forgot to install a part I had paid for. The sales managers act like your best friends until you buy a car then they ignore you and hide in their offices with the door closed There’s so many Ford dealers around Planet Ford that are so much better. For the time you waste waiting at Planet Ford you could drive somewhere else and save the days of back and forth driving for the same problem you just fixed. It’s worth it to try somewhere else. Planet Ford has has no customer service. Stay away!

I bought three consecutive vehicles from them, all three I purchased maintenance contracts which were expensive. They still ripped me off mercilessly as soon as warranty was up on my last vehicle. In my opinion Donway Ford's priority is in making the most money they can off every customer, they are not recommended.

Now I’m buying my new F150 from Marigold and the sales team has been exceptional so far. I may be trading my infinity for a Lincoln now as well. My impression is that the company culture is far better at Marigold than Fraser.

This post only contains facts. I purchased a new F150 from this dealership and am happy with both the purchase experience and the service department. Upon purchase, I was sent to the Financial Service Manager. His name is Deepak Saini. He offered me a 4yr maintenance plan and pointed at the wall beside his desk. Showing me the number of times I would need to perform a transmission fluid change over the life of the maintenance plan. The cost of which would be around $800 each time and it would need to be done, as per the plan on the wall beside his desk, three times during the course of the plan he was selling. (every 48,000 kms) This seemed reasonable to me to purchase the plan for around $5000 because the transmission service would need to be done three times and lots of other services are included also. Fast forward to Oct 17th 2025, about 1 year after purchase, and I am coming up for my scheduled transmission service, or so I thought. I spoke with the advisor to determine if it needs to be done on a weekday or weekend and then I was advised it would not be done until over 200,000 kms and would not be included in my maintenance plan. I spoke to Mr Saini, who denied using the large print service plan on the wall and three transmission services required at each 48,000km interval, at a cost of around $800 each, to con-vince me to purchase a maintenance plan for my new truck. I attempted to contact the General Manager of the dealership three times to resolve my problem. With no reply each time. I have been lied to by Mr Saini or he is unaware of what he is and is not selling for thousands of dollars. I have been cheated and stolen from because what I was sold is not what I have received. I suggest all future customers speak with the service department before purchasing a maintenance plan to determine what is and is not included. I hope the Financial Service Manager was just ignorant to what he was selling otherwise he knowingly lied to me.
