Tasha was very informative and answered all my questions right away. I left feeling more informed about the issues I came to discuss. I was very impressed with her product knowledge.
A Complete Recovery - Philadelphia
I liked the entire experience from the meet and greet to the interaction with the sales person Tom Boldick. Your coordinator Avery and service manager Jamie were likewise knowledgeable and more importantly attentive to my concerns. Unlike my previous service experience at your business, which was a 1 out of 10 I would suggest Jamie has turned the department right around to where I will seriously consider buying another Hyundai from you.

Had B service with ADS inspection - MJ
Excellent customer service. Great Type B service and no significant issue with ADS was noticeable, albeit strange noise probably from the struts were noticed by the customer sometimes.

Restored my faith - Joy
In my 40s I purchased my first new car it was a 2013 Volkswagen Golf wagon and I loved it.
but after the emissions scandal and return of that car; a car running a stop sign and totalling my new Jetta and the three weeks our replacement 2010 Volkswagen wagon spent in the northern dealership trying to figure out why our car battery kept dying overnight- I was officially through with Volkswagen.
The dealership ‘s mechanic couldn’t figure out the problem and “solved” it by putting a kill switch that I was to turn on and off every time I needed my car. The kill switch was put in one of my fog lights, which was removed.
Now anyone living in northern Saskatchewan doesn’t have to use their imagination to imagine what would happen when I hit a snowdrift on the highway.
After charging me for the kill switch and realizing that the car still wasn’t driving right and knowing I would never again deal with our local VW dealership. I decided to take my car to Saskatoon Volkswagen...and that’s when I met Angela Hebert. First thing she noticed was me, in my heels and business attire, bending down to switch off my kill switch in a hollow fog light, full of slush and snow.
That just won’t do, she said:) and they wanted to accept the challenge of finding and fixing all my cars woes.
I am a territory manager and am on the road, a lot - about 5000km a month. Thus I needed a good reliable rental car while the repairs were being done.
Angela took care of that and put me up in a beautiful new Jetta.
It took Saskatoon Volkswagen less than 1 day to figure out the problem and many more problems that would have put me in jeopardy on the highways of Saskatchewan.
Not only that but Angela made sure that the $4000 of warranty work was done, at no cost to me. After having their rental car for two weeks, they would not let me pay for it. I asked why they had been so great to me, after all it was a 2010 used car.
She said they wanted my experience to be great and maybe I would be a lifetime client.
Thank you Saskatoon Volkswagen and Angela Hebert for restoring my faith in exemplary service and Volkswagen. I love my car and you have a customer for life!

Great service - toontownchicky
Customer service was great! If you are in the market for a vehicle, they will take great care of you! Friendly, upbeat staff and everyone is willing to chip in and help out. I met with many people in the office, not sure of all of their names but it was a good experience.
Great to deal with until there was a problem! - LindyG
I had a very good experience initially when dealing with Dale Randall on Aug 15th for the purchase of a Kia Forte and Cory Szydlowski who is a financial wizard and very nice fellow. Dale is very personable and was very friendly and most helpful throughout the sale. He cheerfully drove me to get plates and waited patiently at the insurance office as they were very busy and even stayed an extra half hour to put them on and locate the manuals and give me a quick overview of the car because it was after 9pm and the dealership was closed. I really appreciated being able to take the car that night because I work over an hour from Saskatoon and having to arrange to make another trip back to city after work during harvest would have been difficult.
I apologize as this is quite lengthy but felt it necessary to properly explain my situation...
After driving the Forte for 3 days I found it very uncomfortable to get in and out as I hadn't realized it was such a low riding car and likely designed for younger people than someone in their 60's. I went back to Dale and he assured me not to worry because of Sherwood's 30 day 2500 K Customer Satisfaction Exchange Policy and that they would work with me to get into something more suitable which I was very relieved to hear. I wanted to exchange the Forte for a small suv, mini-van or a higher riding small 4 door car easier to get in and out of as I would also be picking up my aging parents on occasion. There was nothing suitable like that right then but Dale said he was very confident something would likely come in soon from a fall trade well within the 30 day exchange policy. He also put a request into his computer for my price range and preference while I was at his desk saying he would be notified immediately when anything like that came in and again said not to worry but to be patient as he was going to make sure to find me the right fit. He said he would keep in touch so I left feeling very happy and confident because of his assurances about an exchange.
Wanting to show good faith and trust in him I didn't call or press him about it but patiently waited for his call. After 2 weeks I was tempted to call as I had hoped for at least a courtesy call to keep in touch and was starting to get concerned but because he had said to be patient I trusted that he would be calling soon so I waited another week but still no call. By now (3rd week) I had a very sinking feeling so I went into the dealership to see him and also get a copy of my initial paperwork which I had lost. He was at the front when I came in and greeted me pleasantly and although he did help me by going to finance to request a copy of my paperwork he never said one word about my car situation or anything about efforts he had made in regards to helping me find another vehicle and quickly went back to his desk. I thought it incredibly strange since our previous conversation just 3 weeks prior had been entirely about him finding me a suitable vehicle within the 30 day exchange policy because the Forte was not comfortable for me to drive and especially after his many assurances about finding me an exchange.
Just to be clear and not wanting to leave any stone unturned, I stopped by his desk on my way out and asked him directly if anything suitable had come in and he replied quickly "No, just what was here before". Taking his word I left without checking the lot myself but because of a strange feeling I decided to check their website again (which I hadn't done recently due to being at farm with no internet). To my surprise I found 3 newer web additions of suitable vehicles all in my price range and all with fairly low mileage and even a van which is what I had originally came into the dealership looking for! I felt very hurt and betrayed as it became painfully obvious that either he had only given lip service of false promises to find me a vehicle hoping I would never return, or had entirely forgotten his promises to help me once I was out the door, but whichever case it was it gave me a very bad feeling of being dismissed and/or my concerns disrespected.
I believe Sherwood to be a reputable dealer in general because of friends who had dealt there before and also because I was treated very well during the initial sale, BUT this was my actual experience AFTER the sale when I hit a bump (pun intended). It was very disheartening after waiting patiently believing and trusting I would be helped to find a suitable vehicle therefore my caution regarding Sherwood is : BE VERY SURE of your purchase as you may never receive any help if a problem ever arises later. If a 30 Day Customer Satisfaction Policy DOES truly does exist I sincerely hope the management will review it and impress upon their sales staff the importance of honoring it and monitor it a bit more closely to make sure sales staff are taking the time and have the integrity to follow through if someone happens to misjudge a purchase as I did.
not trustworthy - Brian
Dodge City Motors gladly sold me the vehicle of my choice but completely abandoned me when it came to warranty work or service repairs. I purchased extra additional 2 years warranty but when it came time to submit a repair claim I was denied warranty. The transparent process Dodge claims to have is a fraud, I would strongly advise anyone buying a vehicle at Dodge City Motors to be extra careful (read the fine print) before signing any contract. They will gladly take your money but run and hide when it comes to warranty repair work. Dodge City Motors does not stand behind the product they sell.
Great service! - CourtneyZab

Very negative. - LornaM
I took my 2007 Vibe in for a Recall for passenger air bag. I was talked into further services. I got a call from service advisor. They couldn't turn off my car. Simple tap on brake or use remote is what it takes. Then when it was time to pick up my car it wouldn't start. So I didn't have car for 2 days. Then I got car and next morning it wouldn't start. They 3 times swore battery was checked. Finally after more time and problems I took it to CT. Problem? Bad battery. I will not be back to Mann and I dealt with them for a long time. Very disappointed.
Great - Shelly

Very unprofessional - Mcneil
I would first like to start by saying this is not my first run-in with these Goons. Some years ago that phone me saying that I was approved for a vehicle that I did not apply for financing on. Now despite this happening about a year later my girlfriend at the time required a vehicle and just so happened that they had one that fit the bill. So we decided to get it and finance. It was the worst decision ever as it set us back over $14,000 due to some shady paperwork apparently. Now some years later we're shopping again for another vehicle. Despite the horrible experiences that we've had in the past we figured that because we were not financing but rather paying for the vehicle and cash that it may be a different story so we decided to see what they had on the lot. The sales person directed us to some of the vehicles that were in our ballpark price range. He had explained to us that they were Bank repos and that they had no price tag and that they were sold based on offers that you give to the bank. So basically you offer the bank your best offer and the bank comes back with a counter. So after we found the car we gave the sales rep or best offer. He came out with the sales manager or something who was a really rude and unprofessional individual. His tone rate from square one was absolutely unacceptable. He basically made a mockery of our offer and told us that we were out to lunch and then continue to blame his sales rep saying that he was new and doesn't know what he's doing. These people have no class at all and it's too bad that that nice fella that was a sale rep has to deal with a xxxxxxxxx boss like that . On top of that while I was waiting for the sales rep and the manager there was another employee in the back screaming and saying profanity at someone on the other end of the phone as well as threatening them. This place is extremely unprofessional and extremely dirty. These guys are like greasy vacuum cleaner salesman and I would never recommend anybody ever deal with them on any level. These guys don't take no for an answer they were repeatedly try to Swindle you into one of their Shady Finance deals. I will never set foot on this property as long as I live and I will make sure that everybody I know is aware of how pathetic this dealership is.

Unknowledgeable sales staff. - Mellisa
Applied for financing for a dodge sport. Was approved to find out on net that vehicle was no longer available. Nice! At a later date noticed another vehicle, went for a test drive with sales person! Whom had admitted having no knowledge of vehicle what so ever.
Messaging her and another number that had been messaging me....I got a snarky response from person telling me you were told to come in and talk to someone else....that I was sopose to. Lmao. And sorry people learn how to talk to people not demand and be educated on availability of vehicles you are selling....while asking what the down payment would be I was given a fine 7000 down payment required. “Cool” yeah ok bud. no not Cool......I got the money but don’t have the time to deal w these peoples bs. Get some basic customer service skills.

I bought a BMW X5m from Saskatoon Barlow motors. Lol. The sales man took us for a scoot then went back to the dealership. I got out. Smelt oil. I said it has an oil leak. Sales manager said that they would take care of it. I said ok. So. Get the call and car is ready. So I bring it home. Tried it out on the 2.5 hour trip. I pulled into Macklyn and smoke was wafting from the hood and the cabin was very Smokey. Crawled under neath in the garage. The oil was all over the trans and the bottom of the car. Then I noticed the tires where worn right down to the wires on the rear tires. One shock was wet with oil. Not a pass for safety check. So they said they would take care of it. Thought it back. It went to modern motors in Saskatoon. Went to go get it and the right front plastic fender is cracked. So. It goes to Calgary to be fixed. Guy says it will be trucked on a trailer. It was driven. Comes back and it’s a xxxxty job. Some paint on the door and clearly see where the fix was. Dirt all in the paint. So it sat there for four months. Then they said they tow it off there property if I didn’t pick it up. So. I picked it up. Now for these issues I have bring it to BMW in Saskatoon. I have learned that Barlow brought the car to have it looked at the valve covers and turbo block was leaking oil. The work was declined. Then they brought it to modern motors. And fixed the bottom of the engine and replaced the left front driveshaft as I was complaining about a bad banging sound under hard acceleration. Now I have brought it to BMW and learn that the transfer case is pooched and Barlow knew about all the work required to fix it but didn’t do it. Don’t buy anything from these xxxxxx. The estimated cost to fix is $20000.00. The original sales guy now owns carget on 51st in Saskatoon don’t go there either.
