Took my Bev Cruize in for an oil change. I have done this for 10 years. They unraveled my block heater cord and flung it over the left fender and slamec the engine hood down which resulted I have done this for 10 years. I have never had reason to use the block heater, so the cord was neatly in its original place. I phoned to get it placed back in its original place but were not able to succeed. I was told that if I wanted it replaced that I would have to pay to fix it. They damaged my property and I need to pay for it!!!! No accountability or respect shown to the customer. If I need to plug it in, will it result in a fire due to the damage? Yes, they did call me to discuss the problem, but it’s like it’s your word against ours! I will never again bring my car there for service again. More

Be sure to inspect the car throughly because their preowned cars are REPAINTED, but they do not disclose to you! After 2 years, I found out that the back door passenger side was repainted. At the time of purchase because there was no claim on the Carfax report, I thought there was no issue! They either repainted the door after they bought the damaged car from the rental car company or they bought it with the repainted job done by the rental company. Either way, they knew about the paint job, but did not disclose it to me. They do not go through insurance and this is why it did not show a claim on the Carfax. Basically, they hope that you would trust the clean Carfax report and not taking it to a bodyshop for thorough assessment. I have communicated with them and submitted an official complaint to Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan (FCAA). It is all waste of time. FCAA is a joke! Do yourself a favour and buy from either private sellers or do a full assessment of the car before buying a vehicle from this untrustworthy dealership! More

I took my 2015 Chev Cruze car into Sherwood service at 8:00 Monday morning and spoke with service advisor Kyle Ryland with concern for a small fuel leak in engine compartment. By noon I knew the problem was a leak at the fuel regulator and that the parts needed were in Cincinnati and could take 10 days to arrive. Parts and labor were quoted at $1250. Kyle and I discussed me paying for overnight delivery, parts department checked it out and the cost was $50. I okayed it. The parts were delivered on Tuesday and at 9:30 Wednesday morning Kyle called me to say the repairs were completed and I could pick up my car. The repair invoice was for $1000 instead of $1250 plus $50 shipping. The explanation was that the repair went quickly. I am an "extremely happy" customer. That is the kind of service I am accustomed to at Sherwood Chev. Kyle kept me informed throughout, arranged transportation for me as needed to and from the dealership and was completely helpful, efficient and effective. ***AVOID THIS DEALER*** I bought a truck from Sherwood Chev Saskatoon a couple months ago and being a repeat customer I thought they would treat me well and was even told they would be damned if they were Chev Saskatoon a couple months ago and being a repeat customer I thought they would treat me well and was even told they would be damned if they were going to lose me to SMP (wish I would have gone with them instead). So I was looking for a ZR2 Silverado and they just so happened to have one left on the lot from what I was told a grey one. when I arrived I was informed it had sold but they had the general manager Todd's demo in black (not my favorite color but said I would consider it if they wrapped the front with protection and ceramic coated the truck and they agree. So far I'm happy. I said I didn't want the box cover or the after market oversized tires Todd had put on. Larry said he would see if he could take them off the deal and get me the topper I wanted, instead he didn't think it would be a big deal. He worked on the deal and called me a couple days later and told me that GM (general motors) wouldn't let him take them off. I consulted a couple other dealers and they informed me that it was all on the dealer not general motors. Well my deal was done and I got a decent price on my trades but I still am not happy with the fact that I had the extras I didn't want. I was informed that the GM was intended general manager later on. I was told this is how I was getting my new truck and if I wanted the topper they would get it for me but I was still taking the box cover and tires. When I asked Todd why they wouldn't take them off to make me happy he told me that's just how it is. I also contacted Kevin the dealer principal and was told he would look into it and was dismissed by him aswell. Moving on when they wrapped the coating on the front fender there was a flaw under the paint and they tried to convince me to leave it how it was. It looked like a huge pimple that you would get during puberty and I said no it needs to be fixed. Clint the auto body manager told me he was squeezing it in where he could and I accepted that the paint itself looked great but they didn't line the fender up properly and it looked totally out of place. They told me to bring it back again so they could try and fix it along with replacing the mudflaps that broke off due to a defect in them (this wasn't there fault it was the flap company). When I brought it back the second time I sat there for 4 hours when I was told it would only take an hour and when I got the truck back the fender still wasn't aligned properly. So I took it to my body guy and he said it was an easy fix and made it perfect for me. Not something I should need to do on a brand new truck. Needless to say I wouldn't send my worst enemy here and the way they treated me I was disappointed and will never deal with them again. More

Had my truck in prior to the extended warranty I purchased expiring, and asked them to check everything that could be covered under warranty. I expressed specific concerns I had about transmission noises and feeling (which they noted my concern on their diagnostic form) and of course being it wasn't throwing a code, a quick test drive and they said it seems fine. Couple months go by and my transmission goes. I get it towed to Sherwood thinking that because of my concerns expressed when I took it in for diagnostic that they would somewhat honor the extended warranty even though it had now expired. They offered a 25% discount for "loyalty" program because I had initially purchased the extended warranty. I agreed, however, the first replacement transmission sent out by GM turned out to be faulty when they tested it, so they had to get GM to send out a second transmission which took an ADDITIONAL 5 WEEKS to come in. I understand the way supply chain issues are right now but it's not my fault that the first replacement transmission GM sent was faulty and I travel for work a lot. When my truck gets done they tell me I can submit a claim with GM Canada for reimbursement for the rental vehicle expenses I had accumulated over the additional 5 week timeline that it took for the second transmission to come in. I create the claim with GM Canada, who subsequently sends the claim back to Sherwood to deal with, who informs me that they were not reimbursing me for any rental vehicle expenses because I didn't have valid extended warranty that would have covered those expenses and in basic terms told me they did me enough of a favor by giving me the initial 25% off. I would speculate that GM Canada would have covered the cost of the technicians time that they spent working on the first faulty transmission they had sent out. This "valued" customer will be taking his value elsewhere from now on. More
