Continued Amazing Service by the Team at GP Chrysler! - demihaarper
Took my 2017 Jeep Compass in for a routine service and to look into a "rattle" in the vehicle while driving. It was an issue that I had previously dealt with a few years prior. Unfortunately the stabilizer links in my model of vehicle don't last, especially on Grande Prairie AB roads and potholes. I would be more upset at the fact I will likely have to change these out routinely (once warranty is up,) however the service I receive time and time again at GP Chrysler, outweighs the inconvenience of this "bad quality" part.
Starting with the morning of the service, I dropped off my vehicle particularly late, or what is considered after their drop off time. Tony greeted me, and was very prompt with getting my on my way to work. Free shuttle was offered, but not needed. Throughout the day, I was updated with news confirming it being the stabilizer links again! Tony was awesome at explaining what the future looks like and how this part may affect me going forward as an owner of the vehicle. I really appreciated him looking into the longterm care of my car! He was even able to suggest what to expect, and how I can help maintain the "issue!" I feel equipped to deal with this, as much as it isn't ideal.
Whether I come for a routine oil change (mine are covered, which is a bonus!) or getting a service done, I am continually impressed by every single member of the team at this dealership. My salesman Dale Scotton always greets me and checks on how the vehicle is treating me. The service team is stellar at their efficiency, and willingness to help me out! Kylie is also a great employee and always super quick to help as well!

The whole team at Leduc Chrysler were great to deal with and helped me throughout the entire process. Brad McDonald was very helpful from start to finish, even though I had trouble making up my mind at first. Natalia in finance was knowledgeable and got me in and out of the office very quickly! There were some issues with the 3M upon picking up the vehicle, but Brad did a great job at rectifying the job and had it finished by time the paperwork was signed. I can see myself buying vehicles throughout my lifetime here.

I bought a Jeep Cherokee there in 2016 and purchased the extended warranty as well. A big mistake never do it - Nothing was covered and for the price of this I could have saved myself a lot of trouble. The oil changes they are recommending are a joke and they were upselling my wife things we didn't need and therefore I never went back to the service department. I was checking on winter tires and was treated as I was doing them a favour and giving a lecture which tires I should not buy and only buy theirs. My AC always said on HI on the passenger side and after I spent money on the diagnostics I was told "nothing we can do". In other word once the papers are signed they don't care at all anymore.
The salesman was beyond lame and showed me nothing how the car works. There was no GPS as promised and only after some haggling they installed it. It sucks anyways never get the GPS for Jeep because it is so outdated and can't differentiate between US and Canada.
Also there annoying sales department was hounding me to trade in my vehicle only after I had it for a few weeks. They kept on calling me at work with stupid suggestions and then never called me back anyhow, which was going on for years. In other words one of the worst dealerships I had to deal with and I will never ever give them a cent of my hard earned money. The Jeep is gone and so are the problems. If this would be the only car dealership in the entire world I rather would walk then drive one of their vehicles.

I wanted to buy a vehicle. Problem with engine and both pumpers rusty. That did not matter to me!
As I could not come around I offer them to wire the money and the vehicle would be picked up (after receiving payment) by a forwarding company. They denied!!!! One concern was, that someone has to inspect the vehicle and sign for it. That makes me thinking there might be more to the vehicle than they mentioned.
However the deal is busted in one or the other way. They keep sending me e-mails if I worked on a solution…. I have no words!!

However, this Carlo Colinares of Finance is very careless & unprofessional. An email was sent to him regarding some changes in the computation and he didn't even acknowledge or reply to it. Nor did he answer our calls. He did not inform Jecris that a LP had been issued, kept in his possession all along until the last minute. He knew that my wife should be included in the vehicle registration as we both signed the financial documents, yet we had to pay the Registry an additional $28 as he neglected to do so. He should know as he was also in the Sales Dept. not too long ago. Very disappointing!

Very disappointed. No explanation about the fix and no answer to my questions, very rude attitude. I’ll never ever be back. It was my 3rd time there because problems that came with my new brand Jeep. A/C never worked, bad installation of leather seats which caused a permanent problem with the rear seat. Lots of lies when deal was made, Courtesy Chrysler never granted what they offered: 1 year free oil changes, winter tires, colour of the Jeep, etc. Dealing with this people at Courtesy Chrysler has been a real nightmare.

My experience with this dealership has been horrendous, to say the least. Less than 2 hours into learning how to drive my used Civic the clutch went, and the car was undriveable as a result. When going through the purchasing process the salesperson showed me a completed “Mechanical Assessment Checklist” that was presented as an inspection that had been done on the car. I learned only after the fact that this was not an inspection and they only take the car out for a test drive as opposed to actually taking apart the transmission to check the clutch. The dealership refused to help cover any of the costs for the repairs, despite the fact that the clutch was obviously in poor condition when I purchased the vehicle. I feel like the dealership misrepresented what was being sold and wasn’t thorough or honest with me.
The salesperson and sales manager were the furthest thing from sympathetic when I communicated with the dealership, sometimes taking close to an entire day to return calls or to keep me updated on what was happening with the car. Once they had inspected the car, the price they were going to charge me to fix it (without helping cover any of it) was 950$ more than what my regular mechanic quoted me at. I felt stranded, and quite frankly, cheated as a customer who purchased a faulty car from this shady dealership. As soon as they had my money I fell to the bottom of the priority list and they couldn’t have cared less about my situation. I chose to go through a dealership to avoid this kind of nightmare and Sherwood Dodge has turned it into something far worse than I could have imagined. I would avoid this dealership when purchasing any kind of vehicle, not only used, and suggest getting a third-party mechanic to check the condition of any used vehicle being purchased.

I wanted to really emphasize how much I appreciate working with Adrian. He is absolutely fantastic, he is a no haggle, straight shooter with a great attitude and that is what I respect most in a dealership. I don't like the games you get at most dealerships and there was none of that. Adrian went above and beyond to help us and I have recommended him for a while but just by name really as I was friends with his sister years ago. I can truly recommend him and say he is one of the best car salesmen I have ever met. He made this deal, pick up and loaner experience the best we have ever had at a dealership.
He put up with all my questions and answered them really quickly as well.
Also Chad (the finance manager) is great as well, he was fast and professional but still fun and chatty which made this more fun than sitting in a room with a boring finance manager. I would highly recommend South Trail and especially Adrian... ask for him by name, you will not regret it!!

I will never support this Dodge dealership again. I have purchased 3 vehicles here and every time promises have been made that aren't honored. I have said to myself after every experience that I will not be going back but stupidly I have. The sales people are great until you say no. After the purchase is made the act stops. They will not see another cent out of me. I went for an oil change this weekend and tried to use my purchase 6 oil changes and get one free. They denied it. After spending over $130,000 on vehicle purchases and they are so petty that they can't honor their own incentive of ONE free oil change....forgot that.
I can't figure out how their rating is so high when all the social media sites and group within this town have nothing but negative experiences to share.

I brought in loose rims and tires to be mounted. I also purchased TPMS sensors for the wheels.
When I installed them on the vehicle the tire light was on.
I booked an appointment , we assumed the sensors needed to be flashed to the vehicle. It turned out there was issues with the new sensors.
Sensing the challenges I was facing with day, having two younger children with me.
I was presented with options.
Options that were presented to accommodate my childrens time and their car seats.
Ultimately I drove home then and there and MVD picked up our vehicle for us on Thursday to put new wheel sensors in.
I not felt like that they made it right with the wheel sensors, but was really impressed at their consideration of my children.
