He let me drive the two vehicles I had set my mind on and fully explained the options on each one. When I decided on the Buick he was very fair during the price negotiations and when I took delivery sat in the car with me and took me through how everything worked. I had followup calls to John about things I forgot how to operate and he was always helpful. I certainly endorse Madsen GM after my positive purchase experience.

All I can say is that I was ready to purchase a truck and I was not disappointed how easy it was to make a deal in the truck I wanted. I was in and out with papers in my hand and feeling pretty good with the whole experience. I drove two hours to see this truck and it felt pretty good walking away with what I think was a good experience.

My truck was towed there since it wouldn't start. I suggested it was the alternator. They couldn't find a problem at first. Then they decided it needed a new battery. They changed that and did an oil and filter change that I did not request (and they should have seen that one had been done recently elsewhere). The truck would not start again a couple of days later after their servicing. This time I had it towed to McMann's in Underwood and their knowledgeable mechanics found that the problem was the alternator. Maybe they do a better job on servicing if you bought the vehicle from them. I will never go to Lakeside again.

Purchase of a 2020 Cadillac XT5 - Ed55
I recently purchased a new 2020 Cadillac XT5 from Surgenor Ottawa.
This is the 8th car I bought from Surgenor since 1998 and since then I always had the best service from the sales consultant Andre Naim.
Before buying every car, he will send to me all the documents in regards to the car specifications, financing, etc.... and won’t deliver the car to me until I am fully satisfied.
I never had any issues with Surgenor nor Andre.

On Wednesday, January 8th, 2020, I purchased a new 2019 Chevy Silverado High Country pickup truck. This dealership gave me a great purchase price on their very first offer; there was no need to go back and forth on the purchase price because they far surpassed that of the other dealers I had been in contact with. The transaction was flawless and the vehicle was ready, as promised, on Friday, January 10th. I initially dealt with Richard RALLON, a sales consultant who was very low key and pleasant to speak with. Most of my dealing after that were with Matt POTTER, who is their business manager. This gentleman was operating at the top of his game. He had excellent product knowledge and is extremely effective in his current role. I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with him and he represents Bolton Chevrolet at a very high level. I would without hesitation recommend this dealership to family and friends. It was worth the drive to Bolton!!

Biggest mistake I have ever made buying my truck there from day one it has been problem first I had a dent and scratch on it the first day I got I brought it back and they fixed it NOT I got it back with more scratches and my cluster fogged out to the point where I couldn’t see my Km while I drove at night 2nd week my transmission started slipping and all Chris could tell me is the car has to get used to my driving xxxxxxxxx other people who have the same truck have no complaints I have had the same problem for nine months now still have all the scratches my brakes are acting up on me locking I almost got into an accident because my truck stopped in the middle of traffic my emergency brake locked while I was driving I would tell Chris that and he just kept looking at me like I was an alien 👽 with snakes in my hair went in for an oil change and they scratched my truck some more when I called out Chris about it all he could say stop being so dramatic mind you this is my first brand new truck and I wanted to keep it new as long as I could but from the first day I have been cheated out of the experience of purchasing a new truck

Natalie who books is great! But there is a break due of communication after that. Make sure to speak with Bernie the head tech if you need something FIXED. I had to have a major part replaced that came in imperfect from the factory (that was on the car we bought) and upper management (Anthony) authorized for it to be replaced with another part that was also damaged, without my authorization! It took 3 trips to correct this and other issues. Despite speaking with the Service manager. I feel they cut corners to save time, if they need to. Too bad bec Doug in sales was great with us for the purchase.

I bought a new Buick Encore AWD in Peterborough! February 8...5 weeks later the AWD went out.... Took it to Boyer's Chevrolet in Bancroft for warranty service...no parts....1 week for delivery.... Now Going on 3 WEEKS! Still no part! Now I'm stuck at home... can't get out....too much snow for the car! No AWD! SHOULD HAVE GONE WITH DODGE!

I think when it comes to vehicle repairs we all know that things don’t always go smooth and even the best technicians don’t always get it right. However what really matters is how the repair shop deals with these situations. When this happens with the good shop that cares about their customers, they apologize for the inconvenience, they try to rectify the issue as promptly as possible, they even give you a discount for the aggravation if they did not diagnose the problem correctly and further repairs are required, or they don’t even charge you at all to correct something they did not do right in a first place. And this is even more so if you have been a loyal customer and provided them with the decent revenue over a number of years.
Well, don’t expect that at this shop. First of all don’t expect any apologies for the inconvenience. Also don’t expect them to rectify the issue as promptly as possible because their time is more important than yours and you will have to come back when there is an opening in their schedule. Also don’t expect any discounts or anything like that, in fact they will charge you again for the diagnostics that they failed to perform right in a first place. And if they still don’t get it right, they will do the same exact thing to you again. It is only when you escalate the issue to the management they would start taking things a little bit more seriously, though even then they will keep charging you money like nothing happened. And when they still don’t get it right and you finally refuse to keep paying for their incompetence, their General Manager has a nerve to tell you that they don’t work for free and if they can’t fix it you should not bother coming back. Seriously? Well I guess it explains the attitudes and the business practices of the whole shop. I think this person should be used as a training material to teach customer service representatives of what not to do in this job. I also wonder who would entrust somebody like that to run their business and tarnish it.
Oh, did I also mentioned that when they install the part that fails shortly after and needs to be replaced under warranty they don’t even tell you that and instead claim that problem is somewhere else, and of course charge you more money.
Bottom line, do yourself a favour and find a better shop to service you vehicle so you don’t end up in the same situation I have. And trust me these shops exist. I have been servicing one of my vehicles at Lakeridge Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ltd. In Port Hope for years and the way they have always dealt with any issues was impeccable often exceeding my expectations.

Paid well over $50 thousand for GMC Denali, Now that they have my money they have gone dark and don't respond to my e-mails regarding my plates from other vehicle and problems I'm having with the Denali. So disappointing as they seem they couldn't do enough for you. But once they have your money the niceness is gone. Truck wasn't detailed and not sure if it was even checked over. Still waiting for a reply soon, I hope. waited and sent J Gibbs another e-mail with no responce. wont deal with them again.
