"Bad experience, disappointed, not happy"

We decided to go back to jim wilsons to purchase another vehicle and trade in the old. We knew basically what we wanted, took a 15 minute test drive and made an offer. Pierre Jordon the sales rep was attentive professional and easy to deal with. We feel for him having to work with a business manager like that. The business manager Karlee was unprofessional. She greeted us in a rather phony manner. She talked down to us as if we didn't know anything. We are seniors now. We met with sales rep on Friday and finally tues we got a call loan approved. On Wednesday we were asked send proof of income. After that we were told keep your fingers crossed??? I said why she said its been 2 days now. Really the loan was approved they only wanted proof. Was that suppose to worry us? We questioned the interest just in case we could obtain a loan for a better rate. She didn't like that and went on rudely about how we should pick a cheaper vehicle under 10,000.00 Really? Telling us what we should buy. When I mentioned why is it we heard we could get a better rate elsewhere she went on and on and on about having 2 deals its against the law......which we didn't have. It took over 4 hrs to get the offer in the day we went because Karlee kept disappearing during the deal and one of the employees said she is probably sleeping. We were the only buyers in the showroom. It had been 4 business days now as Karly was also off the following business day. Finally our daughter drove us over found Karlee with exactly the same attitude and it was if she was doing us a favor and there is no way she would admit any failure or mistake on her part. Very unprofessional! My daughter retrieved our ownership for the trade in and we walked out. After wasting 4 business days of our time we are buying a newer vehicle now with a better interest rate so it worked out and we wont be recommending Jim Wilsons anymore.

"Purchased but not feeling happy or excited about it."

"Purchased but not feeling happy or excited about it." After many hours on the computer looking for cars with the features I wanted we went to see Impalas at your dealership and met with Pierre at Jim Wilson Chevrolet Buick GMC in Orillia. Their cars in stock did not have extra features wanted. Pierre a young personable salesman called us saying he found a 2018 with nearly all added features wanted. When we decided to buy he called saying it was sold then suggested a 2019 saying it had the features like the 2018 I wanted. After cancelling appointments with two dealers we went to purchase the car. On arrival we found it had only standard features that come with all Chevrolet Premiers no added features. Pierre said the extra features were not available for 2019 Impala Premiers ,I asked again about extra features such as convenience or compatibility packages and was told you would not find a 2019 with added packages these models. Between Pierre and my husband I was convinced it was a good buy, I told both of them that I was disappointed it didn't have added features (yes it was a good buy but without all features I wanted) so we purchased it. Instead of being happy and excited about our purchase I rode home with an uncomfortable feeling in the pit of my stomach (I guess you could call it buyers remorse) that I had settled for a car with less features than I was looking for and had my sights set on. I am mad at myself for settling for less and feeling disappointed and let down with Pierre and what I felt was misleading information. So now I am up in the middle of the night doing a review because I couldn't sleep thinking about it. For the above reasons I give a lower rating to this salesperson and dealer. Picked up car but only given one set of keys. While visiting son in London Hospital my wife dropped me off and continued to the hospital. She turned the car off and got out locking the doors to only realize that I had the key. She had to get a taxi to come where I was to get it and then return to hospital by taxi to get the car. We were told the key would be at the dealership to pick up on our way home the following Saturday. When we got there, there still wan no key available. My wife really misses extra features that she had in previous Lincoln and Buick. We are not very happy campers.

"Aggravating "

- Unhappy customer

I bought my truck from him wilsons and it's been an aggravating experience ever since. I had to chase to salesman for a response. My truck was originally sold with a crushed oil filter which caused a failure in the middle of no where and left me stranded. At 85,000kms it went for an entire bank of injectors, and during its visit had my tailgate dented. I've now been trying for three weeks to have a transmission fixed and cancelling a cross canada trip. While trying to have it diagnosed I was mis-guided into fixing other parts of the truck that were no where near the symptoms and guaranteed it was solved. Still no solution. I was told by the service department if my truck is unable to be back on the road within a day the dealership needs to provide me with a vehicle. So now that I have an appointment to have my transmission fixed, they tell me they have no car and they had no idea. So my repairs are delayed again to the point of almost being out of warranty. So after putting new parts on I didn't need and charging me for them I still have the same issues driving an ailing truck. Jim wilson claims to have 100% customer satisfaction, but when they send you a survey in your email, they kindly ask that if you cannot give them a perfect review to not even fill it out. How is censoring reviews legitimate? I will never buy another vehicle from the poorly guided business. I've never had so many issues trying to solve a problem or gotten the run around so many times by a business that fleeced me for a $4000 warranty. They do all they can to avoid warranty work.
