At first I felt good about them but not so sure now. - Disappointed
At first I felt good about them but not so sure now. I had them do a ceramic coating on the car at a cost of $1800.00 dollars that I paid for and they refused to give me the receipt. Under the front air dam was dirty under the rocker panels and rear diffuser was dirty as well you’d certainly think for the cost I paid don’t you think it would be at least washed…. I feel the ceramic coating was not done. So kinda negative feeling towards this dealership. I paid give me the receipt don’t you think?

These guys sold me a $5000 one year warranty on a used - Ikenna
These guys sold me a $5000 one year warranty on a used car. If you know nothing about cars, I would suggest not buying anything from this place. I am an immigrant and English is my second language, and it was my first car buy. At best these guys are dishonest sales people, at worst, they are flat out racist. I have never heard of any Canadian who bought a $5000 1 year warranty on any vehicle and I have lots of Canadian friends.

In shopping for a used Grand Caravan I test drove a Summit at Go Richmond. The sales guy I worked with was Mustafa Faryad. Unfortunately I bought a lower trim level car instead of the one they had but my experience in dealing with Mustafa and Go Chrysler was really, really good. Mustafa certainly worked hard to persuade me of the advantages of the car he had but it was a "no pressure" experience and the pricing they offered was very fair. He was very accepting and gracious when I chose to purchase a different vehicle. If you are looking for a Jeep or Chrysler product Mustafa at Go Chrysler is a great guy to see.

I test drove and ultimately bought a Grand Cherokee from Yousif Razook. Yousif as well as his sales managers and then the finance and insurance folks - all a real delight to work with. The pricing they gave me was very fair and the car was immaculately detailed when I went to pick it up. Really a great experience.......Thanks.

I have been dealing with Willie Dodge for years and have - murrrr
I have been dealing with Willie Dodge for years and have always been very satisfied with the service I have received there. Over the past few months I have had to visit their service department for a couple of minor issues and i serious issue. I have been so impressed the the quality of service from the service department. They are always friendly, there is never any wait and they always have the paper work prepared before hand. Once the service is complete, they always let you know when your car is ready to go. I definitely give them a 5 STAR rating and would not hesitate the recommend them to my friends.

Spent $110,000 on a brand new 2019 truck, did not get the options I asked for after waiting 3 month for the truck to arrive. Service has totally sucked!! Paid for life time oil change with an extra $1000 for synthetic, all good, but I have now moved from Nanaimo and the oil change package I paid for is only with their dealership and can’t be transferred to the city I need it. Would have been nice to know this before I paid all that money!!!!
I do not recommend dealing with Nanaimo Chrysler in any way shape or form!!!!
Unfortunately, the nozzles of my windshield washer broke. - Robin Hood
Unfortunately, the nozzles of my windshield washer broke.
I need new ones.
I went to the Dodge dealership and asked for quote how much it would cost to replace this two nozzles.
I got the quote and I was shocked.
1 nozzle = $113.35
The total was $320.82 incl. tax
A little bit a lot, don’t you think so?
I went home, opened the website of MOPAR, the official company for Dodge parts, which also supplies this dealership with wholesale prices for parts and discovered that the same nozzle would cost me only $64.14 if I would order them online.
Hm???????????????? Less than the half?????!!!!!!!
So, I ordered at MOPAR. The original replacement parts for less than the half.
I went to the dealership and let them know that I feel uncomfortable to place the order and asked if I can talk to the manager.
After my explanations why I will not be a customer anymore he explained me that they are a business, and they have to make money and the mark up (I call it rip off) is up to them.
Having a sustainable mark up is ok, but this is too much.
After that, I mentioned that I would like to share my experience on social media.
This manager brought me politely to the door and threatened me, if I do so, he will send me his lawyers to sue me for defamation of character.
He can try. I am not making a false statement when I am writing about what happened. I have proofs. No false statement.
I actually congratulate this manager to his successful business model. It just didn’t work with me.
BTW. After what happened I went to another dealer ship in the Valley and asked for another quote. They would have charged me even less than MOPAR. Only $64.04 per nozzle.
I am happy that I have compared prices.

Came from out of town to look at a truck, and couldn't make a deal. a week later they called and said they have a new offer, but refused to discuss it with me over the phone or email and said the only way they will tell me is if i drive 3 hours to them just to see the deal. I refused and they kept calling me saying they have a deal but they were persistent on me coming in there to see it, but still refused to let me know what the deal was over the phone. I have dealt with other dealerships over the years and they all will give their best pricing over the phone or by email. I was not impressed with their over calling and refusal to not give me any pricing unless i drove over 3 hours 1 way to find out what they could do. If looking for a vehicle I would recommend somewhere else
Absolute worst experience ever. - mbrenovations
Absolute worst experience ever.
My dodge ram with 68kms on it blew a transmission. They took 17 months to return it to me fixed. Refused to add the 17 months of passed warranty while it sat at their shop.
Service manager made a deal to do free service on another dodge product of mine, he no longer works there after 6 months and the new guy says he won’t honor our deal.
Do not trust this company or the vehicles it stocks. Dodge is a joke.
This was the worst service ever! - mthomasfolsom2016
This was the worst service ever! My Jeep was towed in for a very minor busing linkage problem and loose wire. Since it was after the holidays, fewer technicians, delayed inspection, and diagnosis overcharge, for a busing seal which cost $9.00 to $27.00, and charged labor of $350.00. The manager was rude and did not help me with anything except my wallet. Watch out for this one! It's worth it to have your vehicle towed somewhere reputable, but more importantly, communicates correctly with the customer. I need to say that the parts department was negligent in that they did not confirm receipt of the part and therefore caused further delay. Causing LORDCO a complaint for delayed delivery. I would not trust them.
From Terry Shaw to the shuttle driver, and all the other - wagnerjudi
From Terry Shaw to the shuttle driver, and all the other help I received FANTASTIC
Beautiful store and wonderful cafe with internet available as well as charging stations . I was travelling to Prince Rupert when my car broke down. They got on it and I left at 5 pm and felt sooo confident in the repair. I also received recommendations for further repair which I will have completed. A female alone on the highway can be a scary thing but thanks to everyone at Northland I felt confident and safe in my car. Again, wonderful dealership. Judi Wagner
Least helpful business I have ever dealt with. - cox.jeremy72
Least helpful business I have ever dealt with. First off I has a factory recall on my Dodge 1500 air bag. they did the air bag than charged me $75 to reset the airbag light telling me that the reset wasn't covered by the recall. Pretty sure that was a lie.
Daniel Chesney, the Service Advisor at Cranbrook Dogge,... - Jayde Cooke
Daniel Chesney, the Service Advisor at Cranbrook Dogge, was most helpful in my not so great situation. He was able to contact another garage in Calgary that had my car in for repairs and was able to save me money as my battery was under warranty. He went out of his way to ensure I got the right help! I highly recommend him to anybody needing assistance with their car.
If I could give 20 stars I would! - JaydeneandSharon
Stress free, no pushy salesmen, absolutely INCREDIBLE experience! They worked with me on my must haves and things I could compromize so that I walked out with my dream car! I learned so much about resale value and how the car loan process works and everything to do with buying a new car. My family has bought our last 6 vehicles from carter dodge and we will never go anywhere else. When my fiat (bought 2 years ago from carter) was stolen, carter was our first and only thought. The process was quick and stress free! Don’t go anywhere else, you won’t get nearly as good of an experience anywhere else. Thank you Gerry, Al, Paul and Pam! I can never thank you all enough.
Terrible. - echo432
Terrible. Salesman was great but management very sketchy. Won't give you straight answers on numbers for the deal. Walked away from it due to them trying to hide details.
This is absolutely a 5 star dealership, I am located in - jensen001
This is absolutely a 5 star dealership, I am located in Courtenay and am unable to drive any new or used detailed vehicles for 6 months due to extreme chemical sensitivities. Daniel and his team went above and beyond to not only bring me the financial paperwork to sign in Courtenay, They also brought the vehicle right to my doorstep at no charge. You take the word dealership to a whole new level, This didn't feel like a dealership, it felt like a family that cares about its business and customers, I cannot praise these guys enough, it really puts the meaning Above and Beyond in a whole new category. Highly Recommended,
Ken Jensen, Courtenay, British Columbia
They faulted an inspection list. - Stevenwrathwell
They faulted an inspection list. I was told that the car wouldn't be on the lot if it didn't pass all inspections.(they look at it and check a box, but push it out the door if it cost them money to fix it) After the purchase and hit a couple speed bumps in a parking lot a week later, I found a lot of noise in the steering and trumping sound. When I brought it in for service a locally owned mechanic found almost everything in the front suspension had no bushings and worn out especially the control arm. The head gasket was also damaged (not from the bump)and was why I smelled exhaust in the cab. It wasn't a pipe leak. They say becouse they didn't approve any cost that they are not responsible. So I returned it repaired at my cost. The vehicle is still a lemon, and has some issues, but we won't get into it. They have a shady side about them. Its known throughout the area. From 100 Mile to PG. Stay away if you want to save your money and aggravation.
Dealing with this place has been the worst experience - NeverNelsonChrysler
Dealing with this place has been the worst experience I've ever had with any business. Brought my car in for repair as it had a misfire. After 12 hours ($2,100!!) of diagnostic work, all they had to tell me was that I needed a new engine, but couldn't tell me why. I didn't believe it couldn't be fixed as it ran well besides the misfire, didn't use oil, the oil was clean, power and fuel economy was the same.....So I took it home. It had developed a massive oil leak while they had it that it didn't have before, so, because I hadn't learned my lesson yet, took it back to them. They said it needed an oil cooler, common problem. I told them to go ahead, another $1,000 bucks later, the leak is fixed. Go pick it up, I drive it for 5 seconds and another check engine code pops up. And the transmission won't shift properly. The code says low oil pressure and the transmission is in limp mode to protect the engine by not down shifting. They get back to me a week later, tell me to bring it in. I thought the new oil pressure sensor that came with the cooler was faulty. They did another couple hours of diagnostic work, told me it needed a new engine. But couldn't tell me why. And didn't try to change the sensor. So I drive it home, the oil pressure reading became totally erratic and went to 0 psi. Oil light comes on. I call up the oil temp, it's normal. I drive home, 35 minutes on the highway, with no indicated oil pressure. It runs fine. The temperature doesn't budge. Idling in my driveway, it's purring. When I go back and tell them this in person, I again suggest that maybe the sensor isn't any good. They tell me that they believe the sensor was correct and that I didn't have any pressure. I repeated how I drove for over half an hour at highway speeds, which would be impossible if that were the case. And they did nothing. Offered nothing. Insisted that I drove home with no oil pressure. So I left, and in the next few days changed the sensor myself, and voila, oil pressure was back. Call them back, explain how I replaced the sensor and oil pressure indication had returned. They seemed slightly embarrassed, and even went so far as to act as though they wanted to help me now.
They never did help me.
After seven months and no progress with Nelson Chrysler, I sold the car, to a friend, for $2,000. I had already bought another vehicle for my wife in the meantime since we couldn't drive the Dodge in the state it was left to us by Nelson Chrysler. The transmission was still in limp mode from a low oil pressure code. My friend fixed everything for $1,000 plus his time. When he opened up the engine to examine the rockers and lifters, the same components the dealership spent 12 hours diagnosing, he immediately saw that cylinder 3 had a bad rocker - it was obvious. This was also the cylinder that had the initial misfire that brought me to Nelson in the first place. He also noticed a loose oil galley bolt that had backed out almost to the point where it was going to fall into the engine. These are both well known issues with these engines. He tightened all the oil galley bolts, and replaced all the rockers and lifters by watching a video on YouTube. The oil pressure issue was solved when he replaced the brand new oil cooler (that Nelson just charged me $1,000 for) with an upgraded aftermarket unit. He's put 15,000 kms on it since then, with no check engine lights and no issues. Him and his wife love it. Not bad for a "blown" motor that Nelson quoted me $9,000 to replace. But generously offered to take it on trade....
Do not trust these people. Don't let them touch your vehicle.
Worst service you could ask for. - Chanda fontaine
Worst service you could ask for. My previous dealership on Vancouver island was way more respectful and treated me so well when taking care of my vehicle. Twice now at Haley dodge in gibsons I’ve had awful experiences and far from satisfied with my services. Please go anywhere but here or be ready to loose money and be treated like another number in and out of the door! my last experience I had to pick my vehicle up before it was even serviced because of how badly I was being treated I did not want to give them my business! Thanks for nothing Haley dodge
