Les is so interesting to listen to, if you are a car enthusiast and like to learn car facts, then he’s the guy for you, we went to every major truck dealership and no one had the knowledge he taught us customers about vehicles. Thanks Les!!! Love our Canyon!!!

Just amazing - Clint Bright
Best experience I've ever had, they appraised my trade in over email as I was out of town and ended up giving me even more for it when I brought it in! They worked really hard to give me the best deal possible and I will be coming back for every new vehicle I buy for the rest of my life! They even stayed open late on the may long weekend so I was able to get the truck that day. If your looking for a honest trustworthy dealership look no farther! Manager brad and salesman terry is who sold me my 2017 gmc canyon and i couldn't be happier!

Felt part of the family - Happy Silverado owner
The best experience we have had buying a vehicle Our salesmen Ryan and the rest of his team made us comfortable with no pressure but probably more important was the knowledge and professionion is what really wowed my wife and I. We love our new 3500 Silverado and happy we switched from FCA to GM . Thanks again for the great deal we received
Two happy customer! - Marko
From the moment my wife and I walked into the dealership to driving home in our new car, everything was done by the staff to make us feel welcome and that our business was appreciated. Especially we would like to thank Mary-Ann who welcomed us in a very professional and friendly manner. If there is one thing I cannot stand, then it's a pushy salesperson. That would make me want to leave a store immediately; however, dealing with Mary-Ann was a great experience because she was kind and knowledgeable. But also the other people we talked to at the dealership were very nice and helpful. And that is what I call excellent customer service. So if anyone is looking to buy a new car, I can really recommend this dealership.
service managers great, technical support poor - gmc
mechanical skills insufficient; simple repairs become very expensive. Probably due to lack of efficient trouble shooting. Detailing was done very poorly. (Refund was suggested). Had to wait for 3 hours for nothing.
Great service with attention to the customers needs - Brien
Came in for first service on my GMC Sierra hd 3500 Denali. Great customer service ! Everything was explained throughly. Friendly staff , nice to see you take care of your customers after sale of vehicle. Way to go Murray GM.
Great Service!! - robson5356
Just purchased a 8 passenger van for our company for Kimberly Kim at Dueck Downtown. She gave us the best service, prompt and allowed us to move through the process of purchasing quickly and not trying to make a all day process out of it (as we needed to be in and out quickly). When we needed a good deal and vehicle information she made sure we had it. Thank you Kimberly for your great service!
Excellent Advice and guidance - Doni
I had been shopping for a new vehicle for quite a while when I met with this Rep. He was very professional, and took the time to understand what I needed in a vehicle. Mike’s professional, no pressure approach allowed me to find the vehicle, I was looking for and am excited to drive. I really appreciated the time he took, to take me through all the smaller options my new vehicle has, so I can get the most of it!
Dont trust 150 point of inspection on used car! - Paulo
On 0ctober 5 i Bought 2010 buick black enclave cxl awd with 72,000 km. After signing the deal i drove it home for 11km from the dealer. Notice sound/ noice in the front end. My mechanic said it is probably a worn cv joint. I returned the car the next day. They promised me not to worry and they will look and fix it. After 5 days i returned and the sevice manager gave the key back to me. He knows the issue but didnt fix the car. He will let me drive the car without consern of the danger might happen to me and my family! I went straight to the manager and demanded a full refund. Service here is bad as their car! They wasted my time and energy!
Used Car Purchase - MigMang
We got a preowned 2009 Toyota Hybrid Camry just recently. During the presales check it was not disclosed properly by the saleman that the car only had one set of key. To our disapointment on the turn over, we were handed only 1 key. Jenner staffs have not been very helpful after this.
Very friendly and professional service! - Terri
I love my vehicle that I purchased from Pacific Chevrolet. Any time that I had a question or concern, I would call them and they were friendly and very helpful. When I did my annual tune up, they did a great job and my vehicle was clean and washed!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to purchase a new or used vehicle!.....or just for service too!
Leonard for the win again. - Bethany
Leonard is by far the best sales person we’ve ever dealt with. We bought a truck with him last year and discovered that it’s too small for what we needed (no fault of Leonard). Surprised him on Monday and told him we needed a bigger truck, he dropped everything to go find it for us. We left with our dream truck again. We’re loyal Laird Wheaton customers for life, and it’s all because of Leonard and his incredible customer service and knowledge.
You’re the best Leonard, Thanks again!!
Disappointed service - Dan
First of all - I spent about 5 hours at this place and they tried really hard to sell me a car - however, were not successful at all; also because of the lack of knowledge of the salesperson Chris. I appreciated his effort, however, he was not able to provide any details to any of the cars we tested. He talked about unnecessary features when we were in the car, but when we wanted to have details about the engine, transmission, or previous accidents, etc., he had no answer). Furthermore, he didn't seem like a very experienced driver, which made it complicated for him to understand when I was talking about driving comfort. ... He tried to overplay it with trying to win me as a friend, but this made me feel very awkward.
In the end we were willing to buy a car way out of our price range and he made an excellent offer; however his manager Art did not go with this deal. So after 5 hours at the dealership, testing several cars, finally making a decision and commitment to buy, we ended up with nothing. I felt they were playing us a lot and in connection with the lack of 'auto' knowledge, we decided not buy from them.
There are so many places nearby and we ended up with way a better service just across the street.
Easy exciting - Maddyxo
Today christy pattie from here made me feel welcome and excited for my purchase I was about to make. She gave me a great deal on my car an I wouldn't of been here if it wasn't for her

JUST A TOTAL NIGHTMARE FOR SALES AND SERVICE - Lou
Purchased a 2016 truck and salesman said told I could pick up the truck truck in 2 days because of prep and servicing. Came to pick up truck with salesman in attendance and did the insurance and vehicle transfer. We then noticed that windshield had a crack along the location of the windshield wiper arm. We both agreed that that was not there when I initially viewed it and test drove it. While not having taken the truck off the lot as yet, the salesman indicated that because it was now in my name, it would be at my cost to have it repaired. I suggested to speak to the sales manager about who should cover the cost and they agreed to cover the cost although to suggest I pay was a bit of a cheap shot from a reputable dealer. That evening I looked at what was serviced and I noticed the service included new wiper blades so I can pretty well believe that the service dept snapped the wiper arm on the windshield causing the crack. Then in two weeks after, the oil pressure warning light came on and stayed on. I contacted service and could not get my truck in for 8 days. Finally brought it in at 10:00 a.m..that particular day and took me 45 min. to finally get service and my courtesy car and go my way....much too long. Service dept called late afternoon...suggested nothing wrong with oil pressure and that it was a computer glitch. That took 7 hours to determine. Then wanted to keep the truck overnight to test drive in the morning to determine if glitch had been fixed. Called next morning and they now believed it needed a pressure sensor replacement. They called mid afternoon that problem had been fixed. Picked up the truck and within 2 minutes or so, the warning light was back on..No, I did not turn around to bring it back as I was so pissed off with Preston....so 2 days in service and nothing achieved..just a bad experience,...have decided that Preston Chev. Is not a place for me.
Not an optimum experience - heavydart
My first experience with Barnes Wheaton North Surrey was an attempt to get a damaged seat belt replacement. I ordered a new seat belt from the service/parts department. After two weeks without any word I followed up only to learn there was no record of the order. I reordered the seat belt. Two days later I received notification that the part had arrived and I went to pick up the long awaited seat belt the next day, but the service/parts person could not find the order. At that point I gave up and ordered the part by phone from another GM dealership who BTW, once hearing my story, mailed the seat belt to me with free shipping.
Many months later I received a recall notice from GM and thought I would give Barnes Wheaton NS another try. My first attempt to make an appointment was online. I carefully followed the instructions and sent off a completed email. After two days with no result I attempted to contact the service/parts department by phone, four times! Each call was diverted to voice mail and I dutifully left my contact information. I never did receive a call back! Nuff said. I drive to a dealership in Burnaby for car my service. A greater distance with heavy traffic on occasion, but worth it.
Community minded dealer, great service, great overall - dougley11
Have had a blast - This place is a great place to work and do business. they are very community minded and always go that extra mile.
Amazing dealership - Buyer
If anyone is looking for a great vehicle I recommend going to Salmon Arm GMC. I had nothing but good service, Garrick Gray was a very helpful salesmen and got the deal done quick. All around great experience I would go back
Horrible finance service - Jessica
One of the finance managers, Frank, was incredibly rude and condescending after we declined to purchase extended warranty. Because of him we will not return.
Would rather have the flu - Atsera
Second time dealing with this company. Outside of having to deal with them for warranty I would never go there. Don’t trust them with your time or money. Use your local mechanics.
Too bad they don't have negative stars to rate this place. - jaynej
I wouldn’t go here for Service on a vehicle unless you absolutely have to.
The Wednesday before the Canada Day long weekend, our truck broke down on Highway 1 just outside of Hope on the first day of our two week camping trip (we had our trailer hitched up to the truck). We had had the truck serviced in Victoria before we left, so it was a surprise when the check engine light came on and the transmission started acting odd. After we stopped to check what was wrong (at the commercial vehicle weigh station) we were unable to get the truck in gear again. We called Gardner Chevrolet thinking we were lucky we were so close to a town with a Chev dealer.
We then called Hope Towing to get us to the dealer. Pete was great and was able to put the truck on the flatbed and hitch up the trailer to take with us. Victor on the Gardner service desk suggested that we could drop our trailer behind their shop while they looked at the truck, so this is what we decided to do (even though Pete suggested dropping the trailer off first at a campground down the street). We were encouraged by Victor’s suggestion and thought we’d be back on our way later that day (or that they would at least be able to read the code so we would know what the problem was).
When we finally got to the dealer (around 1pm), I made a remark that this wasn’t the greatest start to our holiday. Victor just snidely replied “You’re not the only ones here”. He then asked if we’d like him to call the campground for us – without even mentioning when they’d be able to get to look at our truck. We then had to get Pete to re-hitch up our trailer and tow it to the campground (at a cost of an additional $80!) – especially frustrating as we could have had him drop it on the way to the dealer and the extended warranty would have picked up the cost.
We waited all day for Victor or someone from the Service department to call us and at least let us know what the problem might be (at this point we weren’t sure if it was our transmission or just an electronic component). We even stopped by an hour or so later to pick up something we had forgot in the truck and were only greeted with a seemingly spiteful “How’s the camping?” remark. (Especially galling as we had reservations with our daughter and her husband to be camping outside Osoyoos and were then supposed to be heading for a family reunion the next day in Cranbrook.) No news on the truck or when/if they would be able to look at it.
We spent a sleepless night wondering how we were going to get moving again and if we would get to our family reunion on the Canada Day weekend. The campground we were in (and likely every campground in the province) was completely booked for that weekend and we had no way to move our trailer anyway. We phoned the Service department as soon as they opened the next morning and had to leave a message as they were too busy to come to the phone. When they still hadn’t called back an hour later, we tried again. This time they told us “It’s all fixed.”. While this was good news, it would have been nice if they could have looked at it/fixed it the day before (especially as they only had to change out the transmission control module – which took a very short time in the end). Overall, the worst service I have ever received at a car dealer and a thoroughly horrible experience.
Incompetent - Carowner123
I've had two bad experiences at this dealership. The first when they quoted me a price on a vehicle where I believe they deliberately excluded the GST amount on a quoted printed price. Only a week after a told them "No" did they call back to offer me the price they originally asked.
The second incident was when they agreed to fix one of my vehicles covered under warranty from another vehicle make. They assured me from day one that everything would be covered and made no mention I would have to pay anything out of pocket. After a month, they finally fixed the vehicle then gave me a $1500 bill because, according to them, they didn't have the right tools to replace the part. They should've called me before-hand to inform me it would cost out of pocket before completing work on the vehicle but they didn't. What kind of dealership tells you the price of a job after they completed the work!!!???
Incompetent, rude, sneaky. Take your pick.
terrible - Author101
They didn't complete the services asked, charged for an oilchange not requested. And stuff listed as found on inspection was false (proved by anothercompany)
