These guys are about people not cars
What I mean by that is there more interested in putting people into vehicles that fit there needs and budgets. I was encouraged to try several vehicles in my price range and ever after I made my selection we revisited all of my needs to make sure they were met long before I put pen to paper to seal the deal. When ordering an upgrade for my vehicle the sales rep Jackie King in parts and accessories made sure I was satisfied with my choices in purchase.

My 2014 Buick Encore wouldn't start but I received a boost and brought to the dealership Saturday night. I received a phone call first thing Monday morning, and everything was taken care of by 2:30 that afternoon. Just needed a new battery. They checked everything and replaced my battery. I appreciate that were able to take care of everything so fast and didn't make the service epic. Highly recommend. Honest, fast and great service

I had my vehicle there for an oil change and transmission flush. The service took 1.5hrs. The bill was $540.00. I was shocked. When I reviewed the bill, only $143.00 had been charged out for parts and they had charged me $322.00 for labour for 1.5hrs!!! Not impressed and will never go back.

Service Centre - 2017 Silverado Mike
Very disappointed with my recent visit to Island Chevrolet. Made an appointent to get an oil change done on my 2017 Silverado, entered the Service Department and was totally ignored bybthe Service Staff. Literally stood in the Service Department for 5 minutes and was ignored by staff as they continued conversations amongst themselves. Took my truck into the Ford Dealership...wow...whatva difference. Should have bought a Ford!!

My SUV has been serviced at Murray GM for years and I have always been happy with the service. Recently my SUV had two separate instances of intermittent problems that were a real mystery because they could not be reproduced on demand. Darren and the service team persisted and solved both unusual problems. In addition, it did not cost me a fortune.

They gave me fair price on my Chrysler 200, when ICBC failed to show up to do my insurance due to computer system failure they were quick to give a rental car so I could get to work on time and return after work to do the insurance and plates. Had a problem with vibrations in steering wheel and under the front end due to tires needing balancing but they were quick to fix the problem the next day. I appreciated Kris as he seems to be a very sincere and honest salesman which is pretty rare today! So yes definitely recommend Kris to handle any of your new or used car purchases.

The sales person is genuinely helping me locate an older model pickup for me to trade up and is not worried about making sales on brand new vehicles this in turn helps me keep my financed term shorter and able to acquire the model I'm after instead of trying to sell me a pickup that's has an exorbitant price, we're still looking mind you but she has been putting alot of effort on my behalf which I appreciate

Kimberly was our salesperson. If you want to purchase a car and don’t have time for sales pitches I recommend this place. I knew what I wanted before I arrived so it was a matter of deciding which car and the difference in features.
I dealt with this dealer before and they did not have a problem telling me straight that they did not have a scrap it certificate last year which is not my experience with other dealers. Who pretended to have a certificate which miraculously disappeared when arrived to look at the car.
So when the new certificates were issued this was the first place I returned to buy my car here.
Kimberley is very intelligent and I appreciate that is a salesperson.

This review is particularly with delivery of a "brand new" Chevy Volt. I got there on Sunday noon and sealed the deal with the sales rep. The vehicle will be prepared (wash, clean, polish, etc) for pick up the next day after work. It's a brand new 2018 Volt. Though I got it January 2019.
So I got there after work and showed me the car. This is my 5th car to buy brand new so I know what to look at or what to inspect. I noticed there are a lot of swirls and scratches (some are deep) caused by their detailer washing brush. I mentioned that to the sales rep and he assured me that it will be polished by a expert detailer to remove those defects while we're doing all the paper works.
It was already dark when we finished and I was told that the car has been polished and scratch free. I trusted him since its already dark and I didn't have enough light to verify it so I drove the car back home.
The next day, I was about to drive it to work and I noticed scratches some are deep and long, lots of swirls as well. I was so disappointed. Also, I opened the hood and the hatchback door and there are mud accumulations. The whole surface of the car is rough (contaminants accumulation due to being stock in the lot for sometime) that means no polishing has been done on it at all! I notified the sales rep and sent him some photos of it. He asked me to bring it back and have it polished again. I declined!
I just lost my trust to them. To me, I've given them second chance already. Going in there is just a waste of time.
Not to mention, it's brand new ands its got 71km in it. I asked him if this is a demo and I was told no. I thought it was, use to drive test for their potential buyers.
The main reason I don't recommend this dealership is the way they deliver the car. It's a brand new, supposed to be delivered brand new.
To be fair Zaheed, the sales rep, is a nice guy. It’s just the detailer failed everything.
Go somewhere else! No work quality. Full of lies.

Uneducated service - nothappy
After purchasing several vehicles from this dealership since Don Carr, i will not ever purchase a vehicle from here again. Brought truck in for service and was returned with a broken transmission cooler line. After much arguing they didn’t fully accept responsibility and informed that these fail regularly. They proceeded to put a new faulty cooler line in took 6 weeks , and returned my truck with a damaged air conditioning condenser, empty and non functioning way to go guys. My direct response to Mr. Barnes is and he does know me thru HOG group is i will never buy any vehicle from a Barnes dealership again!!!!!!!!! Harley or Chevy
