Total used car salesman scammers. Do not give them any deposit cause you won’t get it back. They kept mine after I saw how bad the vehicle was when I went in to purchase it. Finally got my new truck and worth the wait. Supply is still a nightmare in a lot of industries, including the one I work in. 10 out of 10 I purchased a used vehicle back in Nov from this amazing dealership, the exsperience was already an outstanding one, a couple months of owning it an there was a problem I encountered. I contacted them and they called me back right away got me in right away and took care of everything! And it that wasnt enough they even cleaned my vehicle for me , that was an added cherry on top. I reccomend this dealership and service team 100% You cant get any better than Island Chevy Buick GMC. I live mid Island and I will make the drive to have service like this over anyonelse ! BLOWN AWAY! What a great group of people!! After searching up and down the island for the right truck, I was drawn to these fine humans on a recommendation from What a great group of people!! After searching up and down the island for the right truck, I was drawn to these fine humans on a recommendation from a good client of mine and well… one truck in particular, lol I’m from north island. So I enquired online about options, financing etc. I was called the very next day and had a great chat, all questions answered. So I agreed to bring my trade down and look at the truck. From start to finish. They really took care of everything. This was a special purchase for me, almost a “levelling Up” moment. They made me and my daughter feel totally comfortable, weren’t aggressive or pushy. But overly helpful and even excited for you when you get what you want. From them !? All very sincere too. My wife and I went in to see an advertised Chevy Volt. Hands down worst dealership on the island … ordered a new GMC half ton , it arrived 4 months later. Told them I work and can come down on weekends only, but have family staying at my house on the thanksgivin GMC half ton , it arrived 4 months later. Told them I work and can come down on weekends only, but have family staying at my house on the thanksgiving weekend. So I would come down the following Saturday, then get numerous phone calls and texts saying we can’t hold this truck without communication.I clearly explained I would be coming down the next weekend. Then Tuesday morning after the long weekend I get a picture of my 1000$ deposit refunded. This dealership doesn’t care about customer or family values , only care about there next sale. More

I went to Island GMC one day in September (2022), just to "have a look" at what Island GMC/Chevrolet had in stock, and see what the fuss was about GMC 1 Ton HD trucks. I was met at the front sales desk "have a look" at what Island GMC/Chevrolet had in stock, and see what the fuss was about GMC 1 Ton HD trucks. I was met at the front sales desk by David Ainsbury and Kevin Dunlop and it was clear they had a few trucks to look at. David quickly took over to show me two Seirra 3500 HD diesel trucks that fit my bill. A couple of test drives answered the question around "the fuss about GMC trucks" in my mind. One of them was just perfect for my specific truck needs. I wanted to buy local; after some good ol' arm-wrestling we settled on what is now my new Sierra 3500 HD Crew Cab. David was responsive to my questions, quirks and specific truck needs and it was good to deal with him - an "experienced, wise, man" - close to my age, who understood what I was trying to achieve. Kevin (as Sales Manager) was there along the way and was honest as we got to the final bits of the deal, accommodating where he could. Good job gentlemen, thank you. Thanks very much as well to Erika Sage who was very efficient with all the Finance components of the transaction. She understood (and could easily explain to me and my wife) the terms and conditions for the optional bits - the extended warranty, maintenance, OnStar, and other niceties. Day of delivery was just as I thought, and I drove away with a smile on my face! More
