The Salesman Brandon was nice but always bouncing between multiple customers. Felt incredibly rushed. I know what I wanted but help was limited at best. They had to get a car from Maple Ridge VW for me. 2014 VW Jetta, Diesel. To be clear, the car is great and a joy to drive.
However, in the rush to finalize on Dec 31st, no overall prices were discussed just managed into the budget. Rush rush, whirlwind, push push. There is a lot more to this, but the Manager Dan, did help make it right, but very reluctantly bordering on rude. Also, because I had a job that was primarily driving I got the one year preferred warranty.
June comes around and the Particulate filter was clogged and needed repair. I went to Maple Ridge, spoke with James. We tried to find the best time to come in and he promised up and down he would call back with times. He never did. Instead Coquitlam VW fixed it under the VW Diesel callback issue. Also at that time the fuel gauge was being intermittently weird. Fast forward to Now and the Fuel gauge works half the time. Took it back to Coquitlam who informed me it requires repair. Told them I have a 1 year warranty from Maple Ridge Chrysler. They looked into it and apparently the warranty is 1 year of 20,000 km whatever comes first. I'm at 23,000
No one told me it was limited by distance, just the year. More missing information from Maple Ridge. Had i been told that. Red Flags would have gone up, and yes everyone was told I had a driving job, it was on the credit application.
After numerous phone calls to Maple Ridge, getting a call back was a nightmare. I will call you in 20 minutes. No call. I will call you back in a little bit. No Call. This continued.
Eventually Dan called back after me calling them again Multiple times. I was told if I could get the car to them quickly he will TRY and get it fixed under good will. I say try because I would have to get them the car, from Burnaby, and maybe they can fix it under good will No guarantees. So go out there, have them look at it, and they may NOT fix it, so whats the point of going through that?
If you want Honesty, transparency and service, NOT the place to go. Don't waste your time or money.

Visited Cranbrook Dodge and was greeted by Joe, who answered all of my questions in a straight forward manner. I felt confident in his knowledge. Joe was excellent to work with, and when it came to needing help from management, the manager, Steve was there to satisfy all of our needs
We felt we were treated honestly, fairly and with respect by the staff there, and will absolutely buy another car from them and refer them in the future.

This is one dealership to avoid. Looking at some of the reviews by others on many different sites I see I am far from being the only bad reviewer. Save yourself the horrible experience with them and choose another shop. Definite issues at this one!!!
My terrible experience at willowbrook Chrysler - Jc
My first experience with this dealership was not too bad but they did not honor my brother in law or our referral bonus claiming of no record of this and claiming no one ever had. The sales rep claimed he was not made aware of this even though it was the first thing we said after introducing ourselves and mentioned a couple times after. This should have been a red flag for me on how the reps at this dealership pays attention to the customers.
The second experience with this dealership was straight up terrible. We were on vacation and a sales rep was vary persistent on us to come in and trade our vehicle for a new one becouse they were so close to breaking a store record in new car sales and promised extra incentive and claimed they had an awesome referral bonus which was a load of crap as we seen in the past of them not honouring before. We thought we would give them a second chance and told them we would come in. What a mistake that was.
I was not impressed after dealing with the sales rep. He was vary friendly and nice dont get me wrong about him, he just didnt listen to me after explaining a couple things to him at the beginning. Completely dumbfounded being told how i was going to be doing things for the sale and then having to do things another direction even though i stated how i wanted to do things. I may not be a car salesmen but its not my first time buying a new vehicle and i have never been pushed into a sale like that ever with no consideration to what i stated from the beginning.
Now for the test drive to take home for the night. Never have i once had to leave a dealership and have to worry about running out of gas. We left the dealership and managed to make it to the gas station barely a block away as it started to stutter pulling in. Also found that to be a little ridiculous and no sort of compensation was offered for returning the vehicle with gas actually in the tank. After coming in the next day everything was just beginning to be too much and my wife and i just simply had enough as we never had an experience like that before.
After all that another sales rep a couple weeks later sends me text messages to come in just like the last rep had and i had explained in a text what had happened and she straight up did not reply and ignored the message. Then again a couple weeks later some one attempting to bring me in for a sale. I already had the "5 star treatment" and this was getting to be too much.
I then posted a review on there facebook page and i regret removing it as now i cant repost it on there page. From that review there customer care manager reached out to try to resolve the issue. not too sure what exactly she was wanting to resolve, i assume it was the lousy review so i hade gone ahead and deleted it thinking i would give them third chance. I told her i just thought id like to share my experience at Willowbrook Chrysler and believe the staff should keep track of who they have recently contacted as i was not one to normally complain and leave negative reviews but come on. How many other people have they contacted by different people every couple of weeks apart from each other?
Again no response but was forwarded to the the general manager. That didnt solve or do anything other then just to confirm how poorly there sales reps are and how the test drive was improperly set up. I was not looking to get anything out of the manager just wanted to tell him everything so they could improve themselves as this dealership is lacking professionalism and proper work etiquette.
He then tries to throw a $200 credit at me to make me happy but that just upset me even more. As he sends me this message my wife checked her e-mail and i couldn't believe it but there finance manager was trying to lure her in. I dont care about money or free things. There staff go on how easy there job is pretty much bragging how good there job is and clearly they dont care about the people that they deal with. Clearly there staff has gotten to comfortable with this "easy job" where they dont pay attention to detail or the customers and just focus on the commission.
They claim they will treat you like family and if thats how they treat family then i dont want any part thanks.

I was told, when I tried to return my vehicle,
To "Stop paying for it and let the bank take it",
And "We can get you into another car no problem".....
The owner, had the nerve to tell me that they would only pay $15,000 on a repo for my $40, 000 car..... Like she was throwing it in our faces, practically laughing about it....
So go ahead, buy a vehicle from these liars and thieves.... You'll get screwed..... And not in a good way....

Got denied for a 2 year lease on a new 2019 big horn Ram. Manager informed me I had to come in for my refund of 2000$ deposit via cheque. I asked why I couldn’t get a refund on my visa on which the deposit was charged. He said I’d have to speak to the accountant Monday(on Saturday). Accountant would not respond to my texts, calls or voicemails ALL DAY Monday. Tuesday I call back frustrated and annoyed and the accountant says I need to call the manager. The manager says we can refund the visa over the phone, but then realizes the cheque(which I never agreed to) was already issued and I’d have to come in to get it. The back and forth between manager and accountant was annoying enough, but then telling me one thing and immediately flipping to another is even more frustrating. The big question is, for EVERY refund I’ve ever had, it was to the original form of payment: visa to visa, cash to cash, cheque to cheque. The footwork, the phone tag, the misinformation, the runaround has been EXTREMELY unprofessional and unhelpful. Would not recommend this dealership.

I brought my truck in for service because there was an oil leak. The first day it didn't even get looked at. Once it finally got in the second day the service department phoned to tell me that I was low on oil. So they topped it up and told me to keep an eye on it. I ask them to find a oul leak???

having dealt with this dealership for the past ten years and purchasing 4 vehicles in total, the last experience was a disaster. Salesman made false claims about options on the truck we bought. I was working out of town when my wife picked the vehicle up. Complained on several occasions and the promise of “ we’ll do something to make it right” never happened. Then they have the nerve to invite me down as I have a “high demand vehicle” to try to get me to upgrade a year later. Won’t even use th for service.

its too bad you even have to select a star cause the owner and management don't even deserve that ....they have staff that work there xxx off and go out of there way to make the customer happy and then management goes and messes everything up ....twice I have tried to purchase a vehicle from them and been screwed right around ...thankfully there is dealers out there that will go out of there way to get the customer what they want so ill stick to business out of town...when the owner was confronted about the problem he was very foul and rude..
