Awsome experience. - pops
Our car had problems with shifting in 3-4-5th-gears. It was shuddering and vibrating badly. We went for a road test with the trans tech and confirmed the condition. Our extended warranty had expired but our service advisor talked to the GM warranty people and got us covered. The warranty people said to take the trans apart which was done and the trans was damaged beyond repair. The trans was then replaced with a new unit as well as the drive line that had a seized joint.
All this work was done under the extended warranty and we only had to pay the deductible cost.
My wife and I were totally surprised by this excellent service and recommend any one to take their vehicle there.

I had a great experience with Wood Wheaton! My family has been buying from this dealership for years and they never fail to find options that fit our needs. Always friendly faces when you go to Wood Wheaton!

mazing customer service
I am generally skeptical when it comes to car salesman. When I met with Rob King and his Father Al King my skepticism was squashed
These guys are about people not cars
What I mean by that is there more interested in putting people into vehicles that fit there needs and budgets. I was encouraged to try several vehicles in my price range and ever after I made my selection we revisited all of my needs to make sure they were met long before I put pen to paper to seal the deal. When ordering an upgrade for my vehicle the sales rep Jackie King in parts and accessories made sure I was satisfied with my choices in purchase.
They are the real deal from top to bottom
Please if your looking go talk to them before you make a final decision and tell them William send yah

Positive outcome...Many thanks Jamie Reynolds. - Lynne
Jamie made the process of buying our new car painless; he was informative and to the point without giving the expected and annoying sales pitch., an important aspect for me, especially as it was my husband who was stressing the need for a new car. I had been fine with my old one! Patience was certainly needed for this sale to happen. Once the decision was made, yes, my husband wore me down , Deanna, one of the nicest office personnel you are likely to meet, efficiently did the necessary paperwork and our new electric Bolt was to arrive a few days later.
Pick up day and I have to admit, I was dreading the usual, tedious information overload one gets, but Jamie focused on getting me settled and on the road to experience my new adventure. His philosophy was to give the essential information with the ability to call him anytime If or when I had a question...
Thank you Jamie I very much appreciated your ability to read my needs.
PS... I am really, really enjoying my new new electric Bolt... easy and fun to drive...
Always helpful and never disappoint! - Jeff871

Bad Experience - SHUMEI
I had horrible experience here st Murry GM Abbortsford. My advice to people whom looking to buy a vehcle is to stay as far as possible to this place. The owner has a unprofessional and horrible attitude towards us and was very unhelpful when we run into trouble with the car he sold us.
We bought a 2019 Cruze in Janurary 2019. About 2 months later, it had 7000km, approx, when the car suddenly shaking and would not accelerate and just about to quite. We brought it back to the dealership and find out that the piston broke in the engine. They are going to repare the engine and replace the piston. Engine failure is a big failure for a car. I asked if they could replace the engine with a new one because this one is defective and because we have just bought a new car now with a repaired engine. The owner told me it is under warrenty and insisted to repare the engine with a new piston. 2 weeks gone by there were not word from them. I called GM Canada to see if they could give us a new engine, so the dealer could put in the car for us. We bought a new car, and now it is a new car with a repaired engine. The GM Canada didn't get anywhere with the dealership either. It turned out that the owner "believes it is the best suited option." He was also angry at me for calling the GM Canada, but I was just doing my best trying to help myself. He went as far to tell me that even if GM send me a new engine he will have to "mark it up and make money on it", he said it " it cost money and time to install the engine in the car" but later he said GM pays for the job under warranty. When asked why would he say it cost money to him and why would he mark up on the new engine (if there is one coming for me) he said he was just "making a point". I think whatever point he was making the costume satisfaction was not one of them. As for the best option he recommended, he can not at least deliver on that: there has not been any update from them on our car, and our car is still sitting in the dealership to date. Right now GM is closing the plants and restructuring and fighting for its survival, I think they should first of all take a good look at the dealerships and sort the ones like this guy out of the system. How many doors being closed by this person, I do not believe he is only like this way to me, I think this is the way he conduct his business. I think this is just the way he is and there is nothing you can do to him because, by the time you realized what is going on you have spent your money and bought a car from him and your car is in his garage parked and broken. He told me that I have to speak to a district manager, whom he can not give me the contact info, he also refer to the person speak to me from GM as "your Syed (that persons name)" I have to point out to him that it was not my Syed, it was just I called and that person answer the phone. Such is the bad attitude, like he can just screw you and what can you do about it...and he is right, there is nothing I can do. But he is wrong in that he thinks there is nothing anybody can do, there is one thing we can do and it is fatal, we can stay away. We can tell every one else to stay away. What a horrible place! You ruined for people whom trying to support the domestic industry.
Extremely poor service - Jr
Brought Terrain in for our first oil change . I had made an appointment for the service. I started to question what was happening with the car after 1-1/2 hours. I was told it was getting my a wash.l went to look for it and it was sitting in the far bay. I went back and questioned her again was told they would be ready soon. I saw my car finally having its service. It had to be well over 2 hours for this oil change. The car wash they gave it was horrible. I have complained to the General Manager but he has never contacted me. I won’t be returning there.
Excellent Problem Solving - dbking2004
My SUV has been serviced at Murray GM for years and I have always been happy with the service. Recently my SUV had two separate instances of intermittent problems that were a real mystery because they could not be reproduced on demand. Darren and the service team persisted and solved both unusual problems. In addition, it did not cost me a fortune.
Excellent sales service from Kris Patterson - Robin
They gave me fair price on my Chrysler 200, when ICBC failed to show up to do my insurance due to computer system failure they were quick to give a rental car so I could get to work on time and return after work to do the insurance and plates. Had a problem with vibrations in steering wheel and under the front end due to tires needing balancing but they were quick to fix the problem the next day. I appreciated Kris as he seems to be a very sincere and honest salesman which is pretty rare today! So yes definitely recommend Kris to handle any of your new or used car purchases.
Excellent customer service - Dallas
The sales person is genuinely helping me locate an older model pickup for me to trade up and is not worried about making sales on brand new vehicles this in turn helps me keep my financed term shorter and able to acquire the model I'm after instead of trying to sell me a pickup that's has an exorbitant price, we're still looking mind you but she has been putting alot of effort on my behalf which I appreciate
Ruined my credit to make a sale - Steveccs
Be careful with this dealership. Bernard from the finance office told me he didn’t run my credit report and then said Scotiabank ran it once come to find out he actually ran it 8 times and Scotiabank 4 times. I asked him to correct it he refused and ignored all further emails from me. This really hurt my credit but they don’t care they made the sale. Feel scammed.

A very positive experience - Bolty
This review is long overdue. My partner and I jokingly went on an electric car test drive date, we had no intention of buying a new car and in fact our Jetta had just gotten repaired. After test driving a couple of different electric vehicles we actually ended up purchasing one. It was a totally spontaneous decision and there was absolutely no pressure to buy. Ryan Sykes was the salesman who helped us along - he was very easy going and accommodating, and it really felt like a family friendly dealership. We had literally a day for all the paperwork to go through, because of the various deadlines - work as well as government grant and token applications, and Ryan and Nicky made it happen smoothly and efficiently. We sat witness to the numerous phone conversations made on our part, and we were thoroughly impressed at the speed and efficiency at which it all came together. There was no sales pitch - just straight up readiness to help. Thank you very much for making this a good experience and being good people - I definitely recommend.

I went from a Chevrolet Equinox to a GMC Terrain SLE new Clearance model.
They go out of their way on an individual basis with good listening skills to help you. I felt like I could take my time without pressure from the Sales Department. My questions were answered truthfully and in detail. Also the fact that they have various departments each being skilled workers and well organized has impressed me alot. The communication skills are very effective and response both in person and over the phone for additional questions has been appreciated. I feel that I am in good hands helping me to come to a decision on what to choose for my next vehicle and continue to go back there for any future purchases or services such as parts department. Each person has very good knowledge of the vehicles being sold and also being repaired with a sense of good teamwork there..
couldn't diagnose a bad alternator. - napier
1999 oldsmobile aurora charging light came on voltage went down to 10 volts. i was near laird so took it in. they said it was a thermistor that was no longer available. i looked up on the internet that all you had to do was either short it out or put a 1,5 k resistor in line to check the charging. they said that they would not do that because they would be liable and could sue them. later i found out that blackies in duncan had two of them and i asked what they wanted for them. they gave them to me because they were of little value. after a 400 dollars given to laird for this diagnoses i had it towed home which cost another 300 dollars. their rate is 130 dollars an hour. taking it to a 80 dollar an hour garge the put an alternator in in less than two hours and has been fine ever since. they said everything on laird's assessment was false. never recommend them.
Great customer service - Mica
Tami was very efficient and dealt with our truck in a fast and prompt manner
We would go back there for further service or to buy a newer truck
They only do the bare minimum on a service. - nobody
When I take my pickup in for service they don't make you feel very important. They want to sell you everything for a premium price but don't want to give anything back. When we take our car in for service at another dealer in town we get it back spotless inside and out. This is why I will be looking for service elsewhere in the future.
Do NOT Trust the Certified Pre-Owned Inspection... - Wayne3395
Carter GM has to one of the most incompetent dealerships I have ever dealt with. Do not trust their Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Vehicle Report, they just check off boxes in these fraudulent reports (mine was anyway). The false report was done by Stacy Fillon (9229) and Kam Mak (7921), so called 'technicians'.Sales management, Linda McCormack, does not communicate effectively (i.e. doesn't respond for days) and dodges accountability especially when profit is on the line. They also choose profit over personal, public, and vehicle safety. The picture below is what they consider 'OK/Acceptable'. Yes, those are the cords showing thru the bald front tires. This vehicle PASSED their CPO 'inspection.' Just getting them to do what there were supposed do was a frustrating exercise, not to mention doing more damage... My vehicle is a C7 Corvette, which I purchased in June 2019. You'd think they'd know how to service it... not so.
Terrific - Brian
I have been a customer at this dealership since 1993. In this period I have purchased 7 new vehicles from the dealership, two since the dealership was purchased by Bannister. In addition all my servicing, oil changes, etc. have been completed by them. I am always fully satisfied with the work done by the service department and I can only think of one occasion where I had to go back because the work was had not been completed properly. I would highly recommend the dealerships service and sales dept for any of your automotive needs.
Uneducated service - nothappy
After purchasing several vehicles from this dealership since Don Carr, i will not ever purchase a vehicle from here again. Brought truck in for service and was returned with a broken transmission cooler line. After much arguing they didn’t fully accept responsibility and informed that these fail regularly. They proceeded to put a new faulty cooler line in took 6 weeks , and returned my truck with a damaged air conditioning condenser, empty and non functioning way to go guys. My direct response to Mr. Barnes is and he does know me thru HOG group is i will never buy any vehicle from a Barnes dealership again!!!!!!!!! Harley or Chevy
Extremely Happy - Thomashall959

poor customer service - jodydavids
I brought my 2014 Silverado 1500 in for a service because of a bulletin sent out by GM Canada regarding the brake boosters. I called in regards to bringing it in and no had no idea of what I was talking about. After I made the appointment I brought it in and they informed me that it was not a recall and so if they didn't see anything wrong I would be charged 170 for the diagnostics. I dropped it off at 7:30am and then received a call at 11am informing me it needed to be replaced and that they did have the part and could install it. I informed them I would need it back by 4 as I was off work then. I was told by the advisor it should be done 3pm and 4pm. I called them at 3:20pm and I was informed it wouldn't be ready until 4:45. I told them that I had to pick up my son and that doesn't work. She told me that it was on the hoist and there wasn't anything she could do about it.
After picking up my truck at 4:45 I asked to speak to the service manager and was told he was in a meeting. I called him and left a message. I received a call that day and told him my disappointment in the service i was given. He informed me that when I make an appointment with a service advisor there is no guarantee that my truck will be done. I am only making an appointment to speak to an advisor but not for any serving at all. I told him that was ridiculous and that I will not be bringing my truck back to them as that reasoning made no sense. I have to take time off work to go in to "talk to an advisor" about my truck and leave my truck there. And they can't tell me at 11 that my truck cant be ready. I was one of 2 people there first thing in the morning.
Excellent Sales Department - JamieL
Just purchased a brand new 2019 GMC Sierra from Devron and Harry. What a pleasant experience. They went out of their way to work with my budget and provided every option under the sun. We eventually landed on the perfect package. I felt appreciated and well taken care of. The finance department was a pleasure to deal with as well. There was no "pressure" and they were genuinely great full for my business. Well done guys!
I have no idea what other reviewers are complaining about but I'm willing to bet that they took a simple misunderstanding or honest mistake and blamed the dealer because, well they are "sleazy car sales guys". Lame. Everyone is so quick to assume they are trying to screw the customer. I promise that's not the case. The last thing any business wants to do is screw over their customers.
This is what a automotive buying experience should be. Well trained and knowledgeable staff treating customers with respect and appreciation!
Thanks for going the extra mile - 6053norman
