We bought our 2025 Crosstrek in October 2025. We went for a test drive with salesman, Andrew. He was very personable and knowledgeable, providing lots of information, especially the safety features. He told us a couple of funny stories about testing these safety features on his own Subaru. They worked. Suli was very knowledgeable and helpful in advising and following up with us to bring the correct documents to complete the purchase. Our Crosstrek purchase process was the smoothest and fastest compared to our previous car purchase experiences. So far no problems with our Crosstrek. I am so glad I decided to come to this dealership! Everyone was helpful but our sales rep Mathew really went above and beyond. He did a great job hearing me out and answering my questions. He made it so easy to get in touch with him too. The timeline and availability for the car I was interested in was unknown and I really appreciated that he shared industry knowledge to help provide context for his thinking rather than give any blanket statement. His genuine approach really made me trust him and was the reason I decided to sign in the end. When I did get my car, he was so accommodating of my pickup requests and actually made the time so I could pick it up earlier rather later. I just loved the entirety of my experience and really appreciate how much this dealership cares about customer service. I highly recommend this location and Mathew as your guy!

Service dismal - no record of why my car was being dropped off for warranty work even though contacted by them to book the appointment and previously requested that this be put in customer chart during phone booking as the same ignorance was encountered when calling to make the appointment. "Covered" rental car in poor condition with lots of damage and stained seats and no winter tires in the middle of winter! Outsourcing rentals to companies with poor condition of cars even though warranty is paying for the rental car?? Your customers deserve the condition of the car that they are driving not a jalopy. Sorely disappointed with every aspect of this particular interaction. Something has changed at this dealership as experiences pre 2025 have always been great and I have been dealing with them for 10 years now. Come on Marino's - you can do better.

Willowdale Subaru Charged $1,492.16 for chemical intake valve cleaning (normally ~1 hour job) Willowdale Subaru charged me 9.5 hours of labor ($1,492.16)for a chemical intake valve carbon cleaning(not walnut blasting). From my research — and even Subaru Canada’s own admission — this service typically requires about 1 hour, not 9.5. When my car broke down and was towed in, the service advisor told me the carbon buildup was severe. When I asked if it was a safety issue, he avoided answering but left me with the impression that it might be. Later, the service manager claimed additional work was performed, but nothing was listed in the quote or on the final invoice. I contacted Subaru Canada twice: * The first time, an agent admitted chemical cleaning usually takes about 1 hour. * The second time, I was told to resolve it with the dealership. No official documents were provided to justify the charge. For context, carbon buildup is a known design issue in Subaru direct-injection engines, which can cause rough idling, misfires, poor acceleration, reduced fuel economy, and Check Engine lights. But this does not justify what feels like excessive billing and lack of transparency . I am filing a complaint with OMVIC (Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council) and posting here to alert other customers. If you’ve had a similar intake valve cleaning service at Willowdale Subaru (or any Subaru dealer), please share your experience.

Where to start, my crosstrek was towed in on Dec 29th completely dead. On Dec 30th they called to get information about what happened, information that was already provided during my call with them. Dec 29. Dec31, no call and no update on status. I only have one vehicle so this is somewhat urgent. Jan 2nd I tried calling for 2 hours no one answered any calls, I left a message. This is normal for them, they never answer the phone in service and if you leave a message you'll likely get no call back, and if you do its hours later. I finally talked to someone after 2.5 hours of calling. The attitude of the service person was shocking, he immediately said no one will be able to look at it until maybe Monday. They haven't even assessed whats wrong, it could be something very simple. I like the vehicle, but with this kind of service I will never purchase another Subaru again. This is not the first occurrence of this kind of service. Now I need to rent a car, not the service I'm used to getting from any other dealer.

Lousy Service! I was in the last 2 visits and both a 40 minute job, but they kept my car for 11+ hours. They skillfully put me as the last job of the day even tho I was in by 8am. The service advisor Brent was not helpful. I escalated to the service manager-he was useless-i will never return to Otto again.

Called sales dept to ask about a quote on a new vehicle and was told to come in person as they are not allowed to talk about numbers over the phone. What a pathetic policy of them, they want you to come in person to hook you into purchasing and adding warranties not usually disclosed over the phone. Sales tactics are very evident here. Called another dealership that provided me with all in pricing over the phone and even told me to avoid this place!

My review is 0/4 stars for car servicing and customer care. I dealt with Robbie the manager. The Budd's Subaru service dealership is miss-leading, not warranty honouring, and price gauging. I brought my 2024 crosstrek in for repair under warranty (the car is a year old). And was told the damage was not a manufacture's defect, and that I had to pay full cost. After check with other mechanics, I learned the dealership was also doubling the cost for repairs. Not warranty honouring, and disappointing customer service. Do not buy or service your vehicle at Budd's Subaru!

Worst buying experience of my life. I have purchased Range Rovers, Chevy Tahoes, many pick up trucks, Honda sports car and vintage trucks and never have I seen a dealership in such chaos. The sales people are rude to each other and the management are worse. Your time is of no consequence to them - you can just wait. When I tried to communicate my dissatisfaction to senior management at the dealership they said they would get back to me - never heard from them. They had no idea how to properly handle my trade and wouldn't provide me the car I wanted because a senior management's wife wanted to drive it more a few months. Won't buy from them again and may not even keep the Subaru. That is how disappointed I am with Subaru of Maple. Buy your car somewhere else, you'll thank me.

Challenging Quoting Process We had a disappointing experience dealing with Subaru of Orillia while shopping for a 2026 Subaru Forester Touring. Although the staff was polite and knowledgeable, we found the process inflexible, particularly when requesting pricing and negotiating via email. There was a strong push to handle discussions in person rather than providing clear written quotes, which made comparison shopping difficult. We understand that dealerships have their own processes, but a more transparent and customer-friendly approach to remote communication would have significantly improved the experience. We ultimately chose to purchase elsewhere.

Had my 2014 Crosstrek in for suspension service at Marostica Subaru prior to a long journey planned for this month for specialist healthcare reasons. I have never experienced such satisfaction. The mechanical team took such diligent care! The supporting staff was kind, attentive and welcoming. Even the owner took the time to see i was well cared for and doing well. Remarkable. The result was my humble little Subie came out with a treatment suitable for a creation of Ferruccio Lamborghini. The car drove like brand new, as well, i am rejuvenated. I shall never forget the kindness and attention i as afforded this day, and suggest it is not a great car but great after purchase care that makes for lasting satisfaction, and continued loyalty. Everytime I've had an issue with my vehicle, John is always there to save the day. He's knowledgeable, friendly, passionate and professional. I've owned several other brands and been to many dealerships. Never have I met someone like john. This guy knows the brand like its the back of his hand. He always makes sure I.m taken care of. I've seen him deal with the most difficult of people and still maintain his composure where I wouldn't. He's truly an asset to the team and anyone that has an "issue" with him is clearly mistaken. Even my wife will only deal with him. Seeing a solid brand, and a personable person behind the counter, is why I bought from this dealership twice now. I'm confident my cars are in good hands when I give him my keys and I know I'll always get it back in tip top shape. We need more people like him. Amazing dealership and people! We live just outside of London - it's totally worth the drive to Fenwick's in Sarnia. There is a Subaru dealer in London (my husband works down the street from them) but their customer service left a lot to be desired and thats why we went to Sarnia. We are now on our 2nd Subaru and our family has purchased 5 from Fenwick's. Shane, Chris, Ryan and all the other service team members are excellent. We tell all our friends and business associates that it's the best place to buy a Subaru and service it!! Always a positive experience dealing with them.

Had problems with my Outback and tried to resolve it in the GTA, but received at most polite answers. Because I suspected to be a problem with the breaking system and because my next trip supposed to be towing a boat I was even more concerned. Out of any other options, already on my way, I called Minden Subaru and, even without an appointment, Eddie Pinelli checked my car, identified the issue and corrected it in 5 minutes. What a big difference compared with the GTA service dealers. Now I know where I will service my car and probable buy the next one.. Emanuel

Service desk woman is always rude...all 3 times visited. Went in for a battery replacement, and they gouged my sister over $900 just for replacing the battery and doing a supposed, computer update...now the start/stop engine function when idle at stoplights, doesn't work and some other features like eyesight function disabled etc....they all worked fine before the service. She took the 2019 Subaru Forester back to them...they supposedly did a factory reset(without even pulling it back into the shop)...this fixed nothing...they didn't even take it for a drive to test the problem features. What are my sisters options, to getting these problems fixed, without being screwed over again! I can honestly say that I will be not stop without justice for this disgusting treatment of human being! I've since talked to multiple women who were gouged badly and ended up selling their Subaru's and will never buy one ever again! Someone has to stop this untrustworthy dealer. BUYER BE WARE AT OWEN SOUND SUBARU!!!
