I went to Freeway Mazda to purchase my new 2021 Mazda CX5 Kuro and again I was not disappointed. They answered all my questions and made me feel like I was part of the Freeway Mazda family. Peter, James, Eric and Artika were all a pleasure to deal with. Yesterday I brought in my 2012 Mazda3 in for servicing and they were awesome to deal with as well. Explained everything to me with the work that was being done and even sent me a video. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone!

It's always a pleasure dealing with the staff here. They are so friendly and ready and willing to work with you and whatever your needs/situation are. Even if it's just a simple yearly servicing they treat you first class. I live almost an hour away but they are worth the effort to get to them.

My Mazda CX5 2016 was in yet once again for non starting,... - Gataloca
My Mazda CX5 2016 was in yet once again for non starting, every year it dies not start and every 2-3 years I put in a new battery. This dealer had me wait fir maintenance 3.5 hours and did not do a draw test as requested. They told me the towing company put in a”suspect” battery - it is a Delco! I had two more mechanics at home check the battery and it was already weak from adrain somewhere. They did do the work requested, they lied about the existing battery and last year told me it was usb charger left in the compatment near my arm that drained the battery. I did not put that charger in- was done at original dealer in Nanaimo. They lied telling me the car would tow a small trailer. I am furious and want some action about this issue.

I sold my Mazda so I wouldn't have to deal with their incompetent and dishonest service department. I had a problem with the engine light staying on and they just kept throwing parts at it until they solved the problem. Naturally I had to pay for their incompetence.

I made my first car purchase, a low mileage Honda Civic Sport 2019, from Ahad at Destination Mazda very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. We arrived at a fair price for the vehicle. I would definitely recommend Destination Mazda to family and friends. Thank you Ahad for helping us. Keep up the good work.
Awesome Service Department - hiroanz
The JP Scion’s Service Department is awesome!! I took my Subaru BRZ (mechanically identical to the Scion FR-S) in for an oil change today. The service techs notice rodent droppings in the engine bay (I park outside, no choice), and clean the entire engine bay for me free of charge. I was very happily surprise when I got home, popped the hood, and noticed how sparking clean the engine bay is. I did not expect them to do that. That is service way above and beyond my expectations. The prices are also very reasonable, much, much less than what Don Docksteader Subaru charged me for the same oil change. I also appreciate the free ride Downtown. Thanks JP Scion, you’ve earned yourself a repeat customer.
Service with a smile - Sun Peaks Skiers
We were traveling through Kamloops for a ski vacation at Sun Peaks. The engine warning light started flashing. I called the dealership and they said come right over. It was 445PM. Bonnie checked us in, her boss & the technician went right to work. They quickly diagnosed the problem, applied an interim fix - enough to get us on our way and safely home and we were off in an hour. Very courteous service, they stayed overtime to get us going, and very reasonable charges. Good, old fashioned service. Thanks Kamloops Mazda, you saved our little vacation.

The dealership is outstanding. The folks in the service department are knowledgeable and very accommodating. I would not bring my vehicles anywhere else for servicing. August Mazda (aka Kelowna Motors) has been in Kelowna for over half a century and there are many reasons for its longevity. Mazda vehicles are second to none when it comes to reliability and value for your money

Evan is going out to help fix a brake problem. He took my car in twice for no charge, even though the issue was still there, he said to bring it back and will fix the problem now that he heard the issue. Bit of an inconvenience to go back and forth, but, If they can fix that issue on their own accord, I am OK with that.

Not friendly, long wait, wrong parts. - Mach1
Have only been in here twice for oil filters for my Mazda 3 but both times the parts guy was unfriendly, and even though it was not busy I had to wait a long time. The first time they gave me the wrong oil filters. Not impressed.
We bought our 2016 Mazda 3 GT Sport new at VIP Mazda in... - michaeljosephcarroll
We bought our 2016 Mazda 3 GT Sport new at VIP Mazda in 2016. All of the scheduled maintenance was
done, on time, by VIP except for the last oil change. The engine seized at 114k kms. The VIP Mazda
service manger told me that the engine had thrown a rod and put a hole in the block. He also told me
that this had happened because the engine wasn’t lubricated… even though there was no “low engine
oil pressure” light warning or valve lifter noise. He then quickly went on to blame the reputable garage
where a licensed mechanic preformed the last oil change. I asked the service manager how much oil was
in the engine and was told that there was no way to know as the technician had removed the oil pan
already. VIP went on record on Facebook later saying “Our Mazda Canada Certified Master Technician
inspected the vehicle.…the technician noted that although the engine was seized the oil was 0.5L over
full.” Mmm…so which is it? I was then quoted $5780 to replace the engine with one that had 100k kms
on it. There was no offer to help or any show of good faith from VIP Mazda whatsoever. I guess, after 5
years, they figured they had gotten what they could from us.
This is an excerpt from a letter we received from Mazda Canada; “V.I.P. Mazda has advised us that they
would be happy to help the with the cost of the repairs – by giving a better price, but there would be no
involvement from the manufacturer. We thank you for the opportunity to review.”
We had another mechanic replace the engine for one with a lot less kms and less money. Upon further
inspection of the original engine, it turns out, a bolt from the crankshaft bearing cap failed. The head of
the bolt broke off and was pushed through the aluminum block by the connecting rod. Probably a poor casting but certainly a factory flaw. Clearly none
of this happened because of a lack of lubrication. It was a factory defect. Had the “Mazda Canada
Certified Master Technician” spent just 30 minutes more, he would have seen the flaw…but they
couldn’t be bothered.
This is a dealership that will absolutely turn their back on you as soon as it appears that you have
become less profitable. I find their dishonesty shocking and disgusting.
