We were in the market for a used hybrid and found a Prius at Campus Nissan that fit our budget. The service from our salesman Nikita was excellent. We test drove three Toyota hybrids ranging in price and settled upon the oldest of the three. There was no pressure to go for one of the higher priced options. We had to return a rental car to the airport. Nikita went out of his way to deliver our new car to the airport when he got off work, which is service beyond the call of duty. Other employees were friendly and helpful too. We highly recommend this dealer.

I've purchased two vehicles from Abbotsford Nissan and have always found them to be great to deal with both on the sales side of things and from the service standpoint as well. They've been great about doing all the little extras I want done and have worked with me on price when/where needed. I find this is a VERY busy location especially in service so they can sometimes seem a little gruff but I think they're just overwhelmed by how busy they are. That attitude you bring to there facility will generate the attitude you're getting back.

On July 28th we had an appointment to test drive a Nissan truck. I left the keys to my truck with the sales guy while I went for the test drive. The vehicle was not for me so upon return I got my keys back and left. A few minutes after I had left the dealership called to advise they had my insurance papers and I could pick them up at reception. Apparently a photo copy was taken and the originals were not returned to my vehicle.
Now here is the part that doesn't sit well.
At no time did I give anyone permission to go rooting through my vehicle and remove my insurance papers and take a copy of them. I left my keys with the salesman as he wanted to have a look and do a quick appraisal in the event I wanted to trade it in.
When i returned and picked up my insurance I requested the photocopy as well which he promptly returned. He said it was just for proof of ownership is the reason he took the copy. If that is true then why the xxxx did he feel the need to take a copy of the second page which outlines my coverage and cost of insurance?????
This is common practice as he stated. The only reason I found out is because he forgot to return the papers before i got back...This is completely unethical such poor judgement. Sorry Nissan, you may have a good product but your Duncan team is way too greasy!!!!

I recommend avoiding this dealership.
I took a used Nissan into Applewood for a pre-purchase inspection. The inspection was done professionally and revealed several flaws with the car. Not being a car expert, I didn't have a good sense of how severe the issues were. My service advisor was very positive about the vehicle, saying that the car was in really good shape and made me and the owner, standing next to me, think it was a vehicle that was a good buy.
Unfortunately, the issues that were 'no big deal' are, in fact, likely going to be about 30% of the value of the car to fix. My expectations in a dealer pre-purchase inspection are that potentially expensive repair issues are not just noted, but highlighted as potentially very expensive. At no time did the service advisor suggest that these would be costly items. Not being a car expert myself, I didn't think to ask because from my perspective, he was to downplaying the issues so much.
I therefore cannot recommend the service advice given by Applewood Nissan and would strongly encourage anyone purchasing or servicing a car to look elsewhere. You are likely much better off dealing with a local mechanic who will talk to you directly rather than an intermediary like a service advisor who is not a trained mechanic and who may or may not have a good sense of the severity of the issues identified with the car. I have a mechanic I trust (Tokyo Auto, Vancouver), but the seller was too far away to allow me to take his car there.
Secondly, the service staff at the desk were openly derisive of a customer while I was standing there. They suspected him of accusing the dealer of doing damage to his car while he was there unfairly - of being a scammer. As I left, I saw that customer doing the sorts of things that someone who just found their car was damaged while being serviced would do - either he was a great actor, or he was being unfairly profiled. Whatever may or may not have been the case, it is not professional to deride another customer in the front-of-house. That's what the back office is for.
If you must use this dealership for some reason, then be sure to quiz the service advisor you get and ask lots and lots of questions. If possible, take someone you trust and who knows cars with you. Unfortunately, trusting this dealership to work in your interests seems to be asking too much.
I did call the Service Manager and he apologized saying he would talk to that particular person. It would have been nice if his apology came with a partial refund given that better trained staff likely would have saved me thousands of dollars, but it did not.
Very rude sales staff - Chetna
The worst car sales staff I have ever had to deal with. First, we waited over 20 mins and no one was available to assist. We left a number and requested a call back - the person who called asked me to get a quote off the internet. Then he asked whether I was interested in doing business with them. Then I said I was and was looking at finalizing the car in next couple of days and I could return to the showroom to discuss the best deals in 30 mins. I was told they cannot assure even an appointment.
Worst, this guy asked me whether there was another Nissan dealer closer to home where I could go to. Excessively rude people. Definitely not going there again and would certainly not recommend them to anyone. Avoid at all costs!!!
