LOVE MY NISSAN!! - Lovinmy370z
I went into Nissan looking for a 370z. Hayley was awesome. She found me exactly what I was looking for.
Everyone at Nissan was wonderful. There was absolutely no pressure and everyone treated me as if i were family.
I'd recommend North Island Nissan to anyone looking for a vehicle.
Thankyou to everyone at North Island Nissan for a wonderful vehicle buying experience
Just bought our 2nd Nissan today - Rick
Fabulous dealership. Craig Gallant and his staff should be proud. We've never had more positive buying and service experiences than in the past year. Vehicles purchased are, and appear to be top quality. Prices were fair and reasonable. Buying experience was non threatening and enjoyable.
Took our old dog while Titan being serviced...he must have felt like he was at a canine Disneyland.
Looked at all the other trucks and SUVs, found the Nissan brand to be top notch and easy on the pocket book. Jonny Walker was great as our primary salesman, and Craig was great as always.
Would highly recommend this dealership to anyone because of the product and the PEOPLE!
Ricky Li is a fantastic salesman - Happy
I found a vehicle I liked on car guru from Southside Nissan. Ricky Li called me minutes after I sent an email asking a couple of questions. After that he gave me his phone number to which I sent a number of texts asking more questions. He answered me immediately every time and gave me all the information I needed. He treated me with kindness and respect and as if I was the only person he was dealing with. He was truly amazingly helpful and informative. I would highly recommend asking for Ricky if you go into Southside Nissan as you know you will be treated well.
Thank you Ricky,
Very helpfu - j
Overall a great service, staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Nat was able to help me with the vehicle that I wanted and gave me several options that best suited me. Along with Nat, Ron was great at communicating with me and my bank to ensure that I could be approved. I would definitely recommend this dealership, they are professional and very thorough.
Above and beyond - Carolyn
Service staff went above and beyond to help find financing solutions to an unexpectedly large maintenance issue on my vehicle. It wasn't asked of him, but he spent the time knowing how stressed I was to hear the unforeseen news.
Very Pleasant Buying Experience - GBW
I went to Kelowna Nissan today to shop for a new vehicle. All the people I dealt with were very pleasant and appeared to value my business. They gave me a decent value on my trade in (2X what Bannister Honda in Vernon offered) and gave me a pretty good deal on a new Versa Note. Dylan Tran was extremely pleasant and easy to deal with!
Purchase Nissan 2019 Kicks SV and Trade-In 2007 Altima SL - Florencia Neill
The purchase price of the 2019 Nisan Kicks SV was very fair to negotiate and the Trade-In value given was also excellent Getting Partial Nissan Finance was fast with fair interest rate and bi-monthly payment plan. Awesome Job to sales person Rena Walker and financial services coordinator Jon Boero
Thank you for helping me find the right car! - Brinance
Thanks to Sina Fowzi and the great staff at Morrey Nissan in Burnaby for their help in finding the right “new to me” car at the right price! I had an excellent experience and highly recommend visiting Sina if you are looking for a car.
Outstanding service - Johnthefrontierguy
Vernon Nissan’s service manager Rene Pellerin and his staff are extremely helpful and professional. Ted Blaney a master mechanic keeps my 2006 frontier humming perfectly:)
Deliberately mislead us about a used Mustang convertible. - Abusedconsumer
We went to look at a 2017used sports car at King George Nissan. The sales manager Vonn told me several times the car had never been in an accident or rented. Once we got the car fax back ,it was clearly stated that the car was a daily rental. they had bought the car at auction and the previous owner was a budget rental car. We made a big effort to drive down to this dealership to buy this Mustang because it was not a rental. Vonn told my wife and I that the car was previously owned by a nice young couple who had recently had a second child and needed a bigger car and just traded the car in. A total lie. Then the owner got involved and tried to convince us we weren’t mislead! Do your homework and don’t trust anything these clowns tell you if you decide to buy from them.
parts and service dept excelllent - chow
had friendly and timely service via parts dept thanks so much. i had a short wait and even a wash and cleaning which i rarely do myself so that was cool
The Onwers clearly make the employees lie (Systemic) - Systemic lying
Bought a Jeep these guys. Fine the price is the price.
But once you show up the games are on,
The sale person lied to me, the manager clearly lied to me, even the parts department lied.
BE AWARE They games with walk ins......I would suggest going to a reputable place...this does not appear so
Went for the trade up event - Sanj
I never agreed to buy anything and they never told me they'll do a credit check. I got an alert on my phone the next day saying my credit score had dropped from excellent to very good. My score dropped over 100 points. I've always had excellent experiences with their service centre which I've been going to for over 16 years. Wish I could say the same about the dealership.
"Would recommend with caution" - Ruok-im
Salesman was great. Finance guy failed the grade.
Once the deal was agreed upon and I went to give my cheque to pay for vehicle I saw a $374 plus tax charge that wasn't explained. When I asked what it was for was told it was for in case my car was stolen that Campus would kick in money if ICBC didn't give me full value. Asked if this was mandatory on vehicles. No it wasn't. Finance guy tore up the contract and wrote a new one as I did not want the insurance. Was not happy that a charge was added with no explanation.
So far happy with the car but like they say "read the fine print"....
I would have given a higher rating but that charge did not sit well with me.
Salesman did a follow up which I really appreciated....good guy.
I would recommend dealership with cautions.
The absolute WORST purchasing experience of my life - Mego1
4th brand nee purchase of my life and never had soo many issues. Other than our sales person himself, the experience was a complete nightmare. Both my spouse and i bought approx a month apart. After almost 5 weeks from trading in my pickup, i realized nissan still hadn't paid off my trade in loan and that i was actually flipping the bill for 2 vehicles. At that point i checked my spouses account who had purchased a 2019 rogue about 4 weeks before me. What do you know, she was still paying for her trade in that another person had already bought from nissan and was driving around town. Eventually after weeks of back and forth, comox valley Nissan sorted out the issue. The next issue was our 3 referrals we were promised 250 a piece for. No one ever contacted us or made any attempt to deal with. About 3 months after the last referral, we finally called. 2 weeks later after several more back and forth phone calls we finally gor our check.......250 short. Nissans response? We mailed it a long time ago. False. Never happened. Of u want the most unorganized, unprofessional, least caring dealership after you walk out the door, than comox valley nissan should be your first choice.
Horrible service - Wes1234
Worst service I’ve ever received. Truck came with locking wheel lugs. Lock key was not provided. They will not help me in any way finding the key. Call 100x no answer, left messages no call back. Left me hanging with my truck on blocks for 4 days. Thanks Nissan, you guys have out done yourself!
Thanks Rick - Happy
I thought the same as Jeff about support but once I gave them a chance I could not have been any more wrong. Thanks Rick
Sales - Star
My bf and me we are not happy. And they are not helping us instead of downsizing, upsizing huge of interest. On our contract to much figures and which is not necessary. I hope they will sleep on night, what they did to us. And if we made appointment , the whole day spend with them without nothing. We were wasting our time and very very very slow service. Our rate for you guys negative. We are so upset.
Go somewhere else - MJM
On a maiden visit for an oil change (2hrs) and a test drive to listen if there was a strange noise coming from the front end where the mechanic reported there was nothing heard from the front end. I took the car home and while my wife was out with the car for the night I noticed oil on the garage floor where it was parked. Never there before! Called first thing to express my concern and was told they would get back to me. 5 hrs later no call. Call again and they say bring the car back and we will check it out. I'm at work so not able and it is a 1/2 hr drive each way from home so I already have 3hrs invested for an oil change. Service person Cole sounds like he has attitude matching my frustration so the last thing I am going to do is ever have a dealership who can't manage an oil change ever touch one of my vehicles again. If you want good service take the time and use Coquitlam Nissan instead.
Unprofessional service manager rude to clients - Frontierowner
Had an issue with service and never got a call back and when I called the service manager was rude and defensive. To top it off he hung up on me when I said I wouldn't be back again. go to your local garage for service and you'll discover sun valley Nissan is charging twice as much.
Pre-purchase inspection failed to highlight costly repairs - Stephen P.
I recommend avoiding this dealership.
I took a used Nissan into Applewood for a pre-purchase inspection. The inspection was done professionally and revealed several flaws with the car. Not being a car expert, I didn't have a good sense of how severe the issues were. My service advisor was very positive about the vehicle, saying that the car was in really good shape and made me and the owner, standing next to me, think it was a vehicle that was a good buy.
Unfortunately, the issues that were 'no big deal' are, in fact, likely going to be about 30% of the value of the car to fix. My expectations in a dealer pre-purchase inspection are that potentially expensive repair issues are not just noted, but highlighted as potentially very expensive. At no time did the service advisor suggest that these would be costly items. Not being a car expert myself, I didn't think to ask because from my perspective, he was to downplaying the issues so much.
I therefore cannot recommend the service advice given by Applewood Nissan and would strongly encourage anyone purchasing or servicing a car to look elsewhere. You are likely much better off dealing with a local mechanic who will talk to you directly rather than an intermediary like a service advisor who is not a trained mechanic and who may or may not have a good sense of the severity of the issues identified with the car. I have a mechanic I trust (Tokyo Auto, Vancouver), but the seller was too far away to allow me to take his car there.
Secondly, the service staff at the desk were openly derisive of a customer while I was standing there. They suspected him of accusing the dealer of doing damage to his car while he was there unfairly - of being a scammer. As I left, I saw that customer doing the sorts of things that someone who just found their car was damaged while being serviced would do - either he was a great actor, or he was being unfairly profiled. Whatever may or may not have been the case, it is not professional to deride another customer in the front-of-house. That's what the back office is for.
If you must use this dealership for some reason, then be sure to quiz the service advisor you get and ask lots and lots of questions. If possible, take someone you trust and who knows cars with you. Unfortunately, trusting this dealership to work in your interests seems to be asking too much.
I did call the Service Manager and he apologized saying he would talk to that particular person. It would have been nice if his apology came with a partial refund given that better trained staff likely would have saved me thousands of dollars, but it did not.
Very rude sales staff - Chetna
The worst car sales staff I have ever had to deal with. First, we waited over 20 mins and no one was available to assist. We left a number and requested a call back - the person who called asked me to get a quote off the internet. Then he asked whether I was interested in doing business with them. Then I said I was and was looking at finalizing the car in next couple of days and I could return to the showroom to discuss the best deals in 30 mins. I was told they cannot assure even an appointment.
Worst, this guy asked me whether there was another Nissan dealer closer to home where I could go to. Excessively rude people. Definitely not going there again and would certainly not recommend them to anyone. Avoid at all costs!!!
