Well I wish I could say something positive... but shop... - tbraun
Well I wish I could say something positive... but shop local, support local screwed us with this particular business. My boyfriend took his truck in because the gas tank takes a half an hour to fill due to the gas pump clicking off CONSTANTLY as if it were full. Who wants to stand out in -30°C pumping gas for 30 minutes, right? So call Westlock Motors, service department tell him sure, we'll look at, they run a diagnostic, explain what's wrong and a quote to fix the problem, $800! So boyfriend says yes, fix it (his truck is pretty well his job). So almost 4 hours later he gets his truck back expecting that 4 hours and $800 later that its fixed. So he goes to fill it up... nope, not fixed, can't fill it. Not sure why the service consultant would not have checked to see if the problem had been resolved before returning it and charging my boyfriend for 'fixing' the problem. Call the dealer to see what had happened and what could be done to resolve the problem, speak with the manager and he tells us that if we bring it back in they will run a free diagnostic... hmmm so what is the new diagnostic going to say that the last one didn't? How much is it going to cost to fix the new problem since the last $800 didn't fix it..... why would we bring it back? We are feeling completely scammed by this dealership and all they want to say is bring it back in and we'll look at it again? If you didnt catch the problem the first time in the 4 hours you had it, why would we trust that it would be fixed this time? Are we stupid or something? Worst service experience we've had anywhere.

Had an oil change and tire swap booked at this dealership. Took advantage of my wife and upsold her on an alignment , transaxle service and differential service.at 54,000 kms. Jamie is an untrustworthy, lying service writer and we will never return to this dealership.

Purchased a 2019 3/4 ton diesel SLT. At the time I was very happy with salesperson and the team. That winter I went to plug in my truck and found the block heater cord had been cut. I called the dealership and was told it was due to a recall and the salesperson would have told me. The parts were not in but there was a fix. I booked appointment and had block heater fixed.
This winter as we are in a cold snap and went to plug in again. To my surprise my block heater cord has again been cut. I called into a very unhelpful service desk. I was told there is another recall so cord was cut last service, there is a fix but no parts and there is no timeline for this repair to be done. Possible mid January. This leaves me unable to park truck at work or anywhere outside because I have no plug.
The fact nothin has been communicated and block heater cord cut is appalling from a dealership that just wants to sell expensive trucks and not have any concern for customer. Brutal

I recently brought my 2016 sierra in and the whole passenger side of my truck, led lights did not work, I paid them to look into it.
They had stated I needed all new headlight lights and taillights which in turn would have over 2 thousand dollars. I dug more into it and found it to be a basic fuse and replaced it myself for $2.50 and everything works as it should, don’t go here for any electrical work!

Bought all there warranty extras paint rust 3m ext warranty vehicle is now 4 years old with 73000 km and the right fender is rusted and paint came off they won’t cover this.the rear doors rusted the first year we had it and they repaired that so it’s obvious there’s a problem don’t like having to fight to get repairs done after buying all the extras this is our first and last gm steer clear of summit they don’t honour there warranty stuff makes my decision for my new truck easier though buyers beware
Excellent service! Dependable and respectful service... - Renee
Excellent service! Dependable and respectful service department. After having a very negative and frustrating experience at Schwab in Leduc it was recommended to us to take our truck to Adams. Best decision we made was to see Dean in Adams service department. Dean went beyond our expectations and was able to resolve all the issues we were having with the truck. He went the extra mile to ensure that we were satisfied and happy customers. Dean and his staff understand and respect the term “customer service” and they actually work to ensure customers satisfaction because they want the repeat business. I would highly recommend the service department at Adams because they stand behind their product and work.
Friendly staff and efficient - Paul
Good friendly quick and qualified workers, did all I asked them to do and called me about a couple of other issues before they did the work.
Incredible service - Matt Sellers
The service is incredible.
I had my front driver-side redone after I was side-swiped (which was all great) and then there was a bad shake when I drove above 100k. I took it back in and they got it into the shop immediately. It turned out it was just dirt buildup but they cleaned it up, re-balanced the tires, adjusted the alignment, and corrected tire pressure. Oh, and my window had come off the guides (not related to the accident) and they put it back on. All of it for free. These guys stand by their work and really seemed to care.
Horrible Customer Service! - Buick Owner
I suggest shopping around to find a dealer who provides professional Customer Service; Competition Chevrolet in Stony Plain is a failure in this department.
For the past 12 months I have had one of my vehicles serviced at Competition Chevrolet in Stony Plain; I will not be returning.
Here are a few of the reasons I will not be returning:
1) When performing tire maintenance, mismatched tires were installed on the rear-end.
2) Upon returning to their shop to discuss the issue, I requested that the rear-end fluid be changed; this was not done. Subsequently the vehicle was again returned and it was noted that the rear-end fluid was low, so it was topped up, but still not changed.
3) After changing engine oil, oil fill-cap not reinstalled; this resulted in oil throughout the engine compartment.
4) Rear seal replaced a number of times before diagnosing rear yoke issue. (I am sure they would have continued to change the seal if I had not called and asked a few questions!)
5) When changing engine oil, maintenance personnel tracked oil and grime into the vehicle.
6) They continually fail to correctly fill out window sticker date and mileage when next oil change due.
Although all of these issues have been resolved, it required numerous telephone calls (some to General Motors of Canada) and regularly returning the vehicle before they could get it right.
