.I've had nothing but superior service here. Chris takes care of his customers and provides honest and professional service. This is the only dealer who touches my Camaro. All other dealers have proven to be untrustworthy and abusive to my car, Strathmore takes care of us each and every time.

Poor customer service. My vehicle has been in for the third time for the same issue. Still has not been fixed. No courtesy vehicle. Ton top of all this they charged me for the diagnostic even though it’s under warranty. The truck has been losing oil and the oil again was very low when I brought it in for my THIRD appointment. So obviously they charged me for an oil change as well…. I will never buy here again.

Poor customer service - Looking for a Fair dealership

After having my vehicle stolen, insurance informed me that the vehicle would need to have a complete mechanical inspection. I decided to have this dealer perform the work as in my previous career I was a journeyman technician in a GM dealership and believed that they would do the best job for me. After the inspection was completed I was informed that the vehicle would need front and rear brake pads and rotors as they are getting worn (not as a result of the theft). I decided to wait on this at this time. The vehicle was detailed within the dealer which was not what was requested and authorized by insurance. The oil was changed and a wheel alignment was completed. When I picked my vehicle up I immediately heard a rotational noise that changed with vehicle speed. I immediately returned to the dealership, after driving less than a block, and advised the service dept of the noise. A quick road test with the shop foreman and the vehicle was heading back into the shop. I later received a phone call stating that the brake rotors are warped causing the noise. I was skeptical as the noise I heard was not a brake type noise. When I returned to pick the vehicle up the second time I was presented a bill for rechecking the for the cause of the noise. I argued that the noise should have been noted in the inspection however I am now doubtful that it was ever road tested. I argued the new charge to no avail and ended up paying to get my vehicle back. Mysteriously when I drove away I noticed that there was no longer that rotational noise. How did that happen I thought. After all brake rotors don't un warp. I believe that something was not tightened up and as a result they charged me more and blamed it on the brakes that I did not wish to have them change. Upon arriving home, I removed the wheels to have a look at the brakes. The rotors have some rust on them however not severe The rear pads have about 20% life remaining and the front pads have about 30% life remaining. For these reasons I would not recommend this dealership. I am just fortunate enough to have the education and background to know when I am being taken.

Their kind, knowledgeable, and professional service staff make bringing our vehicles to them an easy and happy experience. Well I wish I could say something positive... but shop local, support local screwed us with this particular business. My boyfriend took his truck in because the gas tank takes a half an hour to fill due to the gas pump clicking off CONSTANTLY as if it were full. Who wants to stand out in -30°C pumping gas for 30 minutes, right? So call Westlock Motors, service department tell him sure, we'll look at, they run a diagnostic, explain what's wrong and a quote to fix the problem, $800! So boyfriend says yes, fix it (his truck is pretty well his job). So almost 4 hours later he gets his truck back expecting that 4 hours and $800 later that its fixed. So he goes to fill it up... nope, not fixed, can't fill it. Not sure why the service consultant would not have checked to see if the problem had been resolved before returning it and charging my boyfriend for 'fixing' the problem. Call the dealer to see what had happened and what could be done to resolve the problem, speak with the manager and he tells us that if we bring it back in they will run a free diagnostic... hmmm so what is the new diagnostic going to say that the last one didn't? How much is it going to cost to fix the new problem since the last $800 didn't fix it..... why would we bring it back? We are feeling completely scammed by this dealership and all they want to say is bring it back in and we'll look at it again? If you didnt catch the problem the first time in the 4 hours you had it, why would we trust that it would be fixed this time? Are we stupid or something? Worst service experience we've had anywhere.

Bought a truck here last year and well working in Red - Bailey P

Bought a truck here last year and well working in Red Deer began to have truck problem a couple weeks ago. Brought it in for service and to investigate the problem and I mentioned that it seemed to be transmission, tourque converter and starter. The vehicle was inspected and the mechanics recommendation was a new battery and battery cable, then it was good to drive no problems, other then some other quoted work mainly standard maintence work. The same problems and issues occurred when I picked up the truck and they said it was due to spark plugs and fuel injectors. Eventually had to tow it from Red Deer back home as I brought it to a trusted dealership and as I mentioned what I thought was a transmission and starter issue ended up being the case. I was very happy with the sales team when I bought this truck but I would avoid taking any vehicle for service at this dealership.

First day on holiday and we had a mechanical issue with our truck. This dealer went beyond expectation and gave us the best service to get us back on the road. Actually... the experience was a great way to start our trip.
