I'd like to recognize your Service Appointment Coordinator, Loni Maurer. I'm from Cold Lake here in Edmonton due to my sister requiring a cancer operation. I inadvertently let my 2016 GMC Terrain' Coordinator, Loni Maurer. I'm from Cold Lake here in Edmonton due to my sister requiring a cancer operation. I inadvertently let my 2016 GMC Terrain's battery run down to the extent I required a boost from AMA. What I didn't realize was that by doing this it put my vehicle into a protection lock out mode. I had no idea what to do. I phoned Capital GMC Buick on 34th Ave and spoke with Loni. She advised me to proceed to the dealership and contact her when I arrived. As it was Saturday they had a very limited number of mechanics on duty. She was still able to get my vehicle in and have a mechanic diagnose my problem. In a very short period of time they found the problem to be that a protection code had been activated. They were able to clear the code and get my electronic screen out of lock out. After they fixed my problem she advised me that there would be no charge and was only to glad to be of help. This lady and her staff went out of their way to not only help me but also relieve a very stressful situation. Without her help I would have been driving around Edmonton and back to Cold Lake in a lock out mode. There are not enough words that will express my appreciation and respect for Loni and her compassion. She has represented Capital GMC Buick in a most outstanding way and I would recommend this dealership and especially Loni to anyone in the city. Disappointed and disgusted for purchasing a GMC Denali at this dealership! I live in remote northern Canada and was expecting customer service to be top priorty when I came to this dealership in 2019. Yester this dealership! I live in remote northern Canada and was expecting customer service to be top priorty when I came to this dealership in 2019. Yesterday I wanted to order oil and air filters so that I could do the minimum of maintenance on my truck and was told by a lady (forgot her name) in the parts department that she could not help me, rather not take a credit card over the phone. She even asked her manager! In our current world of physical distancing due to Covid-19 i would've expected parts delivery to be a preference. Sure my salesman from 2019 Goldie tried to fix this after the fact but no thanks, I'll spend my money elsewhere. I will "not" recommend Capital GMC to anyone! More
