Worst experience ever. I have owned over 25 cars and trucks from several dealerships over the last 35 years. I must admit that Northland KIA is by far the worst service department to deal with.
My 2016 KIA Sorento like many others started using about 2 litres of oil every 1200-1500 km, at first they acted like it was an isolated case, they made me go through 2 oil consumption test each were over $350 each. The second one was done because the first one was screwed up but I got to pay for both.
After waiting three months for results I went in to talk to the service Manager, Shane, he opened a work order right away and told me not to deal with anyone but Crystal. They made me provide all of my maintenance records, apparently the KIA dealerships do not link together, I was told to stand by and wait for an answer from the extended warranty, that was last November, I went to inquire in January but was told to just wait for them to call me. It has now been over 9 months, no calls or updates but they still call me to go in for preventative maintenance.
They also had my car in 4 times for an intermittent cruise control, it was never fixed.
The last time it was in, they called me to let me know that my car was ready but had to go through the car washh. I got there 30 min latewr and still had to wait another 60 min for my car.
All in all very bad experience
Please review all of the engine failure groups on Facebook before buying a KIA.
