"Terrible service and Warranty "

Purchased a brand new F-150 and got the dealership to install a 4” lift and tires. After a few weeks of driving I noticed severe tire wear on the inside of both front tires. When I brought it back for them to look at they said because I drive on muddy roads A.K.A gravel roads that it would knock the wheels out of alignment. I truly believe the wheel alignment was never done after the lift was installed. The reason I have this belief is because both sides were out the exact same amount. (Suspicious) There was nothing they could do. I thought the whole reason for getting all the work done at the dealership was to avoid situations like these. Now they are just so quick to say it is drivers abuse because there is mud on the frame. Apparently these trucks are built for highway only.

"Won’t stand behind product"

2011 F150 ecoboost with only 109k on it suddenly started downshifting and losing power. It went into limp mode. It showed all the known issues from the safety recalls and TSB’s ( timing, downshift, misfire) which leads to a blown motor. It was even confirmed on the invoice that it is the problem. Sherwood park Ford then decided that because it is expensive to fix, it actually isn’t related, and that they will not stand by the quality of this vehicle. (While agreeing that this should not happen on a low km truck!) I loved this truck and thought they would stand behind the known issues on their flagship model vehicle....... but apparently not. I will probably never own another Ford because of this experience.

I had spoken to the service manager. No help, he blames Ford Canada for not approving repairs, and Ford Canada said it is his decision how to proceed. Someone is not being 100% honest With my truck gone, I would have at the very least expected someone to offer me a trade in value and a deal on a new vehicle as I was obviously in need of one. As soon as your team realized I was upset that the engine was blown, they washed their hands of us and the truck. Any vehicle could be a lemon, it’s how you handle it that builds trust and a lifetime customer. I am very happy with my 2019 Silverado that was offered within my budget and a bunch of extra options.

"Dont buy Ford its garbage"

So I WAS a die hard Ford fan! I will never buy any Ford product ever again! I have bought two cars now from Sherwood Ford and wish I never did! The first car was a used Chrysler 200 with 14,000km and by the time it was at 25,000km it was having transmission problems, so we traded it in on a Brand New Ford Escape which is s big xxx! By the time it had 8,000km on it it was misfiring and burning coolant! It took Ducharme ford in bonnyville 10,000km to decide it was a head gasket with me bringing it in repeatedly! So they replaced the head gasket then the problem starts again so I take it to Zender Ford where the service advisor says hmmmm were stumped maybe it's a bad injector so I take it back and take it to Sherwood Ford where it was bought! They diagnose it as cracks in cylinder #2 and replace the long block! At this point it has 38,000km So I picked it up Monday May 13 2019 less then 10 days later the check engine light is flashing and it needs to go back to Ford! I personally know 4 other people having the same issues. I will never buy a Ford again and hope you dont get stuck with garbage from Ford like I did! In the year I've owned it its been misfiring more then it hasn't. I would give 0 stars if I could

Steve in service was excellent! Very knowledgeable, professional and friendly! I brought in my Ford F-150 for its first service. Steve made sure the vehicle was done on time. I bought my truck in Edmonton and I live in Edmonton, but after calling the service department two times to book an appointment and was told had no appointment available for an oil change until mid May( more than 2 weeks away). I called Sherwood Ford and they were able to book me in the next day. I will be coming to Sherwood Ford for service from now. Also Sherwood Ford was able to give an appointment for my partner vehicle the day after my appointment. Thank you Steven Wylie and Sherwood Ford Service Department for the Excellent Service!!! "Service Follow-up Made Right"

I took my F-150 to the dealer after my usual mechanic could not isolate the problem with my cooling fan’s excessive operation. My first service appointment resulted in my payment for inclusive diagnostic and a recommended coolant flush. While likely needed, the flush didn’t solve the fan issue. I approached Service Manager Damon to explore options (eg partial refund; discounted further diagnostics). Damon fully heard my interests and more than accommodated me with service support and diagnostics. I am completely satisfied with the how Damon responded and ensured I left satisfied and with all service issues addressed / resolved. While this was all transpiring, Ashlee (Service Rep) provided prompt communication and applied courtesy considerations as feasible.

Purchase date was wrong in Ford System,had proper date changed by Robert Moisley with Sherwood Ford. Warranty changed from 3 yrs 60,000.kms ro 4 yrs 80,000. kms.
