Ram Fluff deffiantly not ram tough! I bought a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 ECO Diesel at the year end in December. I have been there three times for Service issues and the service was terrible. I bought a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 ECO Diesel at the year end in December. I have been there three times for Service issues and the service was terrible. When the truck was sold to me in December they never told me it needed a bra so as not freeze the air intakes which it did and they tried to charge me for the repair.. Jokers The second time leaving work on a wet day and the truck started excelerating with my foot not even on the gas peddle. I made the corner and a red lighting bolt and some warning instructions came up on dash consol the truck was limpiming in the intersection. i just stopped in the middle of the intersection jumped out to see if something was stuck on gas peddle nothing. I called write away and they told me to drive it in to the service centre which I did not knowing if the peddle was going to stick again or leave me stranded.( They hooked up something to it and said they could not see anything wrong and sent me on my way saying it was my floor mats.) The latest issue with my DODGE RAM 1500 4x4 FLUFF! Driving home very recently in a Spring snow fall and the roads have the usual Ontario amount of slush and snow wet condition and the truck hit some slush crossing over into the next lane and the truck just went into limp mode RED Lighting bolts and a detailed message telling me not to turn off truck until I reach a safe destination.The truck will not go over 90klm/hr. I get to a safe location and turn off truck to see if it will reset and it does not. The key is stuck in the ignition and I now need a tow for my 40 000 k on it DoDge Ram4x4 fluff. The truck gets towed and the Tow truck driver tells me there is a plastic wire harness that has been unplugged. I said leave it for the service guys to look at it has the extended warranty. They servic Tech calls the next day and says the wire harness to the transmission has been damaged and 3 pins were bent and the cost of the repair is $474.00 and not under warranty because it was hit with foreign matter. It was hit with snow and slush we live in Ontario and we get lots of it hence the 4x4 truck.I asked why is there a plastic wire harness exposed to the elements in the first place. I was told by the Service tech and the service manager they are all like that. They would not budge on the warranty claim even with pictures the harness is exposed to the elements and there fix was to put plastic wire ties to hold it in place and charged me $474.00 The best part is the service Manager telling me that it can happen at any time and I have kids and my wife drives this vehicle as well. These Trucks are DODGE RAM FLUFF !! You can’t drive them in winter they have way to many exposed electrical connections and they will not help you with warranty (crooks).. I hope you learn from my mistake and buy from a more reputable dealership and for your own safety stay away from the DODGE Ram 1500 4x4 trucks ( Ram Tough lol...more like Ram fluff) More

Actually called me by accident looking for someone else, at which point I asked about my vehicle. Two full time working parents can't afford to have their primary vehicle for driving children gone for multiple days - I took time from work for this day already that was wasted. This was told to the staff but didn't seem to matter. Not recommended for anyone trying to manage having a life around their car service appointments. More

Brent was a pleasure to deal with and knew what he was doing. Parts had to be special ordered (tie-rod, right-front axle, rear shocks). When the parts arrived, the car was brought in and the work was finished in less than one day with very reasonable labour costs. I will be telling all my friends. More
Scott seems to really enjoy making customers happy. Shopped around for a 2019 JEEP and was getting the run around from another dealership in Ottawa. Was giving up hope of finding a Jeep I could afford. Before giving up I decided to walk into CAPITAL DODGE because I was near Kanata. Was asked what I could afford and what I was looking for, before anything else. I liked the straight forwardness. I felt ZERO pressure and enjoyed my conversation about cars etc. I told him I had a meeting to go to and I would come back in 3 hours. Scott (SALES MANAGER) said leave it with me. When you come back I will say "Yay, or nay" ...plain and simple. The other dealership told me my budget was 2 low. I went in to the other dealership 3 times in 2 weeks, and only heard sorry can't budge. When I went back 3 hours later to Capital Dodge, scott said if you are ready to sign we HAPPY to do the deal! I was shocked. No fuse, No pressure, No B.S. , no back and forth. Just YEP, its on the table if you want. I Signed the papers with a huge smile on my face. Only regret is I wasted 2 weeks looking at another dealer. Wish buying a car was always that easy!!!! If you sell cars go visit and watch Scott, its easy peasy lemon squeeze. Truly felt that "If Scott could He would!" Definitely recommend and will be shopping for future cars from him! I like how they weren't finding customers from there cars, Scott seems to rather find cars for his customers! BIG difference! I get my new JEEP tommorow!!!! And feel great about it. More

Watch out, avoid if you can! We had gone in a few months back and had a great chat with he sales person. When we were ready to buy we came back and started the process. We thought everything was fine, when it came to the numbers we knew something was off. We asked repeatedly what the difference was and was told it was the sticker price plus taxes and licensing then the cost of financing. We asked again and Scott came over to say “we are a high volume dealer and we don’t need your business, the numbers are strictly taxes, licensing and financing.” We said ok. And trusted their word. Surprisingly... after we “agreed” and signed the offer on the bill of sale... surprise! Admin fees! When we asked about this again, they said we couldn’t back out as we had signed the deal. We did agree to the number, I don’t dispute that. But they didn’t tell us about fees, even when we asked about it. This place was all smoke and mirrors, their financing manager was passive aggressive, she would say things like “oh... that’s a mistake, you should take the rust proofing, I guess you’re just a gambler...” or upon delivery there was an issue... which we were told would get fixed, only to be told a week later “that’s why you get our gift of a paint pen”... don’t go here. They weren’t honest and you’re really just a “number” they don’t need your business. Don’t believe me? Ask Scott. More
