My situation with Capital Dodge has now been ongoing since October 2025 and remains unresolved, following a series of issues that began with my original trade-in and continued through two separate “bran since October 2025 and remains unresolved, following a series of issues that began with my original trade-in and continued through two separate “brand new” vehicles provided as replacements. 1. Trade-in of 2024 Dodge Durango SRT 392 (Initial transaction) In October 2025, when I traded in my 2024 Dodge Durango SRT 392, I was told it would be sent to auction due to its condition and value. Instead, it was placed directly on the showroom floor for resale. I was also informed I was undervalued by approximately $14,000 on this trade-in. Andrew Hatin was aware I had significant equity and had put down a large amount, and I believe this was taken advantage of. 2. 2025 Ram 1500 Sport GT (First “new” vehicle) I was then sold a 2025 Ram 1500 Sport GT as a new vehicle. Upon delivery, it arrived with multiple defects, including: Dented roof and door Damaged trim Blown speaker Curbed rims Paint defects covered with matching paint pen Half-full bottles of rust proofing under the seat Damaged headlight Due to these issues, the vehicle was deemed unacceptable and I fought with FCA Canada and Andrew Hatin to have it replaced. 3. 2026 Ram 1500 Limited (Replacement vehicle) I was then placed into a 2026 Ram 1500 Limited as a replacement. I was told there was no equivalent Sport GT available and that the only way to match payments was through a lease I did not properly understand at the time, which limits me to approximately 49 km per day and restricts my ability to exit the lease if issues occur. This vehicle also arrived with significant defects, including: Steering wheel creaking when touched Fingerprints sealed behind gauge cluster plastic Paint overspray Rim damage on all wheels Chemical damage on radar sensor and rear license plate lights Dent in tailgate Wavy dents in RamBox panels Corroded wire affecting safety systems Damaged rear fender flares (later replaced under warranty) The vehicle was sourced from approximately 450 km away. I specifically requested flatbed transport to avoid damage, but it was instead driven in winter conditions. 4. Ongoing lease and resolution attempts I am now in a lease structure I did not request, with a 49 km per day limitation. After 4 months of emails, FCA involvement, SCI Canada, and attempts at escalation, the proposed “resolution” was to place me into a lower trim 2026 Ram with fewer options for approximately $200 more bi-weekly. This did not address the prior issues, lack of accountability, or the approximately $14,000 loss on my trade-in. 5. Dealership conduct and escalation issues Throughout this process I have been dealing with General Manager Andrew Hatin. My concerns include: Breach of privacy Discrimination Failure to resolve two defective “new” vehicles Refusal to provide dealer principal contact information Blocking escalation beyond himself Ignoring multiple emails Inconsistent communication and repeated delays False assurances of resolution I requested escalation to anyone above Andrew Hatin, including the dealer principal, but this has been refused, preventing a proper OMVIC complaint process. FCA/Stellantis have also advised a new vehicle should be provided, but this has not been completed after 4 months. Current position I am seeking a replacement of my current damaged vehicle at the same payment, with no down payment or additional fees, taking into account everything that has occurred including the two defective vehicles and my trade-in loss. The only good thing about this place is Brent! He makes sure the client is taken care of. Since purchasing my vehicle in July of 2022, my vehicle has spent almost 300 days at the dealership. 95 He makes sure the client is taken care of. Since purchasing my vehicle in July of 2022, my vehicle has spent almost 300 days at the dealership. 95% of these days are due to the same issue that not even the engineers in Windsor can fix and yet, here I am always dropping my vehicle back off for them to screw around in hopes a miracle will happen and it will be fixed. No one at this dealership has any desire to assist and fight the powers at be to get me a vehicle swap or even out of my lease entirely. This is my second vehicle with issues from this dealership. Steer clear, once they take your money, there is no turning back. Go with a different brand of vehicle and save yourself the hassle, lost time and money! Sincerely, One xxxxxx off customer More
I have done business with a few different Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, Fiat dealers in the Greater Ottawa and QC region to establish who I want to be my primary dealer service center. I can tell you hands do Chrysler, Fiat dealers in the Greater Ottawa and QC region to establish who I want to be my primary dealer service center. I can tell you hands down Capital Dodge is my dealer of choice and should be yours too. It can be difficult to replicate a noise problem, but the team of Capital Dodge (Thank you Ryan Rodney & Isaiah) they really took the time to listen to my challenge and did everything they could to find and isolate what my problem was. With their savvy diagnostic equipment and great technicians, they were able to pin it down and provide the solution. I was greatful for them having the knowledge, know how and equipment to get it done... Don't lose time going else where to someone that may not know your vehicle and pay unnecessary repairs. Put your trust in Capital Dodge, like I have. I will be back! More

Expensive and incompetent. Near complete brake job on my Dodge Journey - car almost did not stop pulling out of the dealership. Slammed the pedal all the way to the floor and Near complete brake job on my Dodge Journey - car almost did not stop pulling out of the dealership. Slammed the pedal all the way to the floor and had to use the emergency brake to get it to stop. They clearly didn’t test drive it after the repair, except to park it, but still handed it over to me. Ok – mistakes can happen, technicians can be rushed by their managers, and although this should have been my last visit, I really wanted the closest Dodge dealership to be “my garage”. Parking brake job on our Dodge Magnum. $1600. Picked it up - with the parking brake all the way on, you can push the car and it moves. They replaced almost everything that is part of the parking brake system on this car except the front cable, can you guess what the problem was? They “couldn’t get the part”, another Dodge dealership IN TOWN had it in stock. Once again, nobody tested the work before handing the car over. Now, I’m going to take responsibility for this third one, because as I look back at the first part of what I have written here, I’m clearly a complete idiot for ever going back. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me three times, well… that’s the Ontario public education system’s fault. Needed the valve cover bolts replaced on the 06 Magnum, as two of them were seized. They replaced the gaskets as well as the bolts, and the car started billowing black smoke a few minutes into the drive home. Thought it was a little bit of oil spilled during the repair that would just burn off. Nope, kept getting worse – way worse. Oil was continually leaking onto the exhaust, and on the way back to the garage several people pulled up next to me in a panic to tell me my car was on fire. Surprise! Nobody test drove the car before handing it over. Service advisor is friendly enough, but that’s really their entire job, they aren’t the ones that do the actual repairs, and when things get screwed up the service advisor can’t do anything except turn the mess over to the service manager, whose “solution” is usually for me to buy more parts to complete the 4-digit price car repair. I now drive the extra 20 minutes to get to another dealership. More

We just wanted to say thank you once again for the excellent customer service that we received from Jessica and Ryan at the service desk today. With every interaction that we had with her, Jessica was excellent customer service that we received from Jessica and Ryan at the service desk today. With every interaction that we had with her, Jessica was thorough and very pleasant. Bonus for us: Thanks to Ryan's resourcefulness, who went out of his way to help resolve an issue with our vehicle's fob that was not even the reason why we had brought our car in to Capital Chrysler Jeep Dodge in the first place, we left the dealership knowing that we will not hesitate to come back. Congratulations on having such a great team behind the service desk! More
