Today, I get up at 7 am just to bring my car to the Scarborough Toyota for routine service. When I got there at the bay door, I was greeted by my favorite service advisor Mr. Joseph Yung and his assistants, with a VIP welcome. Once I gave Joseph the mileage, he immediately put all the info into the computer. Then my wife and I went for breakfast. In less than an hour, we were back on the road again. I've had my car serviced there for 20+ years now. There have been a few instances where I wasn't pleased, but overall, I would say I trust them (well I've been going there a long time). I don't feel they did unnecessary work, or tried to cheat me on something. A few times I've gone in and they've sent me elsewhere (like a muffler or body shop) because it's not their area, which I appreciate.

I received a recall letter from Toyota on continental tires issues- RAV4 XLE 2018. I booked an appointment with Toyota Mississauga 2215 Dundas St E. I was charged $140 without asking my authorization before. No new continental tires received. To make it worse and unethical behavior, they decided to change oil, despite it was changed just 3 weeks ago in the same place (less than 900 kms). Their argument was that that is under Toyota guaranty. With such unethical attitude, I am so concerned about the problematic continental tires they did not changed.

I had an fantastic experience at Tony Graham recently, and two employees in particular truly went above and beyond, Slavie and Sam. I came in to address a rim issue and both employees could not have been nicer or more professional. Not only that, but when they noticed my license plate was peeling they were very helpful in this regard as well offering to take off the plates, helped my locate the nearest Service Ontario and provide me information and its hours of operation and whether they take people in person, and they stated once the plates were changed to come back and they would be more than happy to put the plates on for me. And while I did not have to outlay anything today, they were still helpful and gave me ample time with a very pleasant demeanor both times I came in today. Wonderful experience.

After 10 years with this dealer, I am leaving today. The service staff is rude. Maybe the dealer is big and they don't care one or two customers any more. For ten years, I have done my every service at this dealer. But today they told me that I didn't make appointment for my oil change. Seriously? Not mentioned I have never come without an appointment. And now they turn me home saying I don't have appointment for oil change. Then the staff gave me my key leaving my car inside AND ignore me. That's fine for me to leave.

My muffler was making a clanging noise after a trailer hitch was installed, at another business, when I was out-of-town.. I wasn't worried about this problem, because I had an appointment for routine maintenance of my car only a few weeks later at Bel-Air Toyota. I had the mechanic, at Bel-Air Toyota, inspect my muffler to see what the problem was and how it could be fixed.
Their mechanic told me, "It would take an hour to fix the problem." Their Service Advisor said, "The cost would be $65.00 to $135.00." When I asked if the cost could be kept down their mechanic said, "Get the right trailer hitch. Fix the problem yourself! Go to a welding shop. Part of the hitch has to be cut. We don't have torches here!" I was very upset upon leaving Bel-Air Toyota, because their service advisor and mechanic were both rude and disrespectful to me.
After leaving Bel-Air Toyota, I drove right to a muffler shop, where the mechanic added four spacers (two per bolt) to the muffler mounting bracket. It took only about one minute. With a smile on his face the manager said to me, "There's no charge. We are happy to do it!" I have now driven my car a few thousand kilometers and the muffler is no longer hitting the recently installed trailer hitch. I purchased my car new at Bel-Air Toyota less than one year before this incident and no longer trust their service. Also, I feel their staff is unprofessional and are only concerned about making as much money as possible by taking advantage from unsuspecting customers. You have now been warned about how Bel-Air Toyota service staff treats their customers.

Ongoing battery drain on my Toyota. Asked service to diagnose it again for the third time and spoke with the manager last night explaining the issue. He suggested to unplug my dealer installed remote starter and see if that was the issue.
They called during the service, told me the tech thinks it's the remote starter and needed another hour to diagnose the problem. I suggested they just unplug the remote starter for now and see if that cures the problem as I can live without it.
When my wife picks up my truck I have a bill for completely cutting out my remote starter (literally just snipping wires) and she's told the truck battery is still draining.
Are they completely incompetent? We paid for the full extended warranty and it is still covered. The perfectly good remote dealer installed starter is lying in a box, my truck wiring is a disaster and they never solved anything.

Nothing but issues and nobody will call you back, you need to go in to get reply/answered. I have had multiple complaints since my frame recall replacement. I will just highlight the major ones. Air conditioning didn’t work but they said it’s nothing they did. Agreed to pay for parts I pay labour. While doing that they crushed my rad. Asked them to replace it but they would not. Then my condenser was leaking. Put up one star review. I was told if I take down bad review and put up five star and they would help me otherwise why would they. So I did. Had vibrating at 80-120 speeds couldn’t figure out what it was had to go to Toyota town to figure out it was my grille clips were broken. Would not of cared as grille was already damaged and needed to be replace but would of been nice if they were honest at North LondonAnd told me they broke clips.
Then I had more issues after
steering rack replacement. Went in to get Answered as nobody would return my calls. This is when Marty Blue verbally and aggressively abused my husband. He called him a piece of *%#¥ and told him he was no longer allowed there, among other things. My husband went a few doors down to talk to GM Kevin and was told there are 400 parts to take of and that not all parts would go on right. He said he would look into it and get back to us. He never did!!! I have that conversation on tape if you’d like to deny. Had to go to Toyota Town to get condenser fixed again as the o rings were leaking that should of been replaced when new condenser was put in at North London. And finally I have to go in still to find out why my truck bounces to one side when going over bumps it’s dangerous!’n
