Thank you. Peter MacKay has addressed the issues and concerns and has taken responsibility on behalf of his team, which I truly appreciate. I am now awaiting the reimbursement cheque for the service. I trust that appropriate corrective actions have been implemented to prevent a recurrence of this incident.

placed $1000 deposit on April 6, 2024 for a new 2025 Toyota Corolla Hybrid LE AWD and the sales person was Tony Cao. Since I did not want any optional package (i.e. Rust proofing, extended warranty, etc), he told me there will be a long wait since they will sell cars to those who pay for additional packages. I asked him how long would be the wait and he told me it's about a year. I was okay to wait for a year and then I paid for the deposit. This year (2025) June I called Tony and he said there was no car available yet. I told Tony that I didn't mind any color, just not black. Then I called in November again and he also told me there was no car yet. I then called other Toyota dealer and the dealer said this is not possible, since they can get me a car (2026 model) in a month. I really believe that the kind of up-selling tactic your dealership used was very questionable. I have the vehicle purchase agreement for proof.
