Another great experience dealing with Capital Ford... - Gibby
Another great experience dealing with Capital Ford service department!
I dealt with Nicole Reimer in service. She had my truck in the next day, and fixed in time she promised. Nicole kept me informed thru the entire service job which was timing chain on my 3.5 eco boost F-150!
When i asked questions about the work if she didn’t know the answer she had the service tech answer my technical questions!
Large repair and expensive but Nicole made the entire experience , perfect!
I was even pleasantly surprised when i saw my bill.
Great job Nicole and the team at Capital Ford Lincoln Winnipeg!!!

I only needed to have my winter tires out on. I got a call a week after the appointment stating they forgot my locking lug nuts and I need to pick the up in the next week. I live at the opposite end of the city and cannot leave work early again for this. Why can’t the shuttle drop the off?

***GO TO A DIFFERENT FORD DEALERSHIP*** if I could give negative stars I would…
My buying experience 3 years ago would have been 5 stars, they sure made it easy for me to spend $60,000 on a 2018 F150. But when it came to warranty repairs that is when they started to no longer treat me like a valued customer. It all started with a leaking oil pan, the truck sat in the lot for nearly 4 weeks (not my fault) no courtesy car for nearly a month. When I finally received my truck back it returned with door dings and scratches… when my steering wheel texture began wearing down they told me it was “wear and tear” at 20,000Kms… I had to fight with them to replace that. When my sunroof was making a *clicking* noise they repaired it with Fords recommend repair, which fixes the noise but then made my sun roof open violently to the point where it broke the plastic in the track making opening the sunroof impossible.. obviously it was passed the 60,000km of my basic warranty so that’s when they finally wanted to fix it… oddly enough they quoted me nearly $6000 to repair the sunroof stating they had to pull replace both motors, the tracks, remove the sunroof, headliner, interior etc… so I opted out of the repair… I have been experiencing a growling noise in the front end of my truck for almost 6 months, when first mentioned to the service department they told me they had diagnosed it as a bad bearing/front hub and I had to wait 3 months for it…. I waited all summer for it, once they installed the hub, strangely enough their service order stated they had also basically rebuilt my front differential which was never discussed…. Upon leaving the lot THE NOISE WAS STILL THERE.. when I returned to Ford they sent me to discuss the issue with the service manager who rubbed it in my face and made it known that he’s been working for 35 years and knows my truck better than me.. he then proceeded to tell me the noise was no longer a drivetrain issue but instead it was my tires cupping…. Fast forward 2 weeks and a few thousand dollars in new rims and tires THE NOISE WAS STILL THERE… When returned to Ford the service manager then told me he’d drive me in my truck and listen for the sound.. upon the road test I pointed out the noise to which he told me there was no noise, he told me what I was hearing was normal, he told me All he hears is the drone of my exhaust… MY STOCK 2.7l ECOBOOST MAY I ADD…. He then got confrontational YELLING at me in my own truck while driving me around to the point I felt uneasy. He then told me he’s done with my truck he’s not touching it and that there is nothing wrong with it… WELL listen here Jim Bell… (service manager/ shop foreman) id be embarrassed to rub 35 years of experience in people’s faces when all ive witnessed was improper diagnosis and customer disrespect.
I have since taken my truck to a different Ford dealership. They have since repaired the growling noise, and quoted me only $450 to repair my sunroof…
Midtown fords service department is the most uneducated and disrespectful staff I have ever dealt with. I’m super disappointed with how we’ve been treated as customers.
STAY AWAY FROM MIDTOWN FORD AT ALL COSTS…
This was the worst experience. I dealt with Julia... - Mark Gale
This was the worst experience. I dealt with Julia Gordo-Molteni and had a horrible experience. She doesn't return calls or follow up on items she has promised. She is dishonest and lies to cover up her mistakes. She said things were done that hadn't been.
She lied about sending reports to MPI on my behalf and she became very rude and argumentative when questioned about the discrepancies of what she had texted and what was the truth.
I have zero trust in her ability to represent a client and would never deal with them again as a result. She needs to find a new career where customer service and honesty doesn't matter....

Great service! Always willing to discuss the problems I have with the car other than the scheduled maintenance content. Even though I bought my vehicle somewhere else and bring it here for service, they still provide very friendly service

We bought a used a vehicle that had a pre existing tuner... - JGWalker
We bought a used a vehicle that had a pre existing tuner that had been installed by Rhineland Ford. We had constant issues with "no-start" and this truck was a truck used for our business. Each time we would have to tow 1.5 hours to this dealership because the installation of this tuner voided the warranty that we had. No other Ford dealership would look at it. Every time we had an issue, they would act like we were such an inconvenience to THEM! So after the third or fourth time, Joe in service got very rude and said that for $200 he would remove the tuner and return it to stock. We brought it in, paid the cash, and left believing that it was completely removed. A couple weeks later we were having issues and took it to a closer service centre where they indicated that the tuner was still hooked up to the vehicle. We called Joe in service and he argued that is was out, then backpedaled when we told him we had it at another service centre and they were saying it wasn't. He then indicated that it was left in so we could monitor the gauges. He then told me to take it out myself and then hung up on me (not the first time). I then asked the current service person to talk to the owner regarding this issue. I called the owner, Mia, regarding her speaking to the current service person, and she told me it had been removed. I said it hadn't and that I have photos of it still hooked up. She asked me why 3 hours would be charged to me if they hadn't removed it? I said that's what I would like to know. She said she was "done with this" and then she hung up on me.
The current service guy was completely shocked at their workmanship and customer service behaviour. These tuners are not covered by Ford so why are they installing them? The worst service I have EVER experienced!
Don't know how they stay in business - Don Wither
May 2019 took my 2017 Edge in as the service engine light would not go off. First attempt lasted a day. Second attempt lasted a day, third attempt resulted in the tec. WORKING THE WHOLE DAY ON THE WRONG CAR. Forth attempt was successful. June I had Fairway Ford install a trailer hitch and wiring. Obviously they did not check to see if the trailer brake light switch worked as it did not. Waited 9 days for an appointment to have this looked at.. Second trip to this dealership, they admitted they installed the wrong part and it was fixed on the third trip to their shop. Lets see, seven trips to have two items fixed but it gets better. Sept. 30th I had the oil and filter changed and I specifically asked that the tires be rotated. I marked the right rear tire. When I picked up the vehicle I asked if the tires had been rotated and I was told that had been done.. Guess what? It had not been done. Presently 8 trips for three items. With kind of service, I don't know how they stay in business
Fast and efficient service - JMN
Airbag replacement recall on my Mustang. Made appointment and was done in less than an hour. Vickar dealership in Winnipeg said it would take up to 4 hours! If your time is valuable, bring your service needs to Steeltown.

Took 2 Days to put in a 15amp fuse on a auto start on a Ford Escape that was improperly installed by their own dealership. And had the audacity to charge $100 for their mistake. Very poor customer service
extremely helpful and friendly - Shane
Had a major break down traveling through town. They were as accommodating and very helpful. I was able to get the parts needed and repaired enough to get back moving again.
Couldn't have broken down near a friendlier ford dealership.
