General Manager REFUSED to do anything to rectify the situation! I am stuck with Over $3200 in Repairs!,, BEWARE!...They are just out to get your Hard Earned $$$...Only recourse is SUIING THEM! Look Out here it Comes!!!

As a follow-up to my review below regarding my son's car. I did some research on the issue and it's common for heat shields to rust around the bolt heads, which is what happened on one of them. It's a simple fix, with a larger washer. We could have done it ourselves but took it to Speedy Auto on Guelph and they fixed in less than 30 minutes, with an honest assessment. They couldn't get the duct tape off so the fix was done a long time ago and was sold in that condition. Great team at Speedy and extremely helpful. Leggat could have done the same but chose to alienate a new customer and try and rip us off.

Boyfriend just purchased our second vehicle from Forest City Mazda. Both time we have had nothing but the best service. During my recent visit to AutoHouse Mazda Sarnia, I was met with disappointment primarily due to the service from the sales manager, Glenn. His unfriendly demeanor, attitude and reluctance to negotiate starkly contrasted with the customer service skills one would expect in sales. Understanding that everyone can have off days, it was still clear that Glenn’s approach to customer interactions was not just an off day but a reflection of his general disposition, which detracted significantly from our experience. This led us to explore other options and we found ourselves at Forest City in London. The difference was night and day; the staff there were welcoming, eager to assist, and demonstrated a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction, making the drive from Sarnia absolutely worth it. For anyone in Sarnia considering a Mazda vehicle purchase, I highly recommend making the trip to Forest City in London for a far superior buying experience.

I purchased a new Mazda3 from this dealership and have had occasion to have maintenance done there, as well. The manager, sales and financing staff were easy to work with and fair. I never felt excessive pressure, nor underhandedness in any way. The service department seems very clean and organized and have always been willing to help over the phone or in person. If in the future, we purchase another Mazda--which is entirely possible--I would visit here as a first choice.

My wife and I recently visited Angevaare Mazda with the intention of trading in my car for a CX-90 PHEV. Despite the efforts of Ben Ouellette, the Sales Representative, the trade-in value offered was declined by his senior peer, Jason. Unfortunately, we were left without any alternatives or options after turning down the initial offer. I appreciate the effort of Ben, but the lack of flexibility and alternatives from the senior staff was disappointing. Hoping for better customer service and more options in the future.

A few years ago we moved from Waterloo, ON where we had excellent service on our two cars, a Mazda 6 and a 3. Unfortunately after our move we had some back experiences with the service at Bay Mazda and had focussed our buying power elsewhere, but recently due to a safety recall and five years passing we tried dealing with them again and recieved fantastic treatment. The service manager, Mike, went far out of his way (literally) to regain our confidence. Looks like our next car will be bought at Bay Mazda!!

We have been misinformed by those people only in purpose to sell their car and they were knowing that it might take a while to get all the necessary documents for the leasing. We have trusted one of their dealer who told us it's gonna take one to two days to provide those documents even if we told him right at the beginning that we only had a driver's licence from another province. Now, after trying to get the car, I learned that it's gonna take two months to be able to get the car. They simply lied to us and now they don't want to give me back my deposit, because they say that they can't do anything even if they lied to us right at the beginning.

If I could give this dealership 0 stars I would. I use to go here for a simple seasonal tire change because my car is a new Mazda. They have damaged my vehicle twice while changing the tires which doesn’t seem that difficult to do. First time they bent the disc and I drove it 7 hours back home which could have been dangerous. The second time they bent the body above the tire. The owner refuses to take responsibility for the damages even though he wrote me saying “ if they did damage the car they would have told you” .... funny that they DID NOT each time. I also watched the mechanic try to open my door while on the hoist, in which the door hit the hoist. I do not recommend this dealership since it isn’t profession, they don’t treat you very nicely especially if your a women. Thank god this isn’t my primary dealership because my main one treats you like VIP.

Took Mazda in to be serviced. Brake service and Oil Change. It was a snowy icy day. When I picked up the vehicle it was in the same spot with the same ice hanging off the wheels and no smudge marks on any part of the wheels...same dirt too. How do you take wheels off and do work like that? Price was higher than quoted too. Complained to Mazda Canada..

The overall service at Half-way Motors is good. However, having worked in a dealership in the past I can recommend a few things for continuous improvement. 1-take the time up front to explain to the customer what the repair costs will be and in this way, the customer will not be surprised when they receive their bill 2-off a complimentary car wash wish every service visit. (most other dealerships do)

When shopping for a new car this past summer I visited every, and I mean every, lot in town... while many of them were pleasant experiences, Matt at Mazda made the entire process so painless and enjoyable that I purchased the first car I test drove from Mazda. Fast forward 6 months and we are looking for a "new" used car for my daughter and and once again...the first vehicle Matt pulls up for us is the winner! Add to that all the great customer service I receive when visiting the services department for seasonal tire changes and oil changes and I could not imagine going to any other dealership any time soon.

I have been to this dealership three times over the past four years. NOT because I've been satisfied with the service. Because I live in a remote area even though its the CLOSEST mazda dealer, it still a 4 hour drive away. My first experience was 4 years ago, so details are quite vague and I can't honestly say all would be accurate, so I'll simply say it was satisfying and felt I was overcharged for what was done-don't we all... My second experience was for a damaged air pressure sensor in a tire. My tire had a flat, so I took the tire to my local garage. They told me I had damaged the sensor during the flat and would continue to leak out a split in the stem.. Filled up, the pressure would hold for a couple weeks. Next time in SSM, I had them look at it. They took off the tire and severely damaged the stem. Not having one in stock, they put some kind of black tar as a patch and told me they would have to order one in for the next day. I wasn't staying the night so no point. I left the dealer with a full tire and 1 hour later my tire was completely FLAT. I called the dealer and was given parts and service managers phone number at home as it was now past 5pm. I explained I had to drive home that night and asked if there was anything he could do as obviously they had made my small problem MUCH worse. He said there was nothing that could be done and apologized. I drove home that night, stopping every 30minutes to rein folate my tire. Brought it to my local garage and there is where I found out what had happened. They simply put in a new regular stem and charged me 5 dollars! I just had to live with a constant low pressure light on the dash, which I was glad to do. Third experience was just yesterday. I called in the morning and made an appointment for 2pm, but he said try to get in sooner. Showing up at 1:30, I was directed to a rather unfriendly service employee. I conveyed my thoughts and observations with my car and he quickly dealt with me and stated they would call my cell when they had completed an inspection and before commencing any repairs. Also telling me nothing could be done about my failed air conditioning as their machine was broken...not good in JULY! I was asked to wait for a shuttle who would take me to an appointment I had in town. After 20 minutes waiting he gave me an old, tired looking mazda pickup covered in advertising and stains throughout the interior. Obviously it was the vehicle used by service employees for running errands....I was not impressed, but already late for my appointment, I took it. Two hours later, I called them and asked what the situation was with my car. They said the mechanic was just about to take a look at it. After shopping I drove to the dealership. It was now 5pm and everyone was gone but the very same parts and service manager I had dealt with in the past. He had tried calling me 5 minutes previous to my arrival and left a voicemail stating he was closing shop for the night. He started by telling me they had not found the time to do any work on my car. They knew I was driving back home that evening as soon as my car was repaired!! He told me the brake pads that were installed previously were NOT installed properly and they had caused some damage and of course needed to be replaced. He changed his story very quickly when he realized it was his mechanics who had changed them! They had to use a different brand of brake pad from another supplier in town as once again, I was in a hurry and couldn't wait. The manager had just assumed I had them done elsewhere! When I told him I expected that repair to be done for free as it was their fault. He said "Look, if you're not happy with the service we provide, (pointing to the road) then take your car and get out of here!" and that's EXACTLY what I did. I fully intend to contact the head office of Mazda with my complaint and see if they will make this right and cover the cost of that repair. I will NEVER, EVER step foot in that dealership again!
