To the woman who threatened to repo my best friends car,

As her first new car, she thought she was doing the right thing by bringing her car in to the manufacture. To build a relationship with a service department close to her. Never could I have imagined receiving the call I did following the interaction she had with you.
How dare you? How dare you talk to some one in such a way. I hope you never speak to someone this way. I hope that you take some time to think of how something like that would make someone feel. Who do you think you are? You are not the bank, you are not the dealership that sold her the car in the first place, you are a service advisor. Your Job primarily being responsible for managing customer requests for maintenance and repairs, providing excellent customer service to customers, writing repair orders, communicating with customers about the status of work, collecting payment for services, accurately handling cash and credit payments, & selling additional services, including parts and accessories where appropriate. Not to make comments "you're lucky you came back to pay or else I would have hated to come to your house and repo your car" in a condescending tone with a smile on your face.
If your store policy required payment in full, you should have just said that. Rather than telling her it was okay to do her daily limit the day of pick up and the remaining balance the following day.
