Well worth the extra drive. My wife and I decided to upgrade our Ford truck that we've had for 16 years to something new with lots of bells and whistles for our retirement "boat My wife and I decided to upgrade our Ford truck that we've had for 16 years to something new with lots of bells and whistles for our retirement "boat puller". After a disappointing test drive from our local Ford dealer, I called my buddy who had always had Ford trucks in his company fleet. He recommended Dave Faithfull at Island Ford in Duncan. Dave met us two days later, after hours on a Tuesday night, in a little town a short distance from where we live in order to save us a 54 Km drive to the dealership. We test drove an impeccable truck and had a superb first meeting with him. As it was late in the year we had to put together our wish list of features for Dave to try to find a match for. That's when I found out how hard this guy works! The following Saturday, after one of the most seamless transactions I've ever had, I drove home in our new truck (right in our price range, with all of the features we wanted and more) that he brought over from Vancouver. Dave also arranged to have a spray liner put in the truck bed and touched base with me every other day until this was complete. Kudos to the team at Island Ford and specifically Dave Faithfull, who makes this all look so easy. More
