Whenever we thought about switching up a car, we would always pop in to see John Brimo and his team and even if it didn't work out, we knew we always had the relationship. However, after many years, we were in need of a new car right away and came in on Civic Holiday, August 6th. We came home just over 24 hours later with a new lease on a Ford Fusion Hybrid! Unlike other dealerships, being female appeared to have no impact. I was treated respectfully and not talked down to. No one batted an eye when I said I wanted to buy a standard vehicle or tried to talk me out of it. Sales staff were very helpful. There was no issue when I wanted to test drive the vehicle; my partner and I were given the keys and freedom to test drive the vehicle together. I appreciated that Lucasz took the time to go through the car features with me after sale to make sure I was comfortable with it. Nick was very welcoming and great in making us feel at ease and helping complete the sale. Carol was wonderful to deal with for financial aspects and made the process straightforward and comfortable. The only issue I had was at pick up date. Financial issues were left to be finalized with a different finance associate. When I noted my mortgage obligation had my biweekly rather than mo they payment noted, I indicated that in the application. He did not want me to correct the error as it created more paperwork. That concerned me; I was to sign off on the documents as being correct and they were not. I also had to change the mileage. I felt like he was trying to pressure me to sign misleading documents. I attribute no malevolence to this, more a lack of appreciation of the significance of the act. The financial associate had no idea of my background and at points I felt like I was being talked down to. Further, when reviewing details of the financial application with me, he did it in the public area with others around rather than in a private office. Open discussion of financial matters is not appropriate and should be discouraged to respect the privacy and comfort of all customers. More

He made several cars available for me to test drive was patient with me and answered all my questions. His follow-up was great too. Mary, who looked after the business side of the transaction was great too! She explained all the financing options as well as any add-on features for my interest. Never once did she pressure me to buy something I wasn't prepared to purchase. in the end L took her advice and purchased an extended warranty. Also an exceptional experience!
