Sales department was excellent. Finance department not good. Roger Hamieh and the sales manager were excellent. Our experience with Martin Swietach in the finance department was not as good. I am 79 and my wife is 78, and we were sold a extended warranty for 5 years, by only showing us what our payment would be. When we got home and examined the contract we found the warranty was $4370.00 for the 5 years. I contacted Mr. Swietach less than 24 hours after signing the contract and told him we did not want the extended warranty. We met with him the next day (delivery day) and were convinced, and we agreed to take the warranty for years 4 and 5 and delete it for years 6, 7 and 8. We were informed our payment to Ford could not be changed as it had been submitted. We were given a cheque for $1500.00 for the years we did not take the warranty. Again not being able to think on my feet as I might have 40 years ago, I needed time the think. If the 5 year warranty cost 4370.00 each year would be in excess of $800.00, or more than $2400.00 for years 6, 7 and eight, and not the $1500.00 we were given. We are not experienced car buyers and I think we were taken advantage of by the finance department. More

Just looking today...but ended up buying! My wife and I had been looking for a used truck to tow an RV (yet to be purchased). We had been shopping around for about a week. This particular morn My wife and I had been looking for a used truck to tow an RV (yet to be purchased). We had been shopping around for about a week. This particular morning, we went to two dealerships..and I was rather interested in a particular F150...but I wasnt buying today. On the way home, for the 4th or 5th time on the radio, we heard of the 'SALE' going on at CITY FORD. Since the exit to City Ford was only two past the one to our home, we carried on for a look. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the New Car salesmen. We indicated what we were looking for...so we were directed to the next Used Agent...Hermes Temraz. We described what we were considering to purchase...and why. After a moment of thought, Hermes said he had the perfect fit. a 2012 F150 4 door long box. I liked the extra space compared to the other model I was considering...but it had the simplicity of less electronic gadgets on the dash. Hmmmmm. Price was close to the other vehicle. After the test drive, I again reminded Hermes that I was just looking....and that we would think about it and go eat. He encouraged us to take the vehicle for lunch...to try it out more. (another couple was now looking at the re-parked vehicle with another salesman). OK....off we went to lunch and another test drive. Hermes made the deal work. We agreed on a fair price. He went to bat for us with the Sales Mgr...as we were still kind of leaning to the FTX package on the other vehicle at the other dealership. Soooo....here we are a week or so later. We are very happy with the vehicle. No issues. Part of the deal was for two items to be addressed. Both were completed within days. I am suspicious of Used Car salesmen...but Hermes has earned my business....and future business. He was straight forward and true to his word. PS - We bought the RV the other day. We pick it up tomorrow and do the 'TUG' test. I am sure it will tow the new RV fine. More
