"Dishonest.... refusing to give me deposit back!!!!..."

- kautzcontracting

Dishonest.... refusing to give me deposit back!!!! November 23, 2020 I factory ordered a 2021 F150 from Sam Nazzal at City Ford. This would have been my second F150 I’d bought from Sam. At time of order I was quoted a price along with two Ford incentives the first $3000 manufacture rebate along with $1000 factory order rebate from Ford. I have text evidence of all our conversationsAfter waiting 4.5 month for the truck I was contacted by Sam last week on its arrival. Excited I headed to the dealership to check out the truck. Speaking with Sam I asked for the final price with taxes.Sam came back after speaking with the sales Manager (Ryan) and stated that he’d made a mistake at the time of order. The Rebates he quoted were incorrect and the price of the truck was going to be $2000 plus gst more than the agreed upon price. I offered to split the difference and take a $3000 discount instead of $4000. To which I was told “no”. Sam and Ryan offers to give me my full $1000 deposit if I didn’t want to buy the truck. Needing a vehicle I agree to purchase the truck as not make a bug issue of the change in price. I made arrangement to pick up the truck April 15. On arrival at city Ford I paid for the truck signed the paperwork. Ford currently requires owners to register the truck prior to leaving the dealership. With paper work in hand Sam gave me a ride to the local registry, on the way Sam mentioned that the vehicle had an outstanding recall and they were not sure if I could take delivery today???????? I just paid for a brand new truck and they failed to inform me that it had a recall and they didn’t know the extent of the work required or how long. Image you show up to buy a new truck they take your money and you don’t know if you can leave with the truck? Once arriving at the vehicle registry I Googled if dealerships are allowed to sell new vehicles with recalls. From what’s stated online the dealer would have to brand the truck as “used”to sell it with an outstanding recall. After researching I decided not to register the truck. I got back in the truck with Sam and explained to him I wasn’t comfortable but a truck without know how long it would take to fix or the extent to which the work was required. At that time Sam proceeded to insult my hesitation and drop me back off at the dealership. His comments ended the sale. I proceeded to speak with the Sales manager Ryan and ask for my $1000 deposit and my cheque back. Ryan after some attempts of getting me to continue with the purchase Ryan gave me my check back but refused to give me my $1000 deposit back. Ryan said he’d have to speak to the owner regarding the return of my deposit. Buyer beware! Enjoy it while it last City Ford disruption is on its way. Direct to consumers is coming and the dealership model is a Dinosaur!

"City Ford SUCKS!"

- CityFordSucks!

I had the worst experience ever at City Ford! the first saleman i had swore at my son in law and told us to get the EFF out. He wouldn't give us any numbers or answers and we expressed how our patience was running thin and next thing you know we are being told off and to get out. i called the manager the next day and he actually defended his saleman!!! That just shows how unprofessional this place is. Next my son just bought a vehicle from there...paid WAY TOO MUCH by the way. He gave my name for his referral and instead of listening to my son, they gave it to another person that was in that day with my son. Another thing, my friend traded her 2016 truck in for a new 2018 and they gave her $43,000 for her truck which had 70,000 kms on it. I went in to possibly trade mine in as they emailed me and text me saying they would pay off my truck and give me a great deal. They offered me $32,000 for my truck which has 30,000 kms on it and a step up from my friend's truck. This place and the people that work there are a JOKE! I will NEVER buy another vehicle from them! Most of them don't know anything about the vehicles or what they can tow or anything! SERIOUSLY DON'T BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS PLACE!
