Amazing Experience - Exceptional Service I was having some car trouble right before Christmas and had a horrible 2 day experience at another dealership trying to get a diagnosis on my 2015 Op I was having some car trouble right before Christmas and had a horrible 2 day experience at another dealership trying to get a diagnosis on my 2015 Optima SX Turbo. I called Georgetown Kia to request my maintenance records as requested by by the dealership and spoke to Rodney from the Service Dept where I have been getting my car serviced after explaining what had occured and what treatment I was receiving here and he said why didn't I just bring the car there first? He advised me that I could call roadside and have them bring the car there and that they would take care of the rental and whatever else process that would follow, this was about 30 minutes to closing, Rodney said don't worry about that just bring the car over we will be here. Upon arrival (over and hour and a half later) I was greeted by if not the entire staff with open arms and big smiles on their faces, Rodney took my car keys advise that the shutle car was outside waiting to take me to pick up a rental car. He then introduced me to Tony Garofolia who was there for their Christmas party which they were setting up for. I explained to him the situation and that I was considering upgrading he then introduced me to my 2 product advisors Meghan and Phil and assured me that I was now in good hands. The following days going over the details of the new car was such an easy and very comfortable process Phil and Meghan were both just simply amazing. Phil took me first had to take a peek at the new car when it was delivered. I picked up my 2017 Sorento SX Turbo on New Year's eve 2016, the pick up was absolutly amazing he had ballons all over the car for me and was there to show me every little feature my new car had to offer. Once all was completed and we were ready to take the new baby home Phil left us all with a big hug and warm wishes for the new year ahead of us. A big shout out to the service dept at Georgetown Kia Rodney, Enzo and all the boys who truly help make Georgetown Kia such an amazing place. Rodney thank you so much for making a bad situation into a new car and an unforgetable experience. Thanks for everything Georgetown Kia keep up the great work in 2017 :) Warm regards, TRUUU More

Great teamwork and support I have noticed a significant change and commitment ever since this new team took over a few years ago when i upgraded from my 2011 Sorento to my 2016 I have noticed a significant change and commitment ever since this new team took over a few years ago when i upgraded from my 2011 Sorento to my 2016 Sorento. Had always stayed away from this Service department and had my 2011 Sorento serviced at an alternate Kia Dealer, however, since the purchase of my new 2016 over a year ago, I was promised a change or that things had changed and certainly they have. Great team and teamwork. More

Another bad experience - 0 for 2 Free snacks and bottled water is very nice but the coffee is 25 cents but if you ask the service guys they will give you a quarter Whats the point of Free snacks and bottled water is very nice but the coffee is 25 cents but if you ask the service guys they will give you a quarter Whats the point of that? WiFi kicks you off at approx 1 hour and I could not get back on despite working flawlessly until then. I've reported this twice already with no real impact. This happened to my phone, laptop and tablet. On to my latest experience. I brought my Sorento in because the seat release on the passenger side gets seized or plain stuck. The first time I brought it in, the mechanic said he fixed it by simply oiling it. I asked if he tested it a few times since it may 2 or 3 tries to get it stuck and he said yes. I respectfully explained that I was skeptical since it was locked up and didn't think a simple spray of lubricant would do the trick. I was assured that was the case and guess what, very next day it got stuck. The service guy said the cable probably needs to be replaced and I made another appointment. When I arrived the service person asked me if they ordered the parts. I replied, "I have no idea". After working on my car for after an hour they asked me to come back because they had to order parts. When I was called to make the appointment, I asked them how long it will take and told 1 hour and an half at the most. Another appointment was made for noon and I got there 10 minutes early. The car did not go into the shop until 12:20. Well I was there for 2 and half hours. Got home and realized that I should have tested the latch while i was there. 2nd try and it was stuck. Then I called the service manager and he asked if I was operating the latch correctly. When I explained that I operated the left and right one the same way he started to understand that this is not user error. I even took a video to showed him the driver side latch operation vs the passenger side To add insult to injury, I noticed a bunch of over spray from some kind of lubricant on my rear seat and floor mat on the side they worked on and they did not have the material put back on properly and the foam was all exposed from the rear seat. Now they want me to bring it back again. I told them that I will leave it with all day so they can take their time and fix it. fingers crossed that this fixes it. needless to say that i gave the local dealership another chance and i think this is my last time going there. More

Friendly but slow service During our last visit the service provided was good. The staff are helpful and friendly. Also, when the paperwork was incorrect the one staff called the other an idiot, which I felt was uncalled for. I give them a mixed rating this visit. More
