Your location Georgetown Kia 15 Mountainview Rd N, Georgetown, ON L7G 4T3 Car dealer Zain Abbas 554 points 2 hours agoWould give 0 stars if I could. I was sold a vehicle that was safety approved Georgetown, ON L7G 4T3 Car dealer Zain Abbas 554 points 2 hours agoWould give 0 stars if I could. I was sold a vehicle that was safety approved - I paid 21K - but it did not have working heat. I bought this car so I could transport my growing family, we were expecting baby #3 - I made it clear I needed a FAMILY vehicle with the basic heating/cooling components working. I also made it clear that we do not have another vehicle so this will be the only one we rely on. I brought the heating issue to their attention to which I was told it's not their problem and I need to figure it out myself - I then contacted OMVIC and was told basic heating is a safety issue since the windshield will fog over and the car is not driveable in that state. They finally agreed to 'help me out'. We went back and forth and they didn't have a solution, finally went to the car maker's dealership for diagnostics and they reported an issue with the evap core and when the report was sent to KIA they said they dont believe that to be the issue... this is after 4 months of trying to diagnose the problem. They again tried a couple surface level 'fixes' to no avail. Upon recommendation from OMVIC I sent them an email requesting a resolution, to which I was flat out told they aren't willing to help. This caused the engine to overheat and basically the vehicle was destroyed within 6 months of ownership. The sales reps don't call you back once you've committed to purchase - their concern is with making their money and getting out. KIA was 'generous enough' to offer to 'buy back' the vehicle from me at the 3.5 month mark and offer 11k for a car I paid 21k for, claiming I had driven it 7,000 kms and that devalued the price of the car. I was willing to part with 1-2k since I did drive the car (mostly to and from Georgetown Kia) - but to offer me half the value?! What a joke! If you value your money, or the well being of your family, DO NOT deal with Georgetown KIA. This is the type of dealership that gives all car dealerships a sleazy/bad name. More

My story is a little different-I met Ian a couple of years ago just by chance. I was in Georgetown during a snow storm and my car’s battery died. I was stopped in front of Kia Georgetown - called over years ago just by chance. I was in Georgetown during a snow storm and my car’s battery died. I was stopped in front of Kia Georgetown - called over hopping someone would be able to help. Ian came to the rescue!! I told Ian that when I was I the market for a new car I would come see him first. Fast forward 2 years and here I am in need of an upgrade. Staying true to my promise- the first person I called was Ian. His professionalism, positive attitude, expertise and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure I was his #1 priority is rarely seen nowadays. As long as Ian is in the business of selling he will always have my family as a customer. Thank you again More

You NEED to understand! Almost every time I/we have some kind of contact with a retail vendor, I get a phone call, and/or a series of emails until I respond. "How did we do? Almost every time I/we have some kind of contact with a retail vendor, I get a phone call, and/or a series of emails until I respond. "How did we do?" Last week after purchasing a $3.00 bolt at CTC, I received 3 email satisfaction surveys. This is a stupid waster of my time and yours. If the management of your company does not already KNOW how good or bad the company performs, your company needs to hire Management who are good enough to figure it out on their own. Let's simplify; stop being a pest. I will call you if I need you or if you mess up. Learn from this. DO NOT email or phone back. Thank you. More

Krish was very personable and helpful from the first phone enquiry to the test drive. My wife and I found the buying experience here pleasant and the vehicle exactly as described. The trade-in value f phone enquiry to the test drive. My wife and I found the buying experience here pleasant and the vehicle exactly as described. The trade-in value for my car and price of new purchase was fair without any pressure. It was well worth the drive from Barrie and I would have no hesitation in recommending Krish to my friends if they were looking for a vehicle to purchase. More

We noticed a ticking noise shortly after and he took it back to Kia. They said “that’s a Kia engine sound”. A month or so later a light came on and he had to have his truck towed to the dealership (another personal expense). Was a coolant issue. They kept it for a couple of days and called back saying they looked it over and “topped up the coolant and everything was ok”. He picked it up and the very next day was driving and smoke was coming out of the engine. He drove it “again” straight to Kia Gtown. Shortly after he gets a call saying that the engine needs replaced - $12,000. This off course upset my future son in law as he was not anticipating more cost. They said it was a head gasket issue supposively. My question was, didn’t they do a FULL diagnostic on his vehicle when the coolant was leaking and was in for service/repair?? I’m not a mechanic but I know coolant doesn’t evaporate. Anyways, he called and spoke to Kia Canada 2x and they didn’t want to get involved (what r they there for anyways?). We spoke to another Kia dealership and they said that this dealership should do this job on “goodwill” as he had only driven it for 5 months (less than 9,000kms). They didn’t. They made all the excuses they needed to make so that they had no responsibility. He had 3rd party warranty and so he was out of pocket $5,500. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone in town and recommend they go to Milton or Brampton - anywhere but here. Their service department was shady from the beginning and the General Manager did nothing at all but upset my future son in law by their lies. I’m all for supporting our local community but when they take advantage of its residents and won’t stand behind their used vehicles, I say go elsewhere. I know times r tough with Covid but this isn’t the way to make money. Very disappointing indeed. So much for loyalty and integrity. Owner of this Kia, pls don’t respond, as u did nothing through this whole ordeal. Totally disgraceful and serious lack of professionalism. If I could’ve given 0 star I would. Avoid !! More
