The first stop on my search for a new vehicle was Honda West Calgary and I was not anticipating that I would purchase the first car that I test drove. I recently purchased a 2016 Honda HRV and could not be happier with my purchase and the entire experience. My sales rep was Darrin whom I found to be very friendly, knowledgeable, informative and confident in the car he was trying to sell. My brother-in-law assisted with my search and Darrin answered all of the questions that he had. I thought the process would be very daunting but found that I was very comfortable dealing with Darrin and his easy, not pushy attitude. Darrin presented the features of the vehicle both in the show room and during the test drive. After receiving the car he also spent a considerable amount of time explaining features and how each one operated, with added pointers. I dealt with Peter for the financing who explained all the available options and the end paper work process was quick and efficient. If you are shopping for a Honda I would highly recommend the Honda West dealership. More

They were particularly helpful in finding a compromise on price for the new vehicle as well as for our trade in, they explained all the options and variables to help us feel comfortable. They were also very flexible when it came time to pay and when it took us 10 days to move the money and get a bank draft too them they were understanding and didn't push or put pressure on us. More

Ray was more like a friend than a salesman in that there was never any pressure put on us. Ray was concerned that our ?'s were answered and we understood and that we were comfortable, We also appreciated having the seven day exchange policy. When we returned the first car there was no criticism or resentment. Ray just wanted to know the problem and how he could help us find another car - which he did. Go talk to Carla! This was the first time I’ve ever bought a new car but not the first time I’ve dealt with a dealership. I have to be honest; my prior experiences were This was the first time I’ve ever bought a new car but not the first time I’ve dealt with a dealership. I have to be honest; my prior experiences weren’t that good. But Carla really went the extra mile for me! I am weary of high pressure sales but Carla was so low key about it, she really made me feel comfortable enough to make my own decision but she was always available when I had questions so I really felt informed. She even answered my email at 1 am! As well, she went so far as to let me take the car that I ended up purchasing home so my fiancé could test drive it because they weren’t able to come down with me. This instilled a feeling of confidence in me that Carla really wanted to help me find a car that would fit me and my family, which is what I was looking for. I will be honest that do wish the price they offered me for a demo model was lower but overall, for a ‘first time buying new’ experience, I can definitely say that I am happy. Also, I can, without hesitation, say that I will buy from Carla again in future! More

His communication with me was friendly and helpful throughout my decision-making process. There was a problem getting the colour and trims on the HR-V I wanted and I felt I wasn't given an accurate picture of how long it would take to get my car at the time I was making the decision to buy. However, once Majed got involved, I was able to get into a car I am happy with. I appreciated people staying in touch with me while they worked to find my car. Good follow-up since I've taken possession on a few items still outstanding. More
