In less than 2 months, my husband and I came to Honda West to purchase our Ridgeline last January 30 and again to purchase a 2014 CRV on March 11. It seems like going to Honda West has become a habit for my husband and I. You see my son is graduating from his degree next month and we promised him a car years and years ago but never materialized it. Finally when he announced that he will graduate this April we felt that it's time to deliver our promise. I called Majed on Monday, March 10 and explained my plan to surprise our son with a car. As usual, Majed with his knowledgeable, persuasive personality he asked me what colour I would like...black, white or silver. The following day, Tuesday, Peter Erasmus called me and assured me that he will try his best to work things out so that my dream of giving a car to my son will come true. By the way, Peter is one of the finest gentleman I've ever dealt with. He's professionalism is commendable and never takes our business for granted. On Wednesday, March 12, Peter met with us at his office and signed off the lease and BANG!!!! a CRV was born! It was that easy. It's almost like going for groceries and picking up the most beautiful red apple from the stand. I just can't find enough words to express my deepest gratitude to these people who have been so instrumental in helping us keep our promise to our son. On Thursday, my husband and I went for dinner with our son and his wife and he expressed that on Saturday, March 15 he was going to buy a second hand car which was privately advertised. I cringed upon hearing him because that was the day that we were going to pick up the car and surprise him with it. You see, when I talked to Majed about our plan of surprising our son with a car he really played along with us so well. So, I phoned Majed right away and instructed him to call my son and tell him not to be in a hurry to buy that car because he has something way better than what he was going to settle for. Thanks God he was able to convince my son to wait till Monday. Then on Saturday, March 15, we went to Honda West to pick up the CRV. We met with Jim Sarantis in place of Majed (I believe Majed was at the car show). Jim is a very friendly and amiable person. He made us feel so at home at Honda and we really appreciated that too. We also dealt with Matthew Baillie upon signing the papers. Great guy with an awesome personality. Very friendly and accommodating. He facilitated our purchase in no time. Thank you for that Matt. When we arrived to pick up the car, it was beautifully decorated with balloons, streamers and a big bow. (They thought that our son was coming with us to pick it up but the whole plan was to bring the car home to our garage and give the keys to our son). I was actually in tears when I saw how much effort and dedication these people put into our purchase. When we got to the show room, it felt like we were surrounded with our very own family. How much they made us feel special and honoured was beyond me. It's funny how after these two most recent purchases we had from Honda I tend to ask myself...What did we do to deserve such goodness from these people? I actually forgot that we gave them business but on the other hand, it was more personalized than any customer could ask for. Never even crossed my mind that I dealt with these people for business reasons. Thank you gentlemen. Honda West should be if not already one of the Best Managed Companies. You are so lucky to have these people working in your Team. If only other car dealerships were even half as good as Honda West, I probably would have tried other brands of cars...but on the other hand I wouldn't exchange this brand and these experiences with any other. i never intend to give my business to anyone else anymore. Honda West is almost like my second home and the people we've dealt with are almost like my extended family. For years we have been going to Honda West and have purchased probably 5 or six Honda cars from we've dealt with are almost like my extended family. For years we have been going to Honda West and have purchased probably 5 or six Honda cars from Civic to Accord to Ridgelines for my sons and for ourselves. Also we have recommended friends and family to Honda West and to our particular Salesperson in the name of Majed Larbe. Recently, my husband and I returned our 2010 Ridgeline and leased a 2014 Ridgeline Touring. The good thing really with the staff at Honda West is they make things happen for us. They walk the talk. I gave a call to Mr. Larbe around the third week of January. I expressed to him our needs and he said "let me look into it and I will see what I can do". Never really thought much of it because my lease wouldn't have expired until April 2014. A day or two after I got a call from Majed and said he has a 2014 Ridgeline for me. It was like no sweat at all. Majed is the kind of person that is "addictive". LOL! I don't know how else to describe him. This is really true. There were times when my husband and I wanted to try another brand of car. Just to taste the finer things in life or the most ordinary ones, but it's funny....we always end up going back to Honda and not only Honda but to HONDA WEST! We've plastered our faces probably in your dealership now because we've been dealing with Honda West probably for over eight years now and truthfully No regrets whatsoever. Whether in service or in sales. Then Majed referred us to Mr. Peter Erasmus who I thought was the most comforting and assuring guy I've ever talked to. At first I thought we won't have a chance to get approved since we transferred our leasing from personal to business account. But my goodness, it's like in Honda West, nothing is impossible. Peter just went above and beyond his call of duty. It was like nothing will come between us and the chance to get what we needed. He just made things happen and in a flash. He was so professional, knowledgeable, down to earth and just made us so comfortable with him. He phoned me probably 7 times in one day just to make sure that we were on the same page, what requirements were needed, when to pick up the truck, etc. The only thing that disappointed me a bit was that when we picked up the car on the 29th of January we never had the chance to see Peter again. My husband and I didn't have a chance to say a BIG THANK YOU TO HIM for all that he's done for us. I hope that in the next 3-4 years when we get another new car he will still be there to deal with us. I should never end this review without mentioning Gabe Gamauf who gave us all the paperworks to sign. He was a very pleasant and upbeat gentlemen. Although we realized that he's still new in this position, he was a very knowledgeable manager and very capable with the business he's in. I really don't mind dealing with him again. Whoever reads this review....I would like to commend your dealership and the staff that you have. Other businesses not just car dealerships should learn from your management.
