I only stopped by to take a look at a vehicle without the immediate intent of purchasing a cadillac, and from the first step in the building to the end of the deal, all three people I dealt with were more than accommodating. Nik jr was my salesman, he is a very patient and knowledgable man. Nik jr had no issue talking with me about vehicle options and showing me different cars even though I told him I was only there to look. Both the sales manager nik sr and the finance manager jason kept everything above board and in plain view, explaining everything step by step. I had been to a lot of dealers previous to don wheaton gm, and this was by far the best experience I've ever had at a dealership. More

Don Wheaton left me feeling discouraged I was filled with excitement when I first contacted Don Wheaton as anyone buying a brand new vehicle for the first time would feel! Don Wheaton was my I was filled with excitement when I first contacted Don Wheaton as anyone buying a brand new vehicle for the first time would feel! Don Wheaton was my first choice in a dealership. I shopped online and found the perfect Chevrolet for me, a 2017 Silverado 1500 High Country. I spoke with Dileep Menon who was initially kind and helpful to me. After my efforts to negotiate a deal to buy the truck of my dreams they would not consider the fact that I was not able to make the payments they suggested, they would not lower the payments for me by any means. Dileep had me speak to his sales manager who was very rude to me on the phone, he told me that I could not get the truck and he kept repeatedly saying "you are asking for me to lower the cost, where am i going to get $12000? you cant! i want to help you but you need to tell me how to help you!" in a demeaning tone of voice. Never did I ask for thousands of dollars to be taken off the price of the truck, rather, i was asking for more reasonable bi-weekly payments. I felt defeated after this phone call and cried hot tears, not the best first experience! I immediately I decided they lost my business. However the next day I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt since Dileep was nice and seemed like he wanted to help. I called back the next day (they did not bother to call me) to see if we can negotiate a better payment plan, again, they stated that they were unable to help me, although I felt defeated and discouraged I kindly accepted and moved on to another dealership. I bought the exact same truck at Lakewood Chevrolet for nearly the same price and better options such as a sunroof, 3M and power running boards. The key difference was that Lakewood Chevrolet treated me with respect and they made the effort to secure my loan and payments that were comfortable for me. I will never again attempt to do business with Don Wheaton and neither will my friends and family. More
