I brought in my car on July 5th and was advised that it's covered under warranty for the replacement of the coolant. I didn't hear back until I followed up with them on July 7th which is a Friday after numer covered under warranty for the replacement of the coolant. I didn't hear back until I followed up with them on July 7th which is a Friday after numerous phone calls. I was finally told that the coolant had been replaced however they found more issues on the wiring. Due to this they would need to keep the car till July 10th or 11th. I had not had the rental as I was advised the parts were not on back order. Despite the parts not being on back order they found additional problems which they got approved by KIA for. All these problems were covered by warranty however still a replacement vehicle was not provided. The sad part was until I don't follow up with them I don't get any updates. Now an entire weekend has going by with no car nor a replacement vehicle. As kind as he was he made no effort in trying to make an exception on my behalf but simply conveyed the information only until I asked and followed up. The sad part was there was no proactiveness nor a follow-up and everything was just provided from an informational standpoint. The vehicle is brand new approximately 1 year 1 month. The dealership refuses to follow up until I continuously call them. In addition I was advised that since the part was not on back order I would not get a loaner vehicle. I was completely fine with that however after discovering more issues in which I had to follow up with I was then advised that there still would be no loaner vehicle. I'm just disappointed that the fact that there is no proactiveness by them Updated on August 18th 2023. Today I finally received my car. Yes my initial review was very negative however during the course the dealership did go out of its way to assist me. The manager Michael Defreitas did give me a call and offered me a rental on the dealerships on cost starting on July 8th. On July 10th the dealership did confirm that the parts are back ordered and had arranged a similar size rental for me. I must say initially things did not go well but one thing I have enjoyed about this dealership is that they do try and work things out with you even though initially it does not work in your favor. I have only dealt with service. I can almost never get through when I call. They actually don't give you any advice on needed services. This is my 2nd Kia and my third dealership an I can almost never get through when I call. They actually don't give you any advice on needed services. This is my 2nd Kia and my third dealership and the first time service was not done regularly. Was expecting that once I was in their system I would get emails, reminders, etc and advice on needed service. . So disappointed. My current Kia is my last one. I have never met a service advisor at this location ever. At the other dealerships, I drove up to a service desk and spoke directly with an advisor. This level of service does not happen at Lockwood and it should. This is likely why no one ever told me I was due for service. That being said, staff in customer service are helpful and friendly. More

I just bought my third Kia from Lockwood Kia. I have continued to buy Kia's because of quality and dollar value and have returned to Lockwood because of their customer service and care. This time Jay Dacosta made sure I understood all the features of my new 2023 Sportage X-Line LImited. Jay was backed up by his Sales Manager, Colin Soldi-Macdougal; the General Sales Manager, Michael Holguin; the Financial Services Manager, Marco Diaferia; and Michael Defreitas, the General Manager. They all played a role in my recent purchase. In addition, I know from my previous Kia's that their service department, managed by Mathew Holguin, is top notch. More

I purchased my vehicle at Lockwood nearly 3 years ago and the sales team at that time were nothing short of amazing! We all know the true test is after the "sale". I felt it was important to share with tho the sales team at that time were nothing short of amazing! We all know the true test is after the "sale". I felt it was important to share with those of you who are on line car shopping, doing your homework ahead of making that big purchase that the "after the sale" service is just as great as the buying process! I have complete faith and confidence in the service team at Lockwood. Easy to book an appointment, the service manager and licensed tech have taken the time to explain any issues or made suggestions to me pertaining to the care/maintenance of my vehicle and they've treated me with kindness and respect. There are 3 other Kia dealerships that are much closer to my residence, but this kind of customer care can only be found in Oakville at Lockwood Kia. Well done! More

My experience since purchasing my car 6 years ago has been great. The Service Department staff are consistently pleasant and professional.
