Dave was recommended to me by my dad a long time ago before we were ready to start our next vehicle search. Recently one popped up that looked to be exactly what we were looking for so needless to say I before we were ready to start our next vehicle search. He was friendly and so very helpful, I honestly don’t know that I’ve ever met a salesman so knowledgeable about vehicles. He knew how absoloutely every part of it worked. There was no pressure whatsoever, we took it home that day before everything was even finalized. The entire time he was nothing but professional, topping us up with drinks on the hottest week of the year and making sure we were always cared for. David Faithful is a fabulous salesman. I contacted the dealership about a used Ford F150 on May long weekend. We lucked out on the texting a salesman on a day off. I was looking for a Ford F150 that was used that we saw on the Island Ford site however I had some particular preferences based on my families experience. Dave help me figure out what was the best fit for our family. All of the dealerships were closed that day which was unfortunate because we were excited about looking at some vehicles. Dave was so kind to contact his manager and got the keys for the building. When we went down from Nanaimo to meet him and he communicated with him us often for directions as we were coming to town and he was quick to respond. When we met him he was very knowledgable, friendly and attentive to our needs. He let us drive the truck around Duncan to get a feel of the vehicle. When we brought it back we weren’t sure if it was the right fit. He made a few phone calls and got permission to allow us to drive it back to Nanaimo and test drive the vehicle until the following Tuesday. It felt great. The truck was fun and reliable. Unfortunately it didn’t have the features that we were looking for. When we returned back to see David we realized that the inventory at this time was quite low. But he greeted us with a smile and made sure that he wasn’t pushing us into anything that wasn’t the right fit. I won’t forget how he walked to the edge of the lot to wave us goodbye. It won’t be the last time we work with David because he is such a fabulous individual. If you’re looking for a new or used vehicle I would highly recommend David Faithful at Island Ford Duncan for a purchase. I will keep telling my friends, family and clients about the excellent service I had with him and for the few that actually know him from Nanaimo I get the same story of excellent service. Where do I start. I’ve been in the market for a truck for 6 + months. Putting an order for an F-150 in the beginning of the year. Originally being told I would have it within 3 months from order. Months had passed and considering the circumstances in the car market I realized I wouldn’t be getting my truck anytime soon. I reached out to many dealers and spoke to a number of salesman and was constantly let down. Until I went online and met Dave! Dave and I connected and instantly I felt I was in the right hands. Dave had located my truck and constantly followed up with me every week with updates. All the way from the truck being assigned on a rail, through customs and being delivered to the dealership. I hadn’t experienced this level of care before with any other purchase. Coming from Vancouver I had to take a ferry to the island. Dave offered to pick me up from the ferry and take me to the dealership. (A 45 minute drive from and to the dealership). Something most wouldn’t bother with Dave went above and beyond and took care of his Client. Overall Dave’s level of service is unmatched. I was treated like family. He is a gem in the industry. Once again Thank you Dave and Island Ford for making this experience truly amazing! I would definitely make the trip and come down to the island for my next truck! More
