Luck for me, as soon as I stepped inside Toyota Town, they helped me in the most friendly way I have ever seen. As I was leaving, I had a good idea about everything I would need, as well as details about my possible lease. Even with all the technology and easy access we have in our lives today, it is hard to find people willing to reply your emails. Fortunately, it was not the case at Toyota Town, as I had a quick reply to my email, which included different lease options, and I could think about the best option before hushing into the first one. I was notified of a possible scheduled service, as usual, and I called to verify explaining that I had only one day a week for appointments as my job only allows this. The service agent was very nice and accommodated my request. The next week I went for my service appointment and after driving in and waiting for a technician I was told that my appointment was for the original tentative appointment notified by email for, of course, one of the days I had to work. I explained that I verified by phone with a service agent and set up a new appointment for my day off. She checked the system and said no verification existed and that they were too busy to fit me in. So off I went thoroughly annoyed that I had wasted my afternoon off and now had to reschedule and return again on another day off. Do you see the problems here? First, the communication between the booking agent and service department obviously was not communicated and second, your customer had the onus put on her for not verifying the appointment (which I did) and left disgruntled, dissatisfied and wasting an afternoon off work. So that was my first negative experience dealing with Toyotatown and hopefully it will be the last as I usually have high praise for both the sales and service teams. Professional service with great communication I purchased a used 2015 Camry XSE V6 in February 2018. Tim Smuck was the salesman and he provided very professional service. Tim made every effort to I purchased a used 2015 Camry XSE V6 in February 2018. Tim Smuck was the salesman and he provided very professional service. Tim made every effort to deal with any concerns I may have had and took time to show me how to operate some of the technological features the car had to offer. The car was ready when Tim said it would be and all the paper work was in order upon pickup. Buying this vehicle from Tim was a pleasant experience. Since my purchase I had an issue with a popping noise coming from the sunroof. I took the car to the service department where I was dealing with Mike Minarsky. Mike was very professional and kept great communication with me while he looked for a solution to this problem. When Mike finally had an answer I was very happy. Mike told me that the used car department was going to pick up the tab for the repair. This was a big job and potentially very costly to me so I was extremely happy with Mike and the used car department. We then set up an appointment and the job was done in a timely manner. It was a little over 3 months after purchasing my Camry that I had an issue that I thought may be a bad battery. I set up an appointment for the next day and dropped my car off the night before using the key drop and overnight parking ToyotaTown offers. The next morning at 9:15 a.m. I received a phone call from Firis Sharif. Firis told me he had already diagnosed the battery as having a bad cell and he recommended changing out the battery and then he would perform tests on the alternator and starter motor to be sure everything was working properly. Firis later contacted me to tell me the car was ready for pick up. All of my communication with Firis was done over the phone and he was very professional. Firis kept great communication throughout the whole process. I picked my car up after work and it was good to go. In summary, it was unfortunate that I had a couple of issues with my used Camry so early on after purchasing it but ToyotaTown dealt with the issues professionally, in a timely manner and with no hassles. The experience I have had to this point tells me that ToyotaTown takes customer service very seriously and to me that is a breath of fresh air in an industry that has had a fairly poor reputation when it comes to customer relations.
